These guys are great! Helped my kiddo overcome his fear of water. Clear and consistent lesson plan with safety in mind. Friendly staff, very clear communication, clean facilities… I had as much fun as my 17-21 month old. Thank you, SwimLabs!

We are overall not happy with Swim Labs. Our child received about 8 minutes of hands on training in a 30 minute class. The other 22 minutes he sat on the step waiting for his turn. The staff is not very friendly or accommodating.Your response to my review is precisely why we no longer come to Swim Labs. Unprofessional

We have been attending for a few months and my girls LOVE their lessons!! Class sizes are small and in just the few months we have been attending they have learned a lot! The facilities are spotless and they have showers and very nice changing rooms. Staff is also wonderful and very helpful and accommodating!

We love SwimLabs. Our son, who is 13, has had a hard time adapting to the water his whole life. Our amazing SwimLab instructor, Casey, helped our son get over his fears within the 1st and 2nd swim lessons he took.Casey is kind, patient, and gives our son a perfect balance of training and fun. He is grinning from ear to ear after every session he has with her. After only 2 months our son has shown so much improvement that he is not only ready to conquer the swimming pool but he also has enough skill now to swim in the ocean (a family vacation we have wanted but never tried because of our sons fear of water). We are planning the trip now!!Thank you SwimLabs!!

We started lessons here about three months ago. We have experience with the other facilities in town offering lessons and Swim Labs is the best Albuquerque has to offer by far. I would highly recommend this establishment. The staff is friendly and the place is always clean and welcoming. Look no further if you want to schedule swimming lessons, but hurry, I know they will fill up quickly.

As a long time high school teacher, I have to tell you how much we love and appreciate this place. Our (almost) 4 year old has been there since they first opened and the amount of self-confidence and and swimming ability he has gained is tremendous! I have always felt safe there, both for myself in the waiting area and for my son in the pool with his instructor, Camden (great teacher!).We just received an email from SwimLabs (which prompted to write this) detailing his progress in the class, complete with tasks and skills hes accomplished as well as those that he still needs to work on. At the bottom was a personal note from his instructor...he loved it!

My wife and I really like this place. The staff is friendly and bubbly, exactly what our child responds to. Our child didn’t take well to their first instructor and the staff worked with us to quickly find an instructor they did well with. Our kiddo looks forward to class and frequently mentions the instructor by name. The facility is clean and manages COVID procedures well, while keeping classes fun and engaging for the kids. SwimLabs is one of the few places we’ve felt comfortable with during the pandemic.I would recommend SwimLabs to any parent looking to start their child in a learn to swim program.

My daughter has been going here for about six months without much progress. I was excited when they opened because I couldnt even get on the wait list at Fish Factory. Unfortunately theres at least one major difference between the schools. Fish Factory has three kids per class. Swim Labs has four. When you do the math, your kid is only getting seven minutes of lessons per class. We finally did get on the wait list at Fish Factory and will be moving there as soon as soon as we can. While it was fun for my daughter to go here, it was a waste of money as far as actual learning goes.

We moved here from Phoenix about a year ago. The classes were less crowded for about half the price. They barely spend any time with your kid. Most of the time, theyre waiting around for their turn. Will switch to the JCC this summer.

Kiddo had his first swim lesson today with Jarrod. Little one was upset, which is normal for not having been out in awhile due to Covid and shutdowns, along with being in a new environment.Swim labs is very clean and thorough on taking pre-cautions and doing the best they can with the Governor’s orders. The staff and especially Jarrod did an amazing job with our upset kiddo. We will continue to get our kiddo use to swimming and being in a new environment because it is important to us that he learns how to swim and he gets in an activity once-a- week. I like the classes too for his young age, which they are 30 minutes.Lexi(y) when I first called Swim Labs answered all my questions and was very personable and professional on the phone.I look forward to working with swim labs on helping my kid learn to swim because of their patience , cleanliness, personable, and professional staff.

This place is poorly managed on several fronts.First, they do not follow or enforce their own policies. Due to covid, only one parent is supposed to bring their kid to lessons. The waiting area is consistently overcrowded with entire families waiting for their kids. Its not unusual to have nowhere to sit and have to stand for 30 minutes if you dont arrive early.Second, they play favorites with their students. The manager knows some of the families personally and puts their kids in less crowded classes and excuses their kids misbehavior. Our son is five and was in a beginner class. Like other kids in the class, he was a little wild. He was diving for a toy when it wasnt his turn. I walked into the pool area on two occasions to tell him sit on the steps. Both times, the instructor said it was ok to play when it wasnt his turn for instruction. The manager later told me another parent complained that he was being a distraction and wanted him to take private lessons. I agreed that he shouldnt be playing and told her I would talk to him.I told him he could not play around when its not his turn. To sit on the steps and wait or else we would pull him out of lessons. He listened and did what he was told. I watched him during his lessons and asked the instructor after class how he did. I saw no misbehavior and she said he did well every time. After about six classes, the manager called and said she still wanted to move him to private lessons. She claimed he continued to misbehave, which is inaccurate. The only example she could provide was that he was jumping into the water. The only time he did jump into the water was at the end of class when his instructor had the kids take turns jumping in.We told the manager this, but she insisted that he take private lessons or disenroll. At this point, it was apparent that it was no longer about our sons behavior. We believe she told another parent she would move him out of the class then felt obligated to follow through.Edit: In reply to the managers reply, what shes saying simply is not true. Our son attended six lessons after we talked to him. He went twice a week for three weeks. After every lesson, we asked his instructor (Bailey) how he did. Every time she said he did well and followed her directions. That is consistent with the behavior we observed. When the manager called my wife, she said he could take private lessons or else she could issue a refund. Those were the only choices she gave. So the dishonesty continues.

Yikes! They really pack them in here. Both in the swimming pool and the waiting room. Between staff, parents and kids, I counted 56 people in this tiny building. How is this being responsible during a pandemic?
