I am a student, and I just graduated from Boyd. I have been in this school since 2011, and now being in 6th grade, the teachers and staff are incredible and work many hours to care and teach us. Everyone thinks Boyd is a bad school, but from my past experience, it is very far from that. And for me graduating this year, I thank everyone, my teachers/staff/principles, and my friends. Because at Boyd we stick together through everything. And I wont remember this school as a bad school, but many good years, and memories forever. And saying goodbye to this school is gonna be hard, but well fly and soar and keep on going as BLACKHAWKS!

Boyd what to say I have wasted my precious time dealing with this unfair disappointing disgusting school.What to say moldy food disrespectful counselor that tears kids down instead of bring them up cockroach infested hallways and uncomfortably unsanitary lunch tables only plus I all the teaching staff cares to educate the secretary has respect for people and the nurses cares for the children’s health and overall well being,but the downsides overweight the good people the principals for god sake I have never experienced a more rude degrading and overall aggressive administration I have been shamed for my race culture and appearance by administration Boyd was at its peak in 2012-13 school year but it’s crashed. The counselor you can tell she doesn’t like students accusing kids of depression and forcing them into counseling classes forcing them to avoid their peers until the child is left for themselves until she stops her “services” all in all if u have 2 options on a school to send your child to this one should not be the first choice

Wonderful, caring faculty and staff. They go beyond to make sure ALL students have opportunity, activity, and choices. Honored to serve and help such an awesome community.

Family isnt always blood. Were proud to call ourselves blackhawks. Weve been part of Boyd for seven years. The staff (teachers, admins, resources, specials, support, office etc) are just absolutely fantastic!! wouldnt have it any other way. THANK YOU!! from the bottom of our hearts.

My son goes here and my 2 stepsons are in Allen as well. They both went to Anderson and it is a far superior school in not only cleanliness, updated facilities, and grounds, but the curriculum is even different. I cant understand how the same district can vary so drastically.
