I enjoy the classes here especially helping with the kids classes. Ive attended a few tournaments also and had fun. Its very educational about techniques to protect yourself that are easy to learn.

My son has been under the instruction of Larry Fields for just over a year now. He has succeeded in so many avenues in his life. He is just 9 yrs old and you can see a difference in his confidence, his mannerisms and is just so much more open then he ever was. Devyn had excelled in his competitions because Larry Fields takes the time to teach these kids each step they need to succeed and protect themselves for the future. The after school program is AWESOME!!!! Very reasonable and they pick your child up from school each day. Give them a call.

Amazing instructors. They work so well with the children, and that adult class seems interestingly fun. A great way to learn self defense.

Abilene Mixed Martial arts is an extremely professional school. As well as being family friendly. Ive been training with Shihan Fields for many years. Im in the best shape of my life and have no doubt when it comes to defending myself. When my child is old enough I look forward to putting him in training with Shihan Fields. I love that my son and I will be able to train together someday soon. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dont go anywhere else!

I joined AMMA back when I was only 12 it was awesome working out. it is fun as a kid and enjoyable as an adult. You will learn self respect and be ready to defend and protect your self if needed hopefully not but it is always good to be able too. before I joined karate I was socially awkward and after only a month or 2 I was able to come out of my shell and make friends. 6 years of karate that I enjoyed and loved. tournaments are pricey but a lot of fun. Larry teaches respect, confidence, pride, and Honor. if u want your kids to learn these traits. then AMMA is a must. also if you are an adult and want a fun workout or skill. After going to a few classes for free to get the feeling i decided to join. The instructors are nice and laid back and the classes are great so far. Never having done anything like this before i felt very welcome and everyone was great! I would recommend for someone wanting to enter Karate or MMA.PS. Do not sign up for contract. Harder to get out of than wireless bill!! Go monthly. Costs more but if you decide you cant go anymore, have a child, loose a job, it wont eat you monthly for 3 years!

He is the best damn teacher friend father figure to all children i actually been knowing him for awhile now when he had his long curly black hair before he got it cut in 2014-2015

My experience at this place was warm and laid back but yet hard work and entertain by the few proud instructors that I will miss a lot and I hope nothing but the best for there classes and the tournaments down the line...

I put my two oldest children in here and have nothing but good things to say. The dojo is family friendly, my kids enjoy learning from the instructors here, I dont think I could pick a better place to help grow my kids more physically, mentally, or spiritually.

My son has been with Larry for over 17 years (since he was 4 yrs old). As an adult he chooses to continue to learn and compete with Larry. Thank you AMMA for the many years of having us be a part of your Dojo......and many more to come.

I enjoyed it alot I did Karate for awhile even made it to grey belt I know most of the instructors especially Larry Fields he is the best teacher ever you can trust me when I say your children are in good hands :-) :-) :-)
