I have been training under Dave Binder for over 10 years now. Im so excited he has opened up his own school. Im a 44 year old professional and I love the fact that I can train hard and still go home with no injuries. I highly recommend anyone (adults or kids) come by and check his place out. (yes that is me in the tie rashguard!)

Dave Binder is one of the best kids coaches I have ever come across. He is excellent at keeping the kids motivated and on task. He also understands that things cant be business all the time and the kids have a whole lot of fun.Dave Binder is also extremely knowledgeable in BJJ and translates that knowledge into great explanations and a wonderful learning environment. You cant go wrong training under Professor Binder.

I have known David Binder for 10+ years. We trained together for most of those years. He is a great person, training partner and instructor. I had about 2 hours of practice ofBrazilian Jiu Jitsu under my belt when I called, tested, and joined Binder BJJ. I love going there. David Binder and the coaches foster a deep sense of community, patience, inclusion, and fun. Its very clean with an emphasis on safety and respect for sparring and drilling partners. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who is interested in exploring the activity in the name.

Binder BJJ is a phenomenal place to begin or continue your BJJ training. The school owners, Dave and Jessica Binder, are committed to providing a world-class facility and excellent instruction. The gym provides a warm, friendly environment and is kept in impeccable condition. The instruction on the mats is phenomenal. Dave meets his students where they are and recognizes that not every person is trying to win a world championship. Classes are fun, but also challenging and engaging. The team is another great aspect of the school, everyone is welcoming and happy to share their knowledge.

Super welcoming and friendly to beginners and kids! Have been going for about a month now and would definitely recommend for anybody interested in learning Jiu jitsu. Dave is super knowledgeable, great teacher. Everybody else there is welcoming and friendly across all the ranks. More laid back atmosphere than most other gyms/dojos.

Great place to enhance your grappling skills. Initially drawn to the laid back and welcoming atmosphere plus the fact you can wear multiple color gis. The school offers both gi and no gi classes. Upon training found this place to be a gem. Professor Binder is an awesome instructor and shows those little details that make transitions and movements that much more smooth. Enjoyed training here very much while in Albuquerque.

This is a lab, a lab for elite grappling and wonderful people to come together and share knowledge.
