Ive been going to the Akron Barber College since I was a little boy I have never had a bad experience there The Barbers that Ive had contact with have done me and my family very well the lead instructor Tim is awesome and the barber that cut my sons hair and my grandsons hair today Carlos he is truly a professional he tended to all of my grandsons need and I really appreciate him he is an asset to the organization and will be a great Barber when visiting the Akron Barber College ask for Carlos

They are unprofessional and the supervisor himself. They close at 5 pm but if anyone comes at 3 they close the doors and the supervisor makes fun of the people coming in if they don’t know English. This is highly unprofessional, how would he teach the people there if he himself treates the customer like this. They laugh on elder people.I do not recommend this place.

First off let me say they are very rude people. I went in to just get information on hair coloring service that they clearly have posted on their website for $30 and up. I was then told they do not offer this service and when I suggested they take it off their website the person told me Im not taking anything off the website. So let see may fraud is a good word. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Also, they have a sign stating masks must be worn but no one was wearing a mask. If I knew where to turn them in at I most definitely would.

I was looking for a barber and was recommended to come here. Being hesitant because it was a barber college and not knowing if the people working there knew how to cut African American style hair, I was put at ease once I was greeted. I want to give great kudos to this place and to the barber who cut my hair, David. He was professional, friendly, and made me feel at ease. Best of all, you cant beat the price, $7.00! I wanted to show my appreciation by giving a little extra to that total. Thank you so much and I will return again.

Didn’t line my hair up. Didn’t know how to line or fade my beard. Now I have to go to another Barber shop to get a line up. Would not recommend at all an will never be back. Teach your students how to include a line up.

Great experience when I went here. The Subotins are great people and the foundation that was laid for me to become a good barber is something I will be forever grateful for. I recommend any person who is looking to become a barber to go to The Akron Barber College for their education.

The best value and service in the area. Most men pay $8 to $20 for a less than 5 minute haircut.Akron Barber College takes their time and does it right. Nose, Ear beards are all included. Shaving the neck with a razor is standard. When you go to other shops that dont do it beause of aids.The atmospher is relaxed and it feels like an old time barber shop.Does one get a good haircut from the students??? You bet, the completed hair-cut is inspected by a supervisor working the floor..You cant go wrong and its worth the experience.
