I started therapeutic riding in 2019 following the loss of my mom. I was partnered with Cinnabar. Like all of the horses at Enchanted Equine Adventures, Cinnabar is very sweet and entertaining. While being near the horses, I become present and calm and have gained skills that can easily transfer to everyday life. I would recommend EEA to anyone interested in riding and horse care.

My kids have been taking lessons with Kendra at Enchanted Equine Adventures for a year and a half now. They have had a wonderful experience learning about riding and horse husbandry. Kendra is great working with kids of all ages (and adults too). Kendras rates are very affordable also. We will continue taking lessons with Kendra for many years to come.

This is a wonderful organization for riders of all ages. Kendra gives educational, relaxed lessons with lots of positive reinforcement. Her horses come first always. It is a joy to be there whether you are riding or not.

My kids (14 & 8) took lessons together at EEA and really enjoyed it. They learned a lot in a short time about riding safely and horse care. It was an invaluable experience for them. Kendras lessons are a good combination of being fun and structured. I highly recommend checking out a lesson while enjoying the beautiful South Valley of Albuquerque.

Kendra has the rare ability to quickly assess each riders’ abilities and challenges, and make the experience safe and rewarding for all. We went there for a Girl Scout troop badge. Our girls had such varied abilities and experiences, it was wonderful to see them all enjoy their experiences so much.

Kendra is an amazing instructor, very knowledgeable and patient, who puts the comfort and well being of her students above all else. She also has amazing horses, and is very accommodating of my disabilities.

We have been going here for weekly horseback riding lessons for my 8 year old daughter since July. We live about thirty minutes away but its an easy drive and totally worth it. Kendra is a patient, kind-hearted instructor who laughs easily and is clearly comfortable working with children. She and my daughter hit it off immediately, which is unusual for my daughter. Kendra includes my daughter in every aspect of caring for and preparing the horses for riding, including grooming, saddling and bridling, and cooling them down after the workout. Her horses are gentle and friendly; they are clearly well cared for and socialized to be comfortable around all kinds of riders.The space is really sort of magical. Its in the bosque, quiet and peaceful, with trees surrounding the paddock and the small riding arena. I sit within the paddock and watch my daughter ride, and horses come up to be to sniff me and be petted. I enjoy the experience of being there and away from my responsibilities just for an hour of being outdoors and around these sweet animals. My daughter has learned so much in the last four months and is bonding with a particular horse named Pony. Its a wonderful thing to witness.

Enchanted Equine Adventures is an incredible organization that allows young, old, disabled and abled-body riders to participate in lessons. What sets EEA apart from traditional lessons is that riders are taught about the care and biology of the horses as well as how to ride, so it’s all-encompassing. Kendra Loring is passionate about what she does and her horses are our absolute favorite! I have complete trust in EEA to take care of my children while around the horses and as a parent, I feel like I have learned alongside my children during their lessons. We love EEA!
