My first time here was for my bachelorette party. My bridesmaids took me here for a private hip hop dance class. There was an instructor and his assistant and they taught us a simple and fun dance since most of us didnt dance. It was such a fun way to celebrate getting married.Then a couple months later when I moved to Alhambra, I decided to take their adult hip hop class since my first experience there was so fun. I also thought it would be a fun way to stay in shape. It was a lot more advanced, which I liked and the instructor was very good at teaching the steps. He makes sure that all of us can follow along and we still get a good amount of choreography done.My adult hip hop class is quite popular and the room is always filled. They should make another class available!

Im currently taking dance classes at JAYVEE Dance Center and I love it there! My dance teacher Ms. Norma Perez teaches us fun routines for hip hop beginners level. I would recommend everyone who wants to take dance classes to come here. :)

I took ballet and jazz last summer and they were both great classes. The instructors were really good and gave each dancer the attention they needed. They also helped a lot with dance techniques and strength to do them. I loved it and I would definitely recommend!

My daughter had lesson for 2 yrs. Basically, the way teaching is so much different depends on an instructor. Few instructors are great but I dont understand how come some teacher dont know how to handle young toddler for ballet. The class is No fun, Too strict, not enough courage for kids. Definitely it is not kids friendly for toddler group.normally, no communication with parents if it is not necessary for final recital.For the front desk, there is very rude lady. Her attitude always very rude and simple. Needs to be improved.However, final recital always turns out good compare to tution. Hopefully they can have better balanced service and programs.

This dance center is awesome, there are classes for all ages from kids to adults! Facilities are clean and there are several dance rooms with large mirrors.If youre looking for hip hop, yoga, zumba, what have you - they probably teach it! Check it out, I definitely recommend this place for people of all ages looking for an active activity to do.

Jayvee is such a great school. My daughter really came out of her shell. Mr. Marc is an awesome teacher that encourages the dancers which I think is important. It is a real family unit with great parent support!!!!

My 6 year old daughter is taking a hip hop class here for the first time. She loves it! Miss Norma has high energy and makes it fun for all the kids! She even gives them little stickers at the end of class. We are going to continue for the next session in hula. Its a little pricey compared to other dance classes in the community, but my little one has never been so excited about a class. ($35 registration fee annually plus the cost of the dance class itself.)

My sister and I took streetease dance classes here and loved it! We looked forward to learning new dance moves every week. The instructors are so talented and sweet, they love what they do and make sure you have a good time doing it! Perfect place to go to have fun and feel comfortable in your skin while learning a new form of exercise; only encouraging, uplifting experiences here.

Great school, When I email them with questions they respond within the same day. Also if my lil one misses a dance class, they let her make up a class within that week no problem. I am so happy I have this Dance center in my community!

I took the Streetease Dance class with Joanna and she was awesome. She does a great job of explaining the dance moves and you leave there knowing a dance routine. She also encourages you to get in touch with your feminine side.

My kids have taken hip-hop and street classes there and positive experiences with the facilities and instructors. Also the shows they put on are great experience for the kids to get stage experience and presence.

I took the pole fitness class and loved it! I highly recommend taking Laura Langwasser. I would definitely enroll into another class.

Jayvee is a small studio in Alhambra that holds the most talented and dedicated dancers. Their instructors are very committed to teaching their students the best material needed to grow as a dancer. They have classes for all types of dance from beginners to advanced. Not only is Jayvee a place for dance, but they are a place that teaches kids how to grow as a person and have respect not only for others but also for yourself.

The location is close to home. The instructors are nice and skillful. I enjoy my classes.

I started with JV since I bought a Living Social Deal for a total of 6 classes. I was under the impression that Joanna would be the instructor and the first day it was a sub and so was the next week only to find out she would be the replacement for the remainder of the classes. I was not very happy with this since I wasnt learning anything from the sub. I explained this to the admin desk there and they let me wait until the next round when Joanna was instructing again, it was a great experience only I wish I could get the 2 classes back that went to waste...

I now take jazz classes here with Jordan. I have danced with her before and was happy to move to Jayvee when she moved. I like their faculty and staff. It has been great fun to dance at Jayvee.

I feel like the place gets too crowded sometimes and its hard to get through to the class rooms but overall Ive enjoyed my experience at Jayvee the have very dedicated teachers and are passionate at what theyre doing.

I took a class here and it was great! Very fun atmosphere.

The truth they dont mind teaching children to dance , the only thing that matters is how to get money from parents, my daughter was 2 years with them but the good thing I found a cheaper place , and make you feel like family.

I have just started my classes at Jayvee a week ago, and I absolutley loved it. Dancing at Jayvee makes me want to learn more, and dance more. I have a great time starting classes there, and I will hopefully continue to enjoy it!

Jayvee Dance is AWESOME! I like that it has classes for kids and adults. Sometimes at the same time, so while kids are in class, the adults can get an exercise in their Zumba classes. They really care for the kids and set them up for success in everything in life, not just dance. Whether you want to go here so you can become a professional, back-up dancer, or you just want to dance within the dance community, or are here for just exercise Jayvees got it!And the staff is super organized, helpful, and just really there for you. Thanks Jayvee!

Ive been going to Jayvee for almost 6 years. I love Streetease and Kimmay! Not only I get to learn some moves, at the same time, I get to exercise and enjoy good company! I highly recommend Jayvee if you want to take any of the classes, or have your kids learn how to dance!

@ying xin zhang first of all im in a competition group at the studio & we are not rude at ALL . second ALL of our teachers put in so much effort in teaching us how to be better dancers . so maybe you shut YOUR MOUTH & GROW UP .

Teacher and staff are very rude, they all have an attitude. but you can be one of them if you are a snob as well. good luck. oh btw, they dont care about YOU, your growth in dance, they care only MOney. just a commerical studio. there isnt any staff will actually stay there very long, r=teacher chaning rapidly .
