We started coming here in 2009 with our oldest who is now a second degree Black Belt and continuing our patronage with our youngest child that has recently achieved his Black Belt promotion.

My 7year old has been with NTA for over 2 years and has gained great skill, discipline and is having so much fun working his way up the belt ranks. He is very determined to be a black belt!We had tried another place before this one and he was bored after 6 weeks. NTA keeps the kids engaged and incorporates fun skill based games to keep the kids from getting bored while still teaching them the correct form and skill. We love this place!

We have been going to NTA for 2 years and my son who is now 7 has grown in so many ways. He loves going and they make the classes fun. Master Park has a well rounded program and my son has learned to work toward a goal and achievement. They are teaching life long skills and making friends. Highly recommend this program. One of the best in the area!

My son has been doing taekwondo at NTA for nearly 4 years. Not only does he love the classes, but its been a great experience for him. We started with the introductory package that includes the uniform. He worked his way through all the colored belts and will be testing for his black belt soon.The teachers do a great job blending instruction and fun. They emphasize self control, focus, and accountability. But they also end every class with a fun game.When we went into COVID lock down last year, NTA was still able to provide instruction to their students with Zoom classes. When they opened back up for in person classes, they had excellent safety practices. I felt completely safe sending my son to his classes. Im very happy that he was able to keep active when other sports were closed.

The masters and all the instructors are engaged with the kids with patience and effort, and we like the good balance of learning and having fun each time.We are so glad to chose NTA amongst all the schools in the town. We also think they manage the class so well in this pandemic. We know this must be so challenging. We hope our son keeps his motivation and tries to perform his best!

We love National Taekwondo Academy! The studio offers a variety of class-times which is great for families with busy schedules. Classes have a very good student/instructor ratio, and its clear that all of the instructors have a genuine enthusiasm for the development of the students. My kids ages 8 and 10 have been in Taekwondo for 3 years now, testing for black belts next weekend. This studio is amazing! Master Park and Master Kim and all the instructors and staff are very supportive and encouraging. The classes are so well organized and fun. My kids have gained a ton of confidence over the years and are really enjoying their time there. The instructors are energetic, patient, and really go above and beyond to make sure that none of the kids are left behind. We love this place and highly recommend!

We LOVE National Taekwondo Academy! My son and 2 of his friends have been going here for almost 3 years! Master Park and Master Kim are excellent role models and teachers for our children. In addition, the entire staff is friendly and supportive. It is a positive environment which allows our children to grow and develop! I am 100% comfortable and confident recommending them! My daughter has been with NTA for 2 years now and loves coming here for all of her classes. All the instructors from Master Kim, Master Park, Mr. Moon down to all the Assistants are all friendly and professional. We love the curriculum as it not only teaches the students the art of Taekwondo but also instills a lot of values like respect, perseverance, confidence, sportsmanship & being goal oriented that they can carry on at home and in school. All classes are infused with a lot of fun and games that keeps the students engaged. Being in NTA has been a great motivation for my daughter and has helped her overcome her shyness. National TKD is an excellent studio for children of all ages to learn martial arts! My son has been attending classes for over 2 years now and he has yet to stray from his path of black belt. He loves all of the instructors, the studio is clean and friendly, and it has a great family vibe. Overall, National TKD is one of the best places for TaeKwonDo

I would definitely not recommend this Taekwondo school to my friends and family. I took, the seem to be a good deal, trial period for my kids. Then the tuition and expensive increases incredibly, especially the testing fees and the unnecessary different color uniform we had to buy continuously.Majority of the time, the kids are playing games not related to taekwondo which I think it was a waste of our money. Almost every week, we watch kids get hurt and not cared for properly, or kids quit the school. Classes are over crowded especially when the students get their red belt. Most of the instructors are just teenagers and lack of skilled help. I have nephews (at other schools) who learned Taekwondo better than NTA, and won silver and gold in the State and Nationals recently in sparring and poomsae. The Black Belt club is only a fake show and a way they can make more money.

The best taekwondo school in Aliso Viejo/San Clemente and surrounding cities. Master Park and Master Kim and all the instructors are amazing. My son is 9 years old and has been doing taekwondo for 4 years. He still goes there and has never lost his enthusiasm. He is a black belt and next year he will be a second degree black belt. NTA is almost his second address. He is happy, so we are happy.

NTA is great. I had researched many local martial arts studios and decided to give them a shot through a Groupon promotional offer. Best decision we could have made for our son, who has attended NTA for two years now. They have an excellent program for kids. Their curriculum is inclusive for all age groups and skill levels.Master Kim and the other staff are great at making the lessons fun and engaging for the younger kids, as well as challenging and modern for teens and young adults. Not only will your child learn the physical techniques of self defense, but also the values and life skills a parent wishes to impart on their kids such as discipline, respect, self-confidence, and perseverance.Since joining NTA, our son has gained self-confidence, which encourages him to be more independent and outgoing. He has improved at respecting and abiding our decisions. He has also become more disciplined academically, improving his grades, completing his homework and practicing extracurricular activities without mom and dad bugging him. All this is possible because the staff at NTA will work with parents as a team to help motivate your child to better themselves.This really is an honest review from an appreciative parent. My son is 10 years old and he started to attend NTA 2 years ago. From the begining, he loved to go NTA and still I can see the excitment on his face when its the time for NTA class. Master Park and his staffs are friendly and we are glad that we found this academy for my son.

National Takewondo (NTA) has been an incredible experience for my son. He started NTA two years ago as a trial member with minimal interest. Once he began classes his motivation for taekwondo quickly changed to excellent! He has been attending 2-3 times a week since then and is well on his way to becoming a black belt! I believe that this is all due to the fun and energetic instructors. They manage to teach taekwondo (and self defense), good values, and respect - in a completely safe and friendly environment. The kids absolutely love it. In fact, my younger daughter loved watching it so much, she couldnt wait to start - and she is now an Orange belt!
