This was my first visit here. I went for lunch not knowing what to expect but I heard it was good. They did not disappoint. The store and restaurant are kept very nice and clean. The staff was really helpful as well. I had a pear chicken salad that was topped with oils that Cordells sells. It was delicious! I also tasted the chicken salad sandwich that my friend had as well. It was also fantastic. We then stepped over to their store, which is in the same building, and purchased some of the oils that we had just eaten in our lunches. The owner, Joy, came out to check on us while we ate and then later waited on us while we chose the oils we wanted to purchase. We had a great experience and we will be back!

Great selection of flavored olive oils and vinegars. Lots of harder to find spices and spice blends. I recommend the harissa oil. its spicy and goes well with anything.

Such a cool little shop and place of dining. I love this shop! You gotta come by for the coffee, huge selection of olive oils and spices, and the brunch! There was a little mix up, and the owner apologized profusely and their chef threw in a lovely dessert for our trouble. I absolutely LOVE this place. I will never buy olive oil anywhere else, and I can see myself getting a latte here every weekend.Please come by this amazing local place and support these fine people!

First visit, bought a 0.75 lb bag of coffee and a 3.4 oz bag of chocolate. Total came to $30.Apart from the deli, there are no prices lists, books, or stickers for most products. Owner offered a loyalty punch card for future visits, but it did not make it to the shopping bag. Generally friendly staff, but none of the five present wore a face mask.

Good looking, good food, vg hosting

Ate here for the first time today and it definitely won’t be my last. It was Thai Tuesday so I enjoyed Jason’s Tom Kha Kai. It was absolutely amazing. I also enjoyed sampling all the oils and vinegars. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Joy was very kind and extremely knowledgeable.

5 stars just isnt enough. The selection of oils and vinaigrettes is beyond compare. The staff is exceptionally knowledgeable.

Ordered some of the Masala chai tea from here as a gift for my mom..she absolutely loved it.. so I guess Ill be ordering more online until I go to Abilene being from Marfa and all.

I went here in December of 2029 and none of the employees had masks on. The hospital in Abilene has ZERO icu beds, why wouldn’t you do all you can to help out the hospitals? It didn’t help that 80% of the inventory didn’t have prices, so you are forced to ask the maskless employees how much things cost. It doesn’t matter if you don’t believe if masks work—science proves they slow the spread. Grow up and be a responsible business.

Great experience. Food is delicious and so healthy. They had my food out in 4 minutes and I got to sample their items while I was in the store. They use locally grown vegetables in their salads and support the local farmers.

LOVE this place! The food is so clean and healthy.. I never feel weighed down after eating here. Be sure you ask about their daily special before you order (or find it on FB). Its hard to make a food recommendation because I cant say Ive tried something yet I didnt like... but my favorite is probably the tomato soup. Plenty of beautiful salads on the menu too :)FYI the store is open til 6 pm BUT the kitchen closes at 2 daily! You CAN however ask for your meal by 2 pm and theyll keep it waiting til youre ready to come pick it up! How awesome is that? I hope it gives a sense of how lovely the owners are because they really are good people.This isnt just a restaurant its also kind of a mini grocery store! They have fresh eggs and milk plus about a 50 different top of the line olive oils and balsamics! Stop in and check it out! I dont buy my oil from anywhere else the difference in taste is very noticeable. They also have a very good autumn spice latte (Thank you SO MUCH for not calling it pumpkin spice cordells! Haha).Cordells, Id really love it if yall brought back weekend brunches and the weekly soup specials.

Totally enjoy shopping at Cordells. Joy and Jason are wonderful and so helpful. Personal service is their trademark. Great variety of oil, spices and vinegar. The restaurant is fabulous. they often hold special dinners that are delicious and just right for the price.

Cordells is simply Amazing! They have a huge selection of Vinegars and Oils that are very tasty. You can try all of them before buying. They also have a wall of spices you can purchase. They do serve lunch from 11-2 and its very delicious! The have the most freshest ingredients I have ever tasted! You will absolutely love their salad. This is definitely a place to stop by to shop and catch a bite to eat!

Great selections of olive oil and and vinegars that are wonderfully tasty; you can sample them as you shop! The staff are friendly and helpful and can help you pair the oils and vinegars. I have been to many stores with similar offerings, but none of them are as good as Cordells! If youre a foodie or need to pick up a gift, this is the perfect place.

One of my go-to lunch and shopping spots! When I walk in, I feel like a member of the family right away. They have excellent oil and vinegar options, a great variety of specialty items including spices, coffee, teas, and chocolates, and every meal has been excellent! Highly recommend!

Great Salad the flavors were delish. Needs to be a much larger salad for me to be full, at least double the greens. But yummy

This is a great healthy spot for lunch. Great food and the BEST coffee and balsomic in the Big Country. This place is a must try and you will be back. They also have a generous military discount.

I am very allergic to gluten down to the parts per million. I do not have Celiac (negative biopsy), but I react similarly to those with very severe cases of Celiac. Cordells balsamic vinegar is the only balsamic vinegar I do not react to, and it tastes fantastic. Most balsamic vinegars in a regular grocery store have gluten in them, and I react to many organic so called gluten free balsamic vinegars that have grape must. There are no questionable additives in Cordells vinegars, and they are safe for those of us who always have to eat in but still want to make delicious food at home. Thank you Cordells for giving myself and the Celiacs in town a safe gluten-free product!

Super awesome spot, they have a really incredible selection of premium infused olive oils. My wife and I use the garlic one in almost everything we cook.

This is one of my favorites shops. Their vanilla is really good as are the vinegars and oils.

Have great product and are super helpful with what ever your looking for. Highly recommend this place.
