Peter is the best Sensei! I started learning from Peter back in 2012 with my daughter. Loved the detail, focus, training, and human touch. Best place to learn Karate.

My 6yr old son has been coming here for over 6 months now and we are so happy with his progress and most importantly, how happy and excited he is for his class. All thanks to everyone at Peter Pippos who go above and beyond to make all kids comfortable at their own pace. They do so much for kids self esteem as well.

Having my 2 boys (ages 8 and 12) enroll in the Pippos Karate Center was one of the best decisions I have ever made. My two non sporty kids have grown so much through their 3X weekly classes. Sensei Peter as well as all of this instructors are incredibly professional, fun-loving, energetic and attentive. The confidence building aspect of karate has been huge for my children, as well as the physical strength they are building while having fun. Especially during a crazy pandemic year, attending Pippos Karate Center (classes and Empower Academy) has been a constant blessing for our family. Also, Nicole Pippos is a gem who truly cares for the children and their mental and physical well being.Many many thanks to the whole Pippos family for letting us join in on such a fun and rewarding journey.

Thank Goodness I heard about PPKC when I moved to Acton! The Pippos family is a great support for the Acton community in so many ways. I first knew of the Center for their after school program, which Id say is the BEST in town. Were very unhappy with the AB Community Education Extended Care program and fortunately PPKC had an opening and were able to move our daughter to their afterschool program starting in January on 2020 and that was the best decision we could have made. The environment is so bright and so positive, our daughter was much happier, with the plus that now she was also doing Karate. Sensei Peter is a great leader, everybody loves him. After the pandemic, PPKC quickly started offering online lessons which was great for everyone in the middle of the lockdown and with so much anxiety for what was going on. Nicole Pippos even organized a few time online activities through zoom, like Bingo or treasure hunts. When school started in the fall of 2020, they started the Empower Academy for kids taking online classes which has been a lifesaver for working parents and has offered some sense of normalcy to our children. I cannot express my gratitude for the PPKC family for the positive impact they have in our life. We love you!

Peter is a positive role model instilling values into kids. I’ve seen my son develop confidence in himself that I directly attribute to this school and what they teach. Peter, Lukas, and Morgan make class fun while teaching karate and life lessons. Sensei Peter Pippos is a special person--his energy and positivity are infectious. This place is full of heart and a great place for physical and emotional growth. My 5 and 8 year olds have been taking classes for almost 2 months, and love it here so much. The instructors are incredibly kind and caring while also teaching them discipline and how to follow directions. They are great with making every class a blend of having fun and learning karate.

A great place to go for either Karate or after school/camp program. The staff is very nice and accommodating, and will go above and beyond to make sure every kid and family is taken care of. They have become more of a 2nd family for us than just caretakers.

We love this dojo and Sensei and all the teachers! So much changed suddenly this year, yet my boys were able to move very smoothly to virtual karate lessons, which gave them a sense of routine and consistency throughout the spring and summer. My youngest son struggles to control his body and his emotions, and his time learning karate and working with these fabulous instructors has resulted in fantastic growth! So grateful

Peter Pippos karate has been the best thing we have done for our children pre-pandemic and definitely with the pandemic. It is such a positive experience physically emotionally and mentally for my kids . Peter and his staff don’t just teach karate, they help my children develop into confident focused stable children and eventually adults . The dojo is a place my children love going to and they always walk out of there happy and enthusiastic. The Physical component it’s so important especially during the pandemic. The dojo and programs make every point in being safe And careful, complying with all the ever changing rules. Even when the dojo was closed Nicole and Peter were way ahead of the curve in providing virtual lessons for all ages and all abilities from day one. keeping my kids focused and motivated and I. positive spirits despite the uncertainty and shut down of the schools. I told Peter and Nicole time and time again the constant stability of their program was a main component in keeping my kids centered, grounded and in good spirits during the uncertainty of the early days of the pandemic. I cannot say enough positive things about my family’s experience at Peter Pippos Karate. it truly is a Karate family. My children Have made friends and we plan on Continuing training well into the far future.Having said all that I cannot say enough positive things about the adult program as well in which I participate. Not only has it been such a positive experience for my overall health it has been so important mentally during stressful times. I walk into you my workouts with a smile and walk out with a positive attitude , mentally relaxed and physically challenged.My only regret is not having us all start sooner this is truly a special place run by exceptional people and if I could I would give it 10 stars.

PPKC is a very very special place and Sensei Peter is easily one of the best martial arts teacher. He is great guy and words are not enough to describe him, When you talk to Peter you will notice that you are talking to a very intelligent person with exceptionally high positive energy levels. His discipline, dedication, professionalism towards his students is incredible. Together Nicole, Peter and Lukas are a great team, super friendly and are highly passionate about all the students. They remember the name of each kid, their strength, weakness and they get the best out of all kids. Each and every class they conduct is full of energy, high quality learning and a memorable experience. In addition to Karate, Peter and Lukas also gives them real life lessons around discipline, hardwork, honesty, integrity and much more. They always raise their bar higher and higher. During these lockdowns, PPKC quickly moved to online lessons with same levels of intensity and quality and now in-person learning is back again with all the necessary safety measures and guidelines.
