My girlfriend and I have been working out here for close to two years now, and we love it. We go 4-5 times most weeks. The classes are reasonably sized, normally 10 - 15 people during the afternoon classes, and sometimes only a handful of people at the off peak classes. All the trainers and staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and willing to work one on one with you if you have questions. All of the regular members are really nice too. No intimidating meat heads like at other gyms. I cant say enough nice things about this place. The first couple of classes are tough, but if you do your best, go at your own pace, and stick with it, youll notice a difference in your stamina and strength within the first month.

UFC gym has been a very friendly, clean, organized place from my experience. definitely a great environment to enhance your skills, fitness, health, and of course our love for martial arts. I definitely love their MMA class. we have a very experienced coach which i think is the most valuable quality an MMA gym can have. so thumbs up and definitely 5 stars for this gym.

My son joined, back when it was LA Boxing. We were told that he would receive some boxing lessons, but all he ever got was an exercise class. Because he never got what was promised, and because of our financial situation, we withdrew his membership. We followed the procedure to withdraw and turned in the termination paperwork. We were told that it would take up to 60 days to process, but they continued to bill us for several months afterword, and no one would do anything about it. We had to cancel our credit card to keep them from charging us for lessons. Very poor customer service.

This is a great facility with friendly knowledgeable staff. Its a very chill environment with people really focused on their own training/goals. In other words, there arent any meatheads or jerkoffs. What I really appreciate however, is the background and experience of the staff. This is the only gym I have found in the capital district that actually offers Muay Thai. The classes are strenuous, and there is an appropriate amount of focus on technique. Of course, just like anything, youll get out of it what you put into it.

When bally owned it I was cheated out of money after a car accident that made it so I couldnt train. I cancelled the membership after paying 550 dollars in services I never received and never received a final bill. Today after not hearing anything from them for over a year they called me to tell me I supposedly was never cancelled and owe them 1500 dollars. So there goes my credit because they refuse to acknowledge that they lied and messed up.i was told multiple times by Rob that I could cancel at anytime with no fees, guess not and surprise the club had it in their contract that verbal agreements didnt count but Im stupid for just signing after rob told me it was legal stuff I didnt need to read.

First off, THE UFC GYM is not connected to the Ultimate Fitness Center that was as Crossgates mall ! This GYM is an extension tied in to the UFC that you see on tv. Dont confuse the 2 of them (as someone on here has done)Now for the review, when i started last September, i really had no idea what boxing or anything related to mma was, now these 10 months later, my strength, speed, cardio, have all greatly increased, i gained core strength, lost some unneeded weight (was 204 lbs, ), learned so much, i can handle getting in a ring and sparring others (not for beginners). The entire staff and other patrons are like one big family, the workouts are always challenging, and changing so theyre never the same. All coaches are available for personal, one on one sessions from anything ranging from weight traing, to cardio to boxing itself. Former local pro boxer Mikey Faragon is a member of its teaching staff, bringing with him an unbelievable boxing record of 19-1 as a pro. Learning from him has been awesome. Everyone of the coaching staff has their own backgrounds in either Ju Jitsu, or Kickboxing, or mma as a whole. So, dont wait any longer, give yourself or your family the gift of being healthy, and learning self defense in the process.
