Berktree Learning Center is wonderful! My son went from a D average to now getting As on his Algebra tests. It is great when he does his homework and tells me that it is easy. Kiana is amazing. She is so knowledgeable and patient and works very hard to make sure my son is completely grasping the concept and that he can do it correctly. We are so lucky to have her help!

I have been working with Kiana since 4th grade and I am now a college graduate. She has been such a big help throughout my academic journey and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is super professional and you can tell that she is very passionate about tutoring.

My child is graduating from 5th grade this year until the pandemic happened. She was stuck at home doing online schooling. We decided to try Berktree Learning Center to supplement her Math education. I feel that as a parent my child is a VIP in every session. She learned a lot of new things in just one sitting. Kiana makes her lessons easy to understand and every solution explained in detail that I wish I met a Math teacher like her during my grade school years. She is patient, accommodating, and knows the exact unique approach to each of her students. Also I have a very shy child. This is a family run tutoring center that puts your childs needs first. They truly care about creating the best results possible. The location is convenient and they always have flexible hours that seem to work well. I would highly recommend this tutoring center. I cant say enough great things about this place. The emphasis they put on tailoring the educational needs to the child and the subject matter is incredible. Kiana the owner thinks outside the box to do what is right for each and every customer that comes in. They are very flexible in scheduling and very accommodating when I had to change my normal time slot abruptly. I will be a long term client!!!

I have my son on a homeschool program. He wasnt doing very well. They have helped my son, given him tools to learn independently, how to look forward to college. They are awesome chess players, and have taught my son to play very well. It is structured, very family-oriented. I recommend them!

Long over due review! Berktree Learning Center was a great find during my daughters elementary school years for her reading and writing deficiencies. She was struggling with reading comprehension tests and had poor writing for assignments & tests.I discovered Berktree Learning after calling around & getting estimates for in-home tutors. Kiana Berkman was selected because of her kind, patient, & friendly demeanor with my daughter. My daughter was very insecure & lacked confidence in her reading & writing ability after being so unsuccessful since 2nd grade. Kiana & her tutors focused on getting my daughter up to speed within 6 months & shortly after began assigning my daughter with advanced, challenging & above grade level reading & writing assignments after each tutoring session. We utilized Berktree Learning Tree for 3 years, once a week for 1.5 hours. By the end of 5th grade, we decided to give my daughter a break from tutoring as long as she maintained As in her Language Arts classes in her 3 years of middle school which was no problem for her. My daughter became a strong & confident writer with Berktree Learning Trees help & guidance.My daughter has started back up again in Sepember 2019, now getting Accelerated Geometry tutoring with Kiana on a weekly basis. Kiana is helping her with geometry concepts, homework, test preparation & teaching the following weeks new material.If you are looking for a tutoring service who cares & works with you in developing the best academic plan for your childs needs, I highly recommend Berktree Learning Center. Our daughter (Kinder going to 1st grade) took reading and math lessons with Kiana over the summer. The best part about the lessons is actually learning from Kiana on how to teach/assist our daughter to read and do math (and how to keep it up!). My husband and I have learned so much from Kiana. One thing for sure, you cant rely on the school to teach everything. Parents involvement is definitely needed, especially for 1st grader.

Amazing tutoring place, I had a struggle with Algebra 2 from the beginning of the year I ended up failing the class but thanks to the staff at Berktree Learning center I now actually understand what is being taught in my math class.

We came to Berktree because my son started to struggle in semester 2 of high school algebra I and his grade had fallen to a C. With four months of tutoring from Katia at Berktree, he gained an A- on the final and a B+ in the course.It was such a good experience that we decided he would take geometry online, guided by Berktree. With Kiana’s instruction, he has maintained an A in the Brigham Young University online course with a couple months to go.My son is on the autism spectrum. Both Kiana and Katia not only have been great at explaining the concepts to him and keeping him on track, but they’ve been very patient and understanding of his quirks. Kiana, his current tutor, is flexible when we need to reschedule and even goes above and beyond, such as treating him to lunch for good work or staying late to talk with him on some of his favorite topics. I strongly recommend Berktree, not only for neurotypical kids, but also those on the spectrum or with unique learning styles.

One of the best advantages to BLC is that they are very felxible and have an array of opportunities for students. For instance they offered me many different programs and if i needed to they would of been willing to customize a plan for my needs. If i ever had problems understanding difficult concepts or equations the tutors would break down or relate them to things i can understand. Also they have a surprising amount of patients for difficult students( Personally i would go crazy if i were them). Ive been attending BLC for 2 years now, and i have never seen or heard one of the tutors disrespect or yell at their students. They always encourage us to learn and teach you the value of the learning process. They also advise their students and set a great example for us to become successful.
