Here you will find world class instructors Tonche, Cesar, and Bryan. My two boys 4/6 and I have been coming here for about 3 months and are really enjoying it. Everyone works as a team and looks out for each other. This is a great environment to learn BJJ and striking. For the kids it’s an amazing way to build self discipline and confidence.

This place has great coaches that love to help. They will completely stop what they’re doing to ensure that you understand concepts and answer questions. The people that train here take care of each other and help teach tricks to the trade. Great place with great people that will make you feel welcomed from the first day to the last. Highly recommend to people that are on the fence.

Not to say this a bad gym. Gym staff seemed to know what they were doing. I came in to talk about getting a membership and have a one on one. Im pretty excited about the opportunity to learn something new. To learn about bjj and striking since on there website it says they teach striking as well . So i come in. Im ask to sit for a bit which is no issue cause there is a class going on. After the class ends and a new one is about to begin. A gentleman comes to talk to me, and he shows me a few moves. Im confused at this point cause we just go straight into it. I dont know much about thw sport or how going to a gym like this works. I domt know about the main coach and his experience or the guy that im talking tos experience. The owner seems nice and liek a good instructer from waht i could see from the first class i walked in on. After the class the owner and main instructer didnt come to introduce himself or tell me about his gym and why i should join. He didnt come up to me and say anything. After i practice some of these moves for maybe 10 minutes we go back to the office to talk about memberships. I also try to talk about ufc and the things thay excite me about mma. The person im talking to about memberships doesnt seem lime he wants to talk about the sport or teach me about bjj. He talks to me in depth about the meberships though which kinda rubs me the wromg way. I was excited to leanr something new. But after my experience i domt know if i want to start a membership. It all kinda rubbed me the wrong way. They didnt seem lile they wanted new memebrs or were excited about new memebers. This was very disheartening. A gym like this should be excited about new members and teaching people new things. About inciting enthusiasm about their gym. This was not the case. The instructer may be great but as a maybe new member i felt like an unwanted guest

My career has me moving roughly every 2 to 3 years and every time I move I have to start all over and find a new BJJ academy. As soon as I walked into Zombie BJJ I was greeted with outstanding hospitality and attentiveness. Tonche, Cesar, and Brian are great instructors and they do very well teaching techniques for every level and emphasizing on the little details. I have trained at half a dozen academies and Zombie BJJ is by far one of my favorites.

Been training here for a few months with my daughter and we love it! The coaches are incredibly skilled, professional, and always take the time to make sure everyone is learning. Now all of my kids are training here and looking forward to every session! Ive made friends out of people I probably would have never met and the academy is a small home away from home. Hands down best place to train bjj in and around Abilene.

I have trained at most of the gyms in Abilene. This is hands down the best gym that I have stepped into. The atmosphere is phenomenal, the coaching staff really knows their stuff. I have learned more in the short amount of time (that i should have done a long time ago) than i have at my many many years at previous gyms. On top of everything else the mats and equipment are super clean. The best Martial Arts gym any one can ask for.

I have trained around the country at various gyms and still consider Zombie BJJ in Abilene to be the best overall experience.Coaches Tonche and Cesar are natural teachers with close attention to every detail. They also compete regularly at high level as well as their students. I consider this gym a rare gem that is a huge asset to the town of Abilene, Texas. If I ever return that way, I will be training at Zombie BJJ for sure.

Our family loves this gym. Both of my girls (7 & 13) have been going for 5 months. They both love it and cant wait to get to go once school is out. They both started meek and timid and now their confidence pours over from the mats into real life. I cant thank this gym enough for what it has meant to our family. I also started training after seeing the difference in my girls and I get why they are excited to go. You get to lose yourself in the hour-hour and a half of training. No thinking of work, or other problems going on. Its a big giant family there. From kids to adults.

My husband and I started taking classes at the end of January. We loved it so much we skipped the free 30 day trial and signed up right away. The instructors are amazing, class is always fun and everyone is very kind and welcoming to new people. I hope to be able to stay for many years.

The first thing I noticed was the impressive facility, which is spacious and more than large enough to handle the class sizes. The people I trained with were courteous and friendly. The instructor was attentive and very knowledgeable. There were a number of experienced grapplers there. In my hometown, Im used to classes with mostly white belts and blue belts, and the occasional purple or brown belt. Here, I saw several purple and brown belts, but the white belts were skilled enough to where it was clear to me that promotions were earned, not just given away. All of these observations led me to the conclusion that Zombie BJJ is the real deal.

I was hesitant to start because I knew nothing. Now 4 months in I can’t believe I waited this long in my life to do this. I highly suggest everyone do the class, The people are fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. If your going to learn and do your best it will change your life.

I take my boys here and we love it!!!! They train hard and have a lot of fun! It is a well disciplined and very humble sport to get your kids involved in. They are taught they need to work hard, not only in the gym, but in everything they do. It has proven affective against bullies this year, only to defend themselves. They are taught never to pick fights and to always defend themselves and those unable to defend themselves. They are encouraged to compete and not discouraged if they lose. All the instructors here have been amazing. My husband also trains when he can, and if he could, hed be doing it every chance he got!! Very professional with the adults, everyone is friendly and have great sportsmanship! There is no alpha male feeling, its very humbling for the adults as well!! Couldnt express how much we love this gym!!!!

I spent the last year in Abilene, and I enrolled with Jeremy and Zombie BJJ. From day one Coach Jeremy and his other instructors were welcoming and positive. I watched them take in many new students, of all different levels, and worked them all into the training system. This BJJ and MMA academy is run very professionally, but also very personally, with very confident and trustworthy instructors.Jeremy is a real pro, and is always expanding his game. He brings in world class Jiu-Jitsu competitors and world class MMA trainers for seminars regularly. Its hard at first, but you will extremely happy with yourself if you stick with it. Training in Jiu-Jitsu is a life long experience, and Im really glad I started it with Jeremy and Zombie BJJ.If you are just starting, or you are a seasoned vet, I think you will find that Zombie BJJ is the only place to train with real Jiu-Jitsu players in Abilene.
