Chris is a great teacher. My teenage son and I have been taking lessons with Chris for two years. Chris is knowledgeable, professional and fun. We have progressed rapidly in our playing. Keith has been a great instructor over the past year and a half. Hes helped me bring my guitar playing to a level that I would never have achieved on my own. I highly recommend him if youre looking for somebody that can work with you at your own pace, on the songs of your choosing.

Before meeting Keith, I had been a self-taught guitar player for about 6 years. I could play every song I dreamed of playing when I first started out, and most people regarded me as an intermediate/advanced player. The only thing still hampering my progression was my inability to understand guitar theory and a couple technique issues that I thought were permanently ingrained with my playing.Theory, to me, was a giant puzzle that I thought I would never be able to solve; an intricate, almost scientific world that was incomprehensible. However, after my first few lessons with Keith, I was already beginning to express myself in blues and rock music. After about a month and a half, I understood how the different modes are derived from the major scale and when to apply them. Over just a few lessons, my guitar playing improved exponentially, and I was finally able to express myself and put so much more emotion into my music.Along with the theory lessons, Keith also evaluated my playing technique every lesson. He gave me exercises and showed me more efficient ways to play the guitar. With his help, I have steadily improved my legato and picked speed.I must say, I am pleased with the way I have improved as a guitarist under Keiths instruction. If you are a beginner or advanced player, I highly recommend Keith; his teaching style and flexible lesson options really make the learning process fun and comfortable. A+!

Great place for lessons. My playing has improved considerably and I can attribute it back to the instructors knowledge of music theory which has really helped me see the fret board and understand how scales and chords go together which is what I had been missing for so long. Would highly recommend.

I had a crazy idea of learning to bass guitar at the ripe young age of 59. My goal was to have a 60th bash with a band and play a few songs with them at the party. Thanks to my wife who gave me my first month of lessons for my 59th. Chris, my instructor, was given the challenge of teaching an older guy something Id wanted to do since I was thirteen...play the bass guitar. Longer story short is he did it. Chris is a very patient, encouraging but precise teacher that helped me get started and nipped bad habits in the bud. I look forward every week for my lesson and have put much effort into practice which is the key to success. I had a great time playing with the band at my party and have done a guest appearance with the same band with another one scheduled. Playing the bass with the band, especially in one of our favorite wine bars, is a dream come true. Chris has helped me all the way with the best part, one of the greatest feelings on earth, playing music with your friends. Thanks Chris👍

I posted my review on Yelp as well. I wanted to post here as well because my experience has been great over the past few months.I had heard of Keith through a coworker and decided to look up his reviews on Google and Yelp. I found a few brief reviews that were very positive and honest. When I searched out his competition in the area I found a host of false reviews that were over-done and obviously written by a music teacher and not a hobbyist or student. I jumped in and Im glad I did.I have a very interestng skill set when it comes to guitars. I am short on fundamentals, but have a great range styles at my disposal. I enjoy percussive playing, flemenco, blues, jazz and heavy metal. Go figure. Keith loved it from the get go. If you see his videos on his website, youll figure it out that he is laid back and has fun with all kinds of music.Our focus has been on building a base in which I can graduate to real song writing. I feel like a child some days, but he provides a great material to help me drill it. I must stress that he provides a LOT of material that he has collected over his career in music. He especially likes using these scales and charts to help me with connecting the dots on music theory. You will graduate from a folder to a binder in less than a month.Thankfully Keith is not judgemental when I dont have time to practice. He encourages creativity and improvisation. He even took my electric guitar and spent hours dialing in an excellent setup on a guitar that was a mess. An ordeal I put myself in. I would have paid double what he charged me, and I tipped him accordingly.He does not create miracles. My results have been directly tied to my discipline and ability to set aside time to play.My experience over the past few months have been positive. Keith is very honest and has been flexible to say the least. If you want to learn, he is your man.
