I dont know if you could find a more friendly, family-oriented dance studio. The staff are always very professional, polite and friendly. This studio truly helped my granddaughter begin to build her self esteem and confidence not just in something she loves -- DANCE, but also in the bonds of friendship.Last year, I was fortunate to enroll her brothers into a dance class with her. While I know that my boys can be a handful, I can not put into words how well the staff handled redirecting them to learning dance. We were able to communicate about any behaviors, goofing off. Instead of being annoyed or frustrated, the staff realized that some days, the boys just werent into doing dance; patience was demonstrated at all times. They recognized anxiety and offered encouragement. I have and I will continue to recommended this studio to all of my friends because of its friendly, family atmosphere.There arent any hidden fees AND they have fund raisers to help the dancers earn credits toward their show costume(s), recital tickets and/or pictures.This dance studio is more than teaching dance -- its building confidence and long lasting friendships. As for my family, Dance Beatz, has been a blessing that I hope to continue for quite a few years to come!With great appreciate to the teachers and staff of Dance Beatz for 2 successful season and looking forward to Season 3!!

We LOVE Dance Beatz. My daughter has special needs and the amazing teachers here have helped her build confidence. They find talent in every child and make it fun too! I can’t thank Lisa enough for the great experience. We can’t wait for fall classes to start!

First, the ENTIRE staff of Dance Beatz is beyond amazing! No child feels left out at this studio! My son attended and had a BLAST! All of the staff is always upbeat, smiling, and more than willing to help (even down to helping tie littles shoes!). I have read some of the other reviews stating hidden fees- Totally untrue and slander of the establishment. You pay a monthly tuition for dance classes. Costumes, shoes, accessories IF YOU WANT YOUR CHILD IN THE SHOW (Which is an amazing show, I may add!) Very professional business with AMAZINGLY talented teachers and staff. I recommend this studio as often as I can!

We love all the teacher, it is a fun place for children to learn dance and have many wonderful experiences. They put on a professional show at the end of the season. My daughter has taken here for 8 years, and has learned so much, met new friends and has had wonderful opportunities to perform through out the community. The staff is always helpful and there number one priority is the kids.

My daughter has been dancing for 6 years now! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The teachers have taught her so much about dancing and having confidence!

One star at best. You have choices this isnt the only studio and definitely not the best unless you want to keep your wallet open and deal with rude staff..

The level of unprofessionalism is profound. If you attempt to address it with them, they will BLOCK YOU from their page so you cannot leave a truthful review. One staff member in particular, Megan, has disgusting behavior towards parents. And if she speaks to grown adults this way, imagine how she is treating your children when you cant be right next to them!!! AND you cant warn other parents with a review on social media because they block you!! This company nickel and dimes you TO DEATH. Every month its something more. The choreography is sub par at best. Spend your hard earned money somewhere that will respect you and your family!!

We have been at Sharon Rae/Dance Beatz for 7 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My daughter has learned so much from the staff. We would not change one thing about this dance school. LOVE IT!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Dance beatz. My two year old daughter is in her second month of the program and she asks about going to dance class and to see her teacher every single day. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I see them comforting the other children when they are crying, and Miss. D, is very nurturing. She is always fixing the little girls hair bows and greeting them with so much excitement. When I was researching this business I noticed negative reviews regarding “hidden fees.” At the bottom of your application/information paper there is an option to be automatically billed for each month and I think some people may have unknowingly signed this. I have not experienced any of the complaints on here BUT I have noticed my child flourishing socially and already learning so much! She has always been interested in dancing and singing but since starting these classes she is a dancing fool! I highly suggest, and in fact, ENCOURAGE any parent interested in dance for their child to check them out!

Very disappointed in this place.,they put all the tall and big girls in front of the line and the little ones in the back where they cant be seen. Makes no sense...terrible planning!

Let me just begin with the fact that this place rubbed my husband and me the wrong way. My daughter had ear surgery, recuperated and was given the okay to participate in dance classes. However, she got hit on the operative ear by another student on the first day of class. I had spoken to the dance assistant prior this incident and asked that she share this information to the dance instructor. Well apparently she didnt, because when I spoke to the owner she spoke to me in condescending manner and blamed me for not speaking to the instructor and also questioned if she was releaded. Yes, she was duh. She didnt realize she was speaking to a Registeted Nurse. She was lacking compassion and empathy. My request was to place my child on the end of the line, which she agreed to but it didnt happen. In addition, this place was unprofessional and lacked compared to other establishments.We NEVER returned to finish the remaining classes. Go elsewhere! !

First the good thing: My daughter had fun and she learned a lot in the preschool aged class. And really, thats about where the positives end with this place. From day one Dance Beatz just rubbed me the wrong way. And at every turn they would charge you extra fees just to continue that were not disclosed at the time you signed up.They take supreme advantage of the fact that once they hooked you in for the year, they knew that you really had no where to go. Because what was the alternative? Take my child out of the class midyear and break a 3 year olds heart? They KNOW parents wont do that and they prey on it.I would advise ANY one that if you are looking for a quality dance studio that wont charge you at every turn, simply stay away from this place.The management seems to feel that they are the TOP dance studio in the Akron area, and they feel that they can charge you top dollar for this experience. If you want to be charged top dollar for dramatically sub par teaching and to get berated as a parent, then perhaps you would like it here. However, if not, please stay away.

My daughter is in her fifth year at Dance Beatz and she loves it! The staff is great as well!

Very disappointed in this studio. They only want your money. When there are serious issues, they all side together. They are cocky, condescending and disrespectful.
