Alot has changed at the edge . no longer feel as welcome as It used to when coming.But the classroom teachers are top notch.

I want to preface this post with the fact that I have several good friends who work at this school, so my review may be viewed as biased. At the same time, if they were unhappy there or didnt believe in what they do, I certainly wouldnt have taken the time to write this review.The Edge Academy offers a solid alternative option to Akron Public Schools. Teachers and staff work diligently to ensure a quality education for their students and regularly train on the most current teaching techniques in an effort to continually improve their students experience. With the average classroom having around 24 students, teachers are often able to make time for individualized instruction for students who are struggling with certain aspects of their education. In addition, 100% of students are free lunch eligible, ensuring that no student goes hungry while at schoolThe negative reviews seem to be from kids being kids and a former staff member who no longer has gainful employment at the school. This is my speech to all the ppl who went to the edge academy,it is a great place you can really learn alot the teacher are polite,nice,fun and wonderful the reason i say this is because they give you a second chance. They make you laugh,they celebrate your bithday.The ceremonies are wonderful they try to make a differnt person.And try to make you a leader not a follower.They even has some quotes like treat a person like you want to be treated.My teacher Mrs.Mac use to say that all the time. She is a great teacher she tells funny stories about her cat and her puppynames of her cats :clypso,i forgot the other onename of her puppy: it is either whinsten or cole i think its coleoh yeah i o most forgot about our principle Mrs.Burchfield she is one of the most best principles in the world.sincerly,jyqoria finney xoxoxoxo
