I just spoke to the nurse, Susan Early, at Chelwood Elementary School to set up an appointment for a vision and hearing screening for my daughter who attends a private school here in Albuquerque. This nurse informed me in a very nasty tone that THIS IS THANKSGIVING WEEK and wouldnt be able to see my daughter until Monday of next week. I am well aware of todays date and the holiday that is on Thursday of this week and do not need to be alerted to this fact. I am astonished that an elementary school nurse, whose objective is to HELP children, would speak to a parent this way. I am again absolutely disgusted by the Albuquerque Public School system.

Its a great school in fact I love it there! They protect there students I used to go there its a great place!😤 All of u are haters

My baby girls teacher is great, loves what she does. Over all the school is horrible, so unorganized and I cannot believe how they run this place. They do not know how to protect their students either!

To the parent whose daughter was getting a screening, if your daughter goes to private school why was she getting a screening done at a public school? If public school isnt good enough for your daughter then she shouldnt receive ANY services that public schools offer.

This school has been disappointing. My son keeps coming home with scrapes, and injuries. No one tells me anything. Communication is poor. No One seems to know whats going on there, and its like playing a game of go-fish trying to get documentation or answers. Im most displeased with their lack of concern for their students well-being.

THERE IS A CHILD MOLESTER THAT LIVES DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET IN THE APARTMENTS FROM THIS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. PLEASE KEEP YOURCHILDREN SAFE 😢😢😢😢😢😢
