Best dance classes my daughter has ever had. Teachers are very professional and really focus on technique and helping students to become better dancers. Highly recommend the conservatory!!!

I danced with Allen Civic Ballet and Conservatory of Dance for almost five years! Not only did I learn great technique, graceful movement, and receive a professional experience, but acquired other skills such as determination, discipline, and strength. All of the teachers are fantastic, and train you with the exact methods you need in order to become a professional.

My daughter has been a student for just over 1 year. I’ve seen how much she has grown in both her skill and passion for ballet. The teachers make it fun (she is 7), but also teach the proper disciplines needed to be a ballerina. The best part are the recitals. Instead of traditional recitals, the kids perform an actual ballet. I’ve already convinced one of my friends to switch to this studio, and they are having the same experience as me. My children have been taking dance lessons with the Allen Conservatory of Dance for 9 years and my two oldest are now Company members with Allen Civic Ballet. The attention to detail and technique the Conservatory teachers apply in each class, even if it means spending individual time with a single student, makes it worth every dollar. Their love for their students is obvious.My childrens love for dance, classical music and history have grown over the years because of the teaching style Stefanie Best adheres to in her school. I cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work.

The teachers here are very caring and knowledgeable, the company kids are very close as a family. We are more than happy to be here as part of the dance family and will recommend all our friends to come her to dance!

I was a student at the Allen Conservatory of Dance for 15 years. At this studio I was not only able to gain the technique and stamina to dance professionally, I gained lifelong friendships. At the Allen Conservatory of Dance, they focus on every aspect of each student becoming a true artist. They aide in developing proper technique and the artistry needed to connect with an audience. Through many years of training, hard work, and perfection; the staff aided me in landing a position with a second company in Kansas City. There is true professionalism here that focuses on helping the students achieve their goals, no matter how big. I recommend this studio to a range of people; those who just have a love of dance, and to those who have a desire to pursue a professional dance career.

I cannot say enough good things about this studio and their student company. I am an alumni of the studio and was a member of their student company for 3 years and I am now dancing professionally in Virgnia. The teachers and the atmosphere prepare you to step right into a college dance program or a professional company. They are one of the few studios whose focus is truly on classical ballet and its rigorous technique. I love going back to take classes over the years and I still stay in contact with the director and the teachers there. I am so thankful I had the opportunity to train there and would encourage everyone to try out a class!

I have loved dancing at the conservatory for five years now! Their classical training is as elite as it comes (for a very manageable price) and the repertory for the Allen Civic Ballet has been so diverse and fun to learn. Im glad I joined and got involved with my community and the greater ballet world in the process.

Allen Conservatory of Dance has an outstanding staff and teachers that do everything to meet the needs of their dancers. The teachers are talented, professional, friendly and caring. Everything you could hope for in a dance school, providing classical ballet, hip hop and modern, allowing options for everyone. Even after 8 years, I can’t imagine a better place for my daughter to grow in dance.

Allen Conservatory is FUN! The teachers don’t overwork the students. I don’t recall seeing any dance injuries. Yet the performances are elegant! Super professional outcomes, but with ease! The students are friendly, not competitive. And the teachers and staff are sweet.

This is an excellent place to learn the art of dance with a strong emphasis on classical ballet training. This studio is family oriented and seeks to improve the student overall as a person because they understand that dance can help people in other areas of life and can lead people to different career fields. They understand that academics are important and that dance is one part in developing the whole person. This studio has helped my daughter by allowing her to grow not only as a dancer, but as a good student academically. She has had increased confidence from relationships she has developed at this studio. Her confidence has also increased from the way she has learned the art of dance from the instructors at this studio. Ballet and a Contemporary dance is taught at this school with a focus on attention to detail and fine tuning these details. This studio teaches dance as a performing art and not as just as simple entertainment or exercise. With these things in focus, instead of competition and award winning, my daughter continually seeks ways to improve and better herself daily and this is apparent not only in her ability to dance, but in her school work, preparation for college, and plans for long term career goals.This is a great studio.

This is the absolute best place for classical ballet training. My daughters have been dancing here for almost 10 years and they have loved every minute! The teachers truly invest in the dancers every day and the performances are top notch. The time and attention give by teachers to every detail of the dancers technique and artistry is rare. We are so grateful to have found a home at Allen Conservatory of Dance where our girls can learn and mature as dancers under impeccable teachers.

The Allen Conservatory of Dance is an amazing Ballet school.The teaching philosophy is focused on technique. Ballet Basics is a great way to get fundamental ballet training for other forms of dance or sports. The school curriculum in ballet (classes beyond the basics) lays a deep and strong foundation for a lifetime of dance. The teachers are masters of their crafts and possess the rare ability to describe the intricacies involved in developing the proper technique without overwhelming the students or leaving them disheartened.I have also witnessed on numerous occasions that the teachers take notice of and care for the students as a person individually. For example, a teacher once spent a half-hour preparing a student for an interview by coaching that student on how to present himself confidentially and give a proper handshake.

Went to a casual Spring recital designed to showcase the entire company. Every performer was more than competent enough to represent their respective age group. Will definitely be attending the May showing of Swan Lake with niece in order to inspire her interest in ballet... she is going to need a physical outlet. Ive danced here for 10 years and growing I love all the teachers they are very kind and thoughtful everyone considers each other as family and the technic of the teachers is very up to date it is a very uplifting environment and if someone asked me were I went to dance I would be proud of my school

My daughter has taken ballet at several studios in several states for the past 9 years. She has progressed more in the past 18 months at Allen Civic Ballet than any of her past studios. We are more than pleased with the teachers and their passion and dedication to teach their students great technique!
