We have had nothing but positive experiences with Aliso Viejo Kumon. Ms. Angel and her staff are communicative and flexible with us, and patient and understanding with our kids. The staff have been able to work with our learners who are very different from each other. Both the in-person and online learning have been successful. Highly recommend!

I started Kumon around four and did it until seventh grade. During that time I went to about five different centers and by far Ms. Angel’s was the best. The center really focused on motivating us and making the work fun while also accelerating us past the schools track. I felt a lot more confident in school and excelled soley because of Kumon. Honestly, I think it’s only because of this center that i’m doing so well in school and am comfortable taking AP classes. I definitely recommend this center to anyone looking to help their child to not only feel more confident in their academic abilities, but also looking to prepare them to easily work at the top of their academic class.

Awesome place to learn the basics of math and reading, which will translate easily into critical analytical and reasoning skills in school. Will recommend so that your child can attain a jumpstart in school by attending this academy!

My children have been attending the Kumon center in Aliso Viejo for the past 7 years. Kumon gives them the tools to learn new concepts in school faster and gives them confidence in their work. Ms. Angel and her teachers cater to each individual child and go above and beyond to ensure they understand their work and are moving at a comfortable, progressive pace. We are so grateful for Ms. Angel and her staff (especially during the pandemic). They are truly invested in each child and make them feel so proud of their work and accomplishments. If you are looking for a learning center for your child to get ahead and receive a solid foundation in math and reading, I highly recommend the Kumon Center is Aliso Viejo! Both my kids went here for many many years. They both started going to Kumon with Ms. Angel Ko in Aliso Viejo when they were 3 (they are 6 and 10 now). Our experience has been beyond wonderful.As my kids progressed in the program, they were assigned different teachers along the way, and the teaching method also evolved making them gradually more independent. The one thing I loved the most about this center was how Ms. Angel individually monitors every student and never misses the opportunity to discuss specific details of progress with parents. She makes very good suggestions to help parents and students make the most of the program, and is very understanding during times when kids fall behind in homework due any number of reasons.This center periodically holds award ceremonies and the kids love these events as they are encouraged to reach higher levels and receive recognition for their hard work. The staff is also just amazing, always welcoming, very understanding, and stays on top of assigned work and homework packets.Our family had to move during the pandemic away from Aliso Viejo and after we discussed this with Ms. Angel she offered to mail us the packets for several months free of charge in addition to accommodating our schedule for online zoom classes. During the onset of the pandemic, they were quick to adapt to online learning and executed it perfectly without dropping a single session and still maintaining the same level of focus on my kids math and english learning. Overall, we were very happy to be a part of Kumon AV family for over 7 years.

Ms.Angel provides students with a valuable learning experience and helps them develop good study habits such as sitting up straight and focusing on the task at hand. The math exercises in particular help improve students speed in calculations. The staff are eager to assist with questions and love to see the kids improve.

My son’s math skills has really improved. Ms Angel is very helpful and I’m glad I have enrolled my son in Kumon. I highly recommend it for every kid.

This Kumon center that I have been going there over past 6 years is the best one in Orange County. Both my children are so happy and being A+ students in their school.

Both my kids have benefited so much from Kumon Aliso Viejo! Miss Angel is a very organized, encouraging and caring leader. She really cares that my kids do well. Communication is great and the staff she hires to tutor and welcome the kids are wonderful as well. Miss Renae, is always there to greet Daniel with a smile and helps answer any questions. She even made sure to put aside a peanut free Halloween candy bag for him! Because of Kumon math both my kids are happy to do there school math because they are always ahead. They have confidence that they would not have if it weren’t for Kumon. My son is also in the reading programs and loves to read all the time.And when Covid hit , I could not be more impressed! They made sure the kids always had safe access to their Kumon lessons and tutoring sessions. I highly recommend Kumon Aliso Viejo!❤️😁👍🏻

Kumon Aliso Viejo is a great center to learn or supplement current Math and Reading skills. We are very happy with the great and kind instructors, environment, and the method of teaching. The instructors encourage students to have confidence in what they have learned, while challenging with strategies to acquire new and future skills. They make learning a pleasant experience. My daughter has been in this program for about 1.5 years now and is always very enthusiastic about completing her lessons! She loves Kumon and cant say enough great things about this program. We are looking forward to enroll our now two years old son as soon as hes age eligible.

Kumon has been an exceptional foundation for our children for the past several years. Not only does it help kids stay ahead at reading and math and build their confidence, it has helped build life skills in time management, quick thinking, self-discipline and perseverance. The staff at Kumon Aliso is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated, and truly care to help steer each child’s progress.

My daughter has been here almost 5 years. The teachers are all kind and helpful. Thanks to Kumon, she is two years advanced math level, that makes her easy to study at school.

My son has been there over one year. they have been helping him with his math and language. his math and reading level are much higher than his Montessori school level. he is not even in kindergarten and his math and reading level are like a second grade student. so glad he has a good foundation.

Kumon has helped me a lot. They let you review and make sure you understand the lessons well. Except, it is a waste of time, but it is very beneficial.
