As a former athlete, these qualities stand out very strongly to me. I am constantly impressed with the ease with which she teaches everyone from absolute beginners to those who have been dancing their whole lives. Her instruction has also improved my performance as an aerialist, and she even helped me to choreograph a portion of my last performance.Bianca is generous with her time, attention, and knowledge. I plan to dance with her for years to come.

When I moved to Albuquerque, Bianca was the first to make me feel welcome and at home in the dance community. Outstanding ballet instruction for adults of all persuasions. I decided to start ballet as a means to improve my horseback riding (balance) and core strength. I have been delighted with the classes Ive taken. Bianca is welcoming to all, approaches each student as an individual with skills and opportunities for growth, and is just plain old fun to be around. The other students Ive met have also been very welcoming. The whole experience has exceeded my expectations. I have no dance experience, am in my later 60s, and would not fit in my high school clothes even if you used a crow bar. I had always considered trying ballet however I thought I would not be successful starting at 30 years old (especially considering I had never danced in my life!). I started my ballet journey with Bianca ~9 months ago and I can honestly say it is one of the best decisions I have made. Ive had so much fun learning ballet with Bianca this year! We all know 2020 wasnt a good year for anyone or anything, but taking ballet with Bianca was one of the bright spots for me. Bianca is an excellent teacher for adults and has expert-level knowledge of not only ballet, but also physiology and how to practice without causing injury. I really enjoy her teaching style and have learned so much while having a great time! I havent taken ballet since I was 9, but that wasnt an issue at all. Worth noting that Bianca also handled the pandemic-related shutdowns and regulations beautifully - always communicating, reorganizing/reducing classes when possible to stay open, and even accepting reduced payments from those who couldnt continue to pay the full price. Ballet has really been one of the best parts of this crummy year, and I hope to continue til the cows come home!

It can be difficult for adults to find ballet classes that are specifically geared toward them, but Bianca Lily fills that gap in Albuquerque. Her slow and detailed approach makes her classes eminently accessible, and her thorough knowledge of injury prevention is a plus for anyone worried about aches and pains, especially as they get older. Bianca and her studio are welcoming, fun, and very accessible to folks who don’t have a dance background. She is extremely knowledgeable about how to care for our knees, back & other sensitive areas while dancing. The studio is beautiful and cozy, and spending time there is a joy. Classes have been the highlight of my weeks for almost two years now.

I really like that this school tries so hard to make ballet available to everyone, no matter your age or body type. I tried taking beginner ballet other places and they werent real beginners classes and I didnt feel like I could fit in. At this studio the students who have been around longer are really welcoming. Im so glad I found Bianca Lily Ballet. Ignore the 1 star reviews. We all know who is writing them even though Bianca wont name names. I would never known but I was there the night the woman got upset and would have written it off as a bad day, but then she went and wrote this horrible review of the studio in her real name full of crazy lies about what happened in class. Dont believe a word of it. If you want to learn ballet Bianca wants to teach you. This is the best ballet experience I could have hoped for. She knows so much about anatomy and cares so much about her students.

As a woman of an *ahem* certain age and weight, I was a bit concerned to start Ballet. Bianca was warm, welcoming and worked within my limitations. My fellow students were just a delight and the studio is a gift to Albuquerque.During this lovely Covid, I managed to sprain my hip (the left one this time...) and unlike a previous sprain (on the right side), instead of a 4 month recovery time, it was less than four weeks. I can only attribute that to Bianca. She walked me through a series of exercises to loosen the hip up and within a week I was off the cane. It was really amazing!If you have any interest in Ballet or just need to improve your balance, this is the place to come!

I have always had an appreciation for ballet, but as an adult male I never considered actually tying it out. I assumed ballet was something that if you dont start at a young age youll never be able to do. Bianca welcomes all ages, both novices and experts to her classes. I took her classes for about 6 months and found her to be a positive and constructive teacher. Although I no longer take her classes, they did help me further my appreciation for ballet as an art form and for the immense athleticism that it requires.

I took the intro ballet class with Bianca. It was an amazing experience. Bianca is a very talented teacher/dancer. She gives very clear instructions, kind, beautiful and humorous, her class is always fun and interesting, everybody was enjoying it very much. I was also very inspired by the older ladies in the class, their movements were so graceful was very inspiring. Thank you Bianca for being such an amazing teacher.

I enrolled in Bianca’s Intro to Ballet and just completed part 1. I danced as a child, but after a 15 year hiatus, I never would have thought that I could begin again at 33 years old. Her studio made my dream of dancing as an adult possible; and her classes have improved my posture, physique, and my self confidence. I drive two hours round trip, twice a week, to attend her classes. She is worth it!! She has the patience of a saint, and is always happy to stay after class and assist with tips to improve mobility and strength. I am so thankful I found her studio!

I have been taking ballet class from Bianca for four years and cannot say enough wonderful things about her or her studio. As an adult with no prior ballet experience, it has been transformative! I took Bianca Lilys Beginning Adult Ballet class. It was wonderful. I was a new ballet dancer at almost 50yo. I took the class with my 77 yo Mother. We loved it. I appreciated how Bianca really started from the beginning and very clearly explained how to do the ballet move and take care of and protect your body. That was important to me. I also liked learning about how to think of the moves in terms of whats going on inside your body, and how to visualize it and do it correctly. Everyone got to work at their own levels. On top of everything Bianca really cares, and is alot of fun.

I found this wonderful studio by searching adult ballet class in Albuquerque online and what a great find!Bianca is a very experienced ballet teacher, especially when it comes to teaching adults. She has an amazing eye to spot improvement opportunities on your movements (as we adult dancers know, we are constantly learning and getting the aha moments) plus she articulates so well that you simply just get it without having to guessing.Her teaching style is rather different from other more traditional classes. Her moves are very pretty and with thoughtful choreography. Her selection of class music is different but wonderful so you feel like you are really dancing vs. doing ballet exercise.I have been dancing ballet for years and am yet to execute a clean pirouette. Amazingly under Biancas concise instructions, miracle happened today at class and I finally got that feeling of how a pirouette is supposed to be done and feel like.I highly recommend this studio to adult dancers who is passionate and interested to know their bodies via his beautiful art form.

Although I danced ballet as a child and young teenager, I gave it up at the age of 15 and went on to study and teach primarily tap. A friend recommended I try to ease back into ballet at Studio B Dance, and I have to say, it was an excellent decision. The instructor is positive, helpful, and very knowledgable, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. I would recommend Studio B to adults who are interested in trying out ballet for the first time, or to those who like me, are returning to ballet after years and years of being apart from it.

I can not recommend Biancas studio enough. She is the most wonderful teacher. Her stretching classes are great for working out any kinks in your body and her six week intro to ballet class for adults is great for anyone with an interest in dance. I have never had a bad class from her be it stretching or ballet. Literally every class is as amazing as the last one.What makes her so great as a teacher is that she genuinely loves teaching no matter who you are or what your skill level is. If you could take an individuals personality and bottle it to sell as a medicine Biancas bottle would cure cancer, end world hunger, bring world peace about, and unite all people of the Earth.If that doesnt sound appealing to you youre probably an alien and I wonder why youre looking for dance studios on google maps.
