VERY satisfied & relieved after leaving my computer at Computer Corner for a free diagnostic. Ive always hesitated to leave my computer with anyone. Travis patiently & clearly answered my questions & assured me all would be well. No more fear! My 5 yr old HP has never run more smoothly since picking it up! I knew I needed a new battery. Travis ordered it, installed it, charged it up & it runs beautifully! All their work was done in a timely way. Call them!

I told these guys exactly what i needed and wanted. Not only did they get me what I wanted they got it for me the same day in about 2 hours. Every store I called said it would be 3-4 days to build. I edit videos and photos I had a 3 projects that needed to be completed in 6 days I was able to edit them no issues.5 stars because they didnt try to upsell me. I said i wanted 1tb ssd they never said well we recommend a 3 or 4tb. I said i want 32gb of ram they said okay. I didnt get the well we recommend 64gb. Everything i wanted they said okay and told me the price they didnt treat me like i didnt know what i was talking about.

I broke the screen on my laptop. I took it to Computer corner and they gave me a repair by date and cost. the repair was completed early and they came in on target with the cost. I am Pleased.

My old disk-drive was trshed. It was truely 5 minutes from start up to load Google.It is now takes 10 seconds. Travis and Demitri first idea was to replace the dying disk-drive with a new solid state drive - but to just copy my files from the old disc-drive. I was several ANCIENT programs that I still used. They could not be copied and pasted from the old to the new drive.When they understood my problem, they tried clone-ing the old drive into the new one, AND IT WORKED. I did not need to re-install the out-of-date programs, and I did not need to memorize all their logons and passwords.It was in and out in two days, and only cost $300.They saved some old, not tech person whose interaction with society now seems to require a computer.Thanks for saving me.

Came in for a product to just go in and out and the person at the counter was just really rude for no reason. Sighing, rolling his eyes and frustrated at everything he had to do...i didnt even go to ask for questions or anything I just needed to buy one thing so I didnt think I was an inconvenience in any way. Other people working there seemed nice.

Not off to a good start. I bought a brand new custom $1,500 desktop system. Windows was not activated, nor could I activate it myself because they never even included my original Windows disk or product key. Also, there is an issue with my DVD drive not being recognized. Its been in the shop all day, still not ready! I work out of home, and I havent been able to work on it for 4 days. I hope I can post a better review if/when this all gets resolved. 😏

Brought in my sons tablet, which they dont work on, but the young man who helped me was friendly, courteous and informative. Will definitely go in the future.

Just bought a second desktop computer from Computer Corner. They are very knowledgeable at this store. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a computer. They are very professional and have great customer service.

Took my mothers computer in there for an operating system issue. Got it back in a few days repaired. Hooked it back up at her house and it still had the same issue. Took it back and they hooked it up and seemed to work. Brought it back home and it was somewhat working. A few days later we started smelling a burning smell and it wouldnt power on. So she just didnt use it for awhile. Fast forward a few months. My father passed away and all of his financial information was.......you guessed it, on the computer. Took it to a data recovery specialist and repair shop to find out that indeed it needed a power supply. He hooked up a power supply and it booted right up, only to find out there were no files left on it. Apparently instead of finding the issue and fixing it at CC, they wiped it clean and just reinstalled the OS without backing up the files. All the pics and information on it just gone. We will never take anything there again.

I have needed an updated home computer for a few years now, and working from home like so many other people at this time required that I upgrade now. Dusty built me a custom computer for me last year. He made me an awesome powerhouse of a machine for some research Im doing. We selected each part based on a price/performance decision and he guided me through the whole process. The CPU was, at the time, the latest Ryzen Threadripper. It was really hard to find, and it took a while to get it delivered, but he stayed in touch with me the whole time. Once it came in, it was ready within a day (right on my birthday, BTW).

I came in with several questions regarding what equipment I need to meet our business needs. Dusty listened to my needs carefully, researched the best products to meet what we have to do. How nice it is to find a locally owned business with world class service. I have never written a review before because I have never been this impressed. First I spent two months sending my computer back and forth to the Best Buy Geeks service center in where ever maybe USA to finally get it back as broken as when i took it in. So much for that service contract I have been paying for.I took my laptop to Computer Corner where it was diagnosed in a day and the problem was not the mother board as the geeks insisted but a bios problem. Katelyn explained to me that I could spend a lot of money having her go through the process of fixing it and it still may not work. Thanks for just telling me that instead of running up the cost.The point,Katelyn knows her stuff inside out and the other techs who commented were almost as good.She advised me of all my options in a language I could understand.Then she gave me excellent advise on how to save a lot of money even though it was not in the stores best interest.Computer Corner has it figured out. These guys are awesome! I had a swollen battery on my Mac and stopped by 4 places (including Apple and Best Buy) to get help. I got none (was told there was nothing they can do). I came to this place and the guys helped me removed the back panel, properly removed and disposed/recycled the battery, and gave me lots of helpful tips for finding and replacing the battery. They were efficient, professional, and super friendly. They didnt try to sell me anything or pressured me into using their services. They also didnt withhold any information that could help me to replace the battery effectively on my own. Truly decent people who know what theyre doing and just want to help.

Hands down one of the best local business Ive had the pleasure of dealing with. Extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Computer corner wanted to charge me over $400 to replace a hard drive and do a data transfer. I Took my computer to a local shop in Rio Rancho that I highly recommend called Tech Nuts. I was informed nothing was wrong with with my hard drive other that a few corrupt windows files which they fixed. No data transfer, hard drive replacement or re-upload of the windows system was required. Computer corners technicians tried to get me for every dollar they could and charged a diagnostic fee as well as pulled out my hard drive and did not re-install it. Please, take your business anywhere but here! I would give ZERO stars if I could! Take your computer to Tech Nuts. They are very friendly and honest. Computer corner is a total rip off. Dishonest sales people and technicians. Please, I want my money back!

Very uncomfortable store to be in. You really feel like they dont wont you in there right when you walk in. Couldnt really see what they had they dont really let walk around inside.

Took my printer in because I got a piece of paper caught in it and couldnt find the piece causing the jamming. Dimintar was very helpful and fixed it at the counter.

Went in just before Xmas to purchase a gaming desktop for husband. Not being a gamer I had no idea what was important but Evan guided me thru the process and within 2/3 hours I had a customized computer to put under the tree. Came in at 330pm. Hard drive was fried. They offered to see whether it would be doable for them to restore the data and put it in a new hard drive for FREE, and then charged me if they were successful. Evan (I think) worked into the evening , and had my computer up and running by 11AM the next day.Took a little wrangling, and, certain inaccurate things were said initially, yet they bust tail to get my office back up and running. KUDOS

I went into Computer Corner because I was experiencing Windows 7 problems on my laptop. Turns out the hard drive was taking a dive. Evan helped me through the entire experience. I ended up purchasing a new laptop and Evan transferred my data and walked me through my new purchase. I listen to KKOB 77 and listen to the Computer Corner on Saturdays. My overall experience with Computer Corner has been very positive and I would recommend them for your computer needs.

My 5.5 year old desktop died and I needed to rebuild programs and data to the new PC.Thomas was terrific, calling me several times to keep me in the loop with his attempts to transfer data from the old HDD that was functioning at 1%. Im surprised by some of the bad reviews. Ive found them to be life savers for computer repair, and Ive bought a few items from them too. Im relatively tech savvy, but not a super expert. When Ive had problems over my head, theyve repaired them, explained everything to me, and the prices were pretty reasonable. I always recommend them to friends.

I was very happy with the added attention, and patience the service person gave me when explaining what was wrong with my laptop. Its rather old and apparently had a bad hard disk. The news could have been very bad and I had not backed up any of my files. I never even thought about that untill they asked me if I had my information backed up somewhere else!They explained in advance that I might possibly have lost everything because my laptop had been acting up for awhile, but that they had special software that can sometimes find information even on a failing hard disk.I was delighted when they told me they could find what they thought were most of my files - I still needed a new hard disk, but saving my stuff and talking to me about the process and the risks really made me feel like they treated me well.And now I know better. I will try to always back up anything important to me. I guess I didnt realize that I could lose all my important info, but anyway, if I ever need service again, Ill come back.

My desktop was freezing up continuously, so I took it to Computer Corner. Found out the hard drive was failing. The recommendation was to replace the computer rather than just the hard drive, as I could have other problems down the road. They didnt try to sell me a brand new computer, but instead talked to me and showed me several reconditioned units. The price on the one I chose was well within my budget, and they also had a reconditioned monitor. I was extremely happy with Evan, who walked me through everything he did to transfer all my data over to the new computer, and answered all my questions, and was extremely friendly and polite.Kudos to Evan and Computer Corner. Been with them for over 10 years, and will continue to use them for my computer needs.

These people stereotype customers. They refuse to help consumers who have purchased equipment or who have equipment purchased from their store. Poor customer service. They are extremly bias against hispanic customers. Even though their buisness is in the State of New Mexico. Witnessed them treat anglo customers with curtesy service versus how they treat hispanics. Do not recommend this store for the hispanic public. Rude service.Refuse to help with warrantee issues. No star should be given. New Mecico avoid these people.

Ive had work done here on different computers before, mainly for viruses. I took my sons laptop here a couple months back, the hard drive had gone out. A few days ago, the new one went bad. Total fluke. Evan, in service. Called me back, and said it was done...I owed nothing.. He even replaced it with a better quality HD this time...Absolutely top notch...

As one of the owners of Computer Corner, It bothers me to read reviews like Tom Womack has posted. First he writes anonymously when all he had to do was call me and tell me about this incident. Yes, we recycle computers, but that does not mean we sell them on craigs list. . How does he know it was his on craigs list? If you can send me the ad or tell me who the tech was, I will take immediate action on this. Otherwise its hard to believe anything you said. If we lied and stole, we would not have been in business this long. Come on, treat people with respect and report directly instead of using this type of venue.

I only give one star because there are none lower. Bought a laptop there (big mistake) it has been in for repairs three times. I asked for a different laptop or a refund was refused. Service was terrible. My advice go elsewhere#

Had my office desktop fail to boot when I got back from holiday break. Called and was told to bring the machine in, that there would be a $25 fee to diagnose the issue and that once diagnosed, a quote would be given. Took it in on Monday, was called on Tuesday with the report that the power supply had failed and that the hard drive was going--(bad sectors) and that the machine would be ready by Friday. Was called Friday and told it was ready, picked it up and it worked perfectly (almost!--and heres why Ill go back to CC any time I have a computer issue---). Called in and explained what the issue was--(machine wasnt sharing files on my network) and was patiently walked through to a total resolution of the glitch. I have what amounts to a new computer for about 1/3 of what a new one would have cost. They told me what I needed, did what they said they would do, and then provided great follow-up. Im a fan.

BEWARE! I asked for a EVGA psu, said they were out. I told him I needed at least 650 watts, I need to mount it fan up and exhausting out . He asked for more detail. I told him my psu is part of my cooling system. I need it to pull air from the inside, and blow it out the back. He said the Corsair would Do exactly what I need. I told him again what I needed, just to double check. He confirmed.Well, it is a zero rpm fan. That means it never spins up at all. Unless, the inside temp of the psu hits 110 and it might spin up. So my machine will need to catch fire, then the psu fan will spin up.They wont return it, and they wont replace it with I told him my psu is part of my cooling system. I need it to pull air from the inside, and blow it out the back. He sold a PSU that does not do what I asked for and claimed that it does exactly what I asked for.They think I should redo my cooling system. And I am, because I HAVE NO CHOICE!I ordered some new parts online. I did not want to explain Positive pressure and Negative pressure. If I wanted to move my water cooler and replace and add fans. I would have designed my cooling system that way to begin with. Now I am working around a PSU that I was told would do something it does not.Not a big deal right? Who expects their PSU Fan to spin? The product was bought because the salesman said it did something, and it does not. Bottom line. I should get a refund, or exchanged for something that works like I asked for to begin with.Guitar Center could teach these guys about customer service.

I walking in the store to talk about a simple process to be done on my computer, guy kept interrupting me and was kind of a jerk about it. Just flat out said data transfer is $80..... That wasnt what i needed to ask him but he didnt care. Hate this place. Instead went to ABQ computer repair and they were able to answer my questions afterward and ACTUALLY listened to what i needed.

Brought my laptop that wouldnt turn oh here. The person at the service counter was very rude. I left my laptop here and payed them to trouble shoot it. I got a phone call a few days later and all they would tell me is that it was dead and tried to get me to talk to a sales man about replacing it. When I tried to ask questions about what exactly was wrong with it and what caused it to not turn on anymore, he wouldnt give me a straight answer. I think that I will get a second opinion!

Asked service department to troubleshoot my Epson printer that I, a professional artist and business owner, needed in my work. Laughed at the many possibilities that could be the error and would not discuss the problem further. Must not need the work.

Took a computer in with a possible fan problem. They ignored me, checked for malware instead and insisted I didnt have an anti virus program (which I did). $170 later I had all of my anti malware and anti virus programs removed and their anti virus put on, only for the problem to continue and get worse. I took the computer back where they proceeded to tell me the motherboard and hard drive were bad and I needed to take it to PROFESSIONALS to get it fixed!! When my step father went to pick up the computer he commented on the shitty service and they threatened to call the police on him!

Took my external connection to get replaced. Tech found a problem.fixed in minutes and did not pressure me to purchase something I didnt need. Will go back and do biz w them in the future.
