This school is the bomb I went here since kindergarten and I couldnt of done the middle school transition with out them. The principal is boss and is on top of it. All the teachers are great and the majority of the kids are really cool. They have a good homework amount which got me ready for Eisenhower. Their gifted teachers are BO$$. This is my home away from home. They didnt teach us to fly though which is a down side

Ive been at this school since 1st grade- now in 7th grade. This school is absolutely amazing and every day was a blast. Mrs. Ross and Mrs. Moses were probably my favorite teachers Ive ever had in my life. They prepared me amazingly, taught us a lot, and made it fun at the same time.Mr. Vermillion was great at handling conflict and running the school; he was a very good principal. Thank you!

SY Jackson is an excellent school! The teachers, staff and principal are so involved with the children and community! They are always finding ways to improve and personally, I feel that this school is the best of the best for elementary education!! The teachers spend time with the students, communicate with me as a parent, are always available if I have questions and help me- help my kids with taking them to that next level of learning! The teachers make learning fun, which I think is KEY with this age group. The principal genuinely loves what he does and you can see that day in and day out. The staff is always friendly and very helpful! All in all, I give this school an A+ in each category! Keep up the great work SY Jackson!!!!

Wasnt a good for my kids the principal dose not deal with conflict. We had to trans fer both my kids out. And some of the teachers were not good or trained .would not recommend that school.

As we are all Freshmen at EHS right now, we believe this school helped us get the foundation we need for making the hardest transition of all, Elementary school to middle school. Two of us came here late, one in 2nd, one in 3rd. One of us were bullying victims over at Inez, but when we both came here we were instantly welcomed by the great students, staff, and principles. The custodian is awesome, and very friendly as well. Who wouldve knew! For anyone looking for a school in NE ABQ heights, this is the one. It also offers plenty of extra curricular activities that are minimal to no price and can well prepare any kid for the years to come. Thank you, and we will continue supporting this school.
