High Noon BJJ is honestly the best school Ive trained at. The coaches really care about each students progress, and try to help you improve and reach your goals. Everyone there is really nice and friendly, no egos. I can really see a lot of improvement in my game, since I started training here. This place has something for everyone, whether your a beginner, or looking to step up your game for competition. I would definitely recommended High Noon BJJ to anyone! OSS!!

High Noon BJJ and Fitness has a clean and welcoming facility. The trainers here are knowledgeable, patient, and chill. This is an open family environment where I feel that my 6 yr old child is safe, learning, and being pushed to his full capacity. On Sundays parents are encouraged to train with their children, and it truly is an amazing workout. My son loved seeing me get on the mats with him. Ive done BJJ before and as a woman I have always hated being on filthy mats or picking up a lot of loose hair from previous clients, but at High Noon the matts were exceptionally clean. The music was child friendly as well. Lastly, the environment was welcoming to its guest. Highly recommend this gym to anyone looking to get in shape with low impact to previous injuries and or looking for good healthy family activities.

High Noon is a fantastic gym run by two great instructors and friends. After my old gym suddenly closed, the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth and I wanted to take a step back from BJJ for a bit. However, Matt and Tim worked quickly and carefully to provide a new home for me and our other displaced teammates. Im extremely grateful and proud to train at this great facility under their banner. Classes are challenging yet welcoming and beneficial to all skill levels and I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who may be interested. Ive been training BJJ for nine years and Im excited to be a part of High Noon BJJ.

This place is awesome! Tim and Matt has created a fun but hard working environment. I have been able to focus on my competition and athletic needs while having fun. This place has a great balance of competition focus but also working with students individual goals. Whether getting into shape, learning, as a hobby or competition this academy has it all.

This past week, I have had the honor to have Professor Matt Miller visit my school in DIberville, Mississippi, American Martial Art Academy - JiuJitsu & Fitness. He is a down to earth and genuine person. He has provided great insights into my tactics and techniques after our matches. He is a top level coach and instructor. Do not miss the opportunity to learn under him.

This place has world champion led instruction, dank memes, S&C, and an unparalleled adult wrestling class Sunday at 11AM. Much like mentor Daves school was (may he RIP), this school is very welcoming to beginners, but is also a magnet school for wayward colored belts. People who started out at more traditional schools end up here, because there is no weird cult nonsense or frivolous customs, just high quality grappling with friends.

The gym has everything that you could want; a friendly, tight knit, and welcoming atmosphere, plenty of mat space, a lobby with a television to keep children occupied (while you train), a strength and condition program individually catered to your needs, a large group of active competitors (if thats your thing), high level black belts under David Jacobs teaching and training on the mats, a morning class, a large student body consisting of higher ranked belts - and beginners too, and very reasonably priced and competitive tuition. Instruction is top notch - they dont throw random techniques at you - instruction flows naturally from one lesson to the next with themes being implemented consistently. The schedule offers gi and no gi (heel hooks allowed) training. They even have a wrestling class on Sundays. Come train! 👊

Tim and Matt are not only good Jiu-Jitsu instructors, but they are also good people. Its enjoyable to learn from them as instructors as well as know them as individuals. They are friendly and tough, and their classes are just like them. The team is very close, yet they are welcoming to everyone. They will push you to greater heights and support you in every way. I learn and improve not only because of the great coaches but also the great training partners.I love training at High Noon BJJ & Fitness because of the culture and atmosphere, the coaches and the team. I would recommend training here to anyone.

I travel for work and like to train on the road, so when I found myself in the area I stopped by to visit High Noon; and let me say that if you live in the area, or are visiting, this is an excellent place to train at! The level of Jiu-Jitsu here was really high and the instruction was excellent. Im a white belt and, for the class I attended, one of the owners (who is a high level blackbelt) paired up with me, gave me great feedback, and conceptually broke down the moves for me very well. If you ever do drop-ins (specially as a white belt), you know thats unheard of! This to me alone speaks volumes about the gym and the culture there. After the class I was welcomed to come back whenever I was in the area. The facility is also really cool and probably one of my favorites that Ive seen!In short, if youre looking for a place to train, I highly recommend High Noon, you cant go wrong with them!

As a woman starting bjj, its been very difficult to find a space that I feel comfortable learning something completely new in. However this gym has been great so far, Ive never felt singled out or uncomfortable and theres a decent amount of women who attend classes regularly. I appreciate the coaches teaching styles as they make the best use of class time to hone in on the techniques being taught that day and are always happy to help you troubleshoot the move.

Welcoming and friendly in a technique and hard work driven atmosphere. I dropped in for a class while in the annandale area run by instructor Tim Dawson, who was great at explaing the class techniques, and instructing through the subtle adjustments. Mats, workout and waiting area were clean, organized and presentable. I would recommend anyone living in the DC area interested in Brazilian jiu jitsu to check this location out.

Tim and Matt are class acts and are the legacy of the late David Jacobs. This is the best high level Jiu Jitsu in the area! As far as the fitness side, the Forces were the heart of the old Outlaw Crossfit and DEFINITELY know their stuff. You cant go wrong signing up here no matter what youre looking for.

High Noon is one of the friendliest academies in the Northern Virginia area. Tim Dawson and Matt Miller are highly technical instructors who teach effective material in a manner that anyone can understand. The location is easy to find and the facilities are clean and well maintained. Their strength and conditioning classes are challenging. I like the music played during class. The classes themselves are run at a good pace which will leave you feeling like youve worked hard by the end. The students are friendly and willing to work with new people. Everyone there stands for everyone elses success. They have captured the essence of jiu jitsu and Id strongly recommend anyone to train here.

One of the most comfortable atmospheres I’ve ever experienced in the world of jiu jitsu, this academy offers a great place to train for all folks from every facet of life. Tim and Matt (owners/head coaches) are not only experienced in providing excellent jiu jitsu instruction, but also ensuring everyone who’s steps into their academy feels welcome, safe, and satisfied with their experience while present.
