I stopped in the Music and Arts Store to kill some time. I was pleasantly surprised! I walked out with music books, a tuner, a harmonica book... all kinds of fun things at great prices! The clerk was extremely helpful too. Visit this store, you will love it!!!

Best music shop in the area! From the time I moved to Allen, Felipe has been more than helpful and really given me some insight to progress musically than I think I could have gotten anywhere else! Helped me out with a new electric and amp that I have absolutely been having a blast on! The sound quality is excellent for the price, and he gave me a quick run down on how to play with the settings for different sounds. Also helped me find a mic and interface that suits me best, which Im am so excited for when it arrives! Great shop, great customer service, will continue to come here for anything I need in the future! Felipe is absolutely amazing and definitely the best guy to go to for all your musical needs, thanks for being awesome Felipe!

I needed a large quantity of books in 12 levels and the manager Felipe went out of his way to call several places to have them all ordered and ready for me when I came in. Great service and a wonderful manager!

My sister and I came here looking for a guitar and bass guitar. We werent really sure what we were looking for, but Felipe was beyond helpful and was kind enough to let me try out the bass I had my eye on. We went to a couple other places after to see if they had anything different and came running back here after receiving little to no help and looking at the prices. We walked out with all the equipment we needed to get started and I cant wait to come back for more!!! Absolutely phenomenal customer service. :)

The customer service at this location is beyond exceptional. I came in just for a soft case and was helped immediately. I was in and out in no time flat. Felipe was incredibly friendly and encouraging and ready to assist me in whatever I needed. He helped me to my car with my purchase. Great guys at this location

I want to commend two employees that helped me so much. Its so hard to find good... Stratch that exceptional customer service in businesses now-in-days. I had called yesterday in desperate need of a trombone and was not having any luck finding these brands at. I spoke to Joaquin that instantly was welcoming answering the phone. Assisted me with every question I had. Knowledgeable and sweet. I came to the store today and spoke with Felipe the manager and told him how awesome Joaquin was. Felipe definetly needs to be added to this praise. Hes patient and hardworking. He as well answered all questions and assisted me promptly. I would hands down recommend Allen Music and Arts over any one out there. These two deserve a raise for sure. Thank you so much Felipe and Joaquin for your brillant customer service.😁🙏

Ive been here twice. Both experiences were really great! The team of staff working there is really helpful, educated, and friendly. For a smaller store they have a lot of inventory. I walked in and got exactly what I needed without hassle. Plus, the employees answered all of the questions I had. Super smart. Best music store in the area, hands down.

Great staff! Brad and Felipe were very helpful and personable. I had a TON of questions and they were very knowledgeable as well. My husband and I have a 6th grader starting band this year, and they had everything we needed that was on our supplies list. Walked out with his rental clarinet and all required accessories! As a former band person myself, I would say this place is great even for inexperienced parents going into this for the first time because they explain everything SO WELL! They walked me through the whole process and not once was I ever uncomfortable about making a purchase here.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff; good selections; nice, central location--this Music & Arts is wonderful! The manager replaced my guitar strings (and tuned) while I waited and browsed. An associate helped me pick out the right guitar picks. Im super pleased with my visit.

Ive been trying to find a replacement power cord for my Casio for months and called this store to see if they could help me. Other stores that didnt have the part just blew me off. Jerry was really helpful and while they didnt have the cord I needed he got online and let me know where I could find the right one. Finally! I will do all my music business at this store in the future.

Tried to order a trumpet online through them and it was delayed. I went into the store they set me right up the same day. Great service and definitely recommend going into the store over ordering online!

Today me and my son visit this place, was treated as if they didnt want us there, a guy playing the guitar made it obvious he was watching to make sure we didnt try to steal anything. I guess because we were black, I do have to admit it hurted to feel that way, but we chose to forgive you just wanted you to know.

My favorite and only music store i go to. Good for Beginners Band. When i chipped my mouthpiece they automatically helped me find a new one to buy and told me about precautions to prevent it.

I dont know how all locations are, but thie Allen, TX one had horrible service. We are brand new to the band scene and saw a lot of families use Music and Arts so I didnt even call around. Went to this location and the employee basically pulled the sheet from my hand, didnt say a word as he gathered up the items on our list. I has no clue how the instrument options worked and when I asked when came back, he just, its about $40/mo, no further information. This guy had absolutely no interest in helping me for some reason and I really wish I had not even purchased the stuff I did. Walked out without the most important thing, the actual instrument, which I specifically went there to get.Update: A few weeks into the school year, my sons band class started using the music book that I purchased from Music & Arts, and it turns out IT IS THE WRONG ONE!! So the guy didnt even get that right! I went to the The Band Connection to get the right one.

I never review anything, but my experience at this location left a big impression. I am a brand new band mom (6th grade clarnet) and I entered the store not knowing what to do or expect. All I had was a list of things given to me by the band teacher and I had no idea what I was looking at.Not only did the sales associate immediately put me at ease, he even took me around the store and explained what each item was used for in band. Talk about a quick and thorough band lesson! The instrument rental went quickly and smoothly - very little waiting for such a busy store. I am reviewing this location because I walked in completely band-clueless and left feeling completely comfortable with my future band-mom duties! This is very excitng for our whole family.Thank you so much for all the time and care put into making this potentially stressful experience actually pleasant, and I learned a LOT. Would absolutely recommend, especially if you are a new band parent.

Staff was very forceful to get us in and out. He asked us what we were looking for and when I told him he just picked the most expensive ones without our approval and just started ringing us up. Its always been like this but the next closest music retail store is in Richardson
