This school made it possible for our son to love learning again. Our son started here in the 6th grade & just started his sophomore year. He is looking ahead to college. Had we stayed in our home school district I dont think he would belooking forward to furthering his education. The teachers & staff have been excellent. The class size, curriculum & accountability make ACLC perfect for those looking for a smaller, kinder learning environment ACLC is worth tha try.We have especially loved the help from the SPED resource department. They have been remarkable and a true God send for our son to confidently learn alongside his peers.
The community of people is stellar, but there is a general lack of funds and a few notable sub-par teachers and substitutes are notoriously low quality.Except for Book Conversation Man who subbed for Lynns sixth period last year, he was great.Edit 6/2/19: Tom, who is currently the sub for Lynns class, is also amazing. Also, Stephanie, the sub for the history long-term sub who decided to go to Spain, is an iconEdit 12/2/19: Stephanie may not be the best teacher Ive ever encountered but shes at least better than Margaret
Pretty cringe
Great school for middle/junior high and high school. Quite small population and campus, and crowded in courtyard, but overall great. Would recommend.
Its okay. the people arent great and neither are the teachers. i like the academic freedom, but a lot of kids could end up not doing anthing.
Awesome school
Sad to see that a passionate community is overshadowed by an overwhelming amount of poor facilitators and staff.
