Im so glad I made the best decision to bring my 3 year to Emler. Hes just 4weeks into the program and I must say he has learnt more than I had imagined. Thanks to Ms.Juliana for being so patient with my Son and being able to get him to speed. I cant wait to enroll my baby for next year!

Its Great Swimming School. My kids love to go here. Teachers are taking extra care to make sure Kids happy and learning swimming with ease.

We Love Emler! I brought my *now* 8 year old daughter to Emler when she was just 8 months old to start her swim journey and kept regular enrollment in classes until she was about 5 because she loved going so much! She quickly became such a proficient little fish - so confident in the water and a great swimmer! I have recently enrolled our newest little girl who is 18 months. I definitely recommend starting younger (thanks covid!) but shes becoming less tense in the water each week! Ms. Jen is the best water babies class teacher so if you have the availability to swim with her - DO IT! Emler makes learning to swim so fun and their methods are so efficient that the kids improve each week despite only being a 30 minute class! Safety and fun were our goals and Emler definitely hit the mark for us! Would recommend 1000%!

Our daughter, just turned 18 months, loves coming to swim class and Emily is the best! Emily works so hard to make sure that my daughter is loving coming! We will be staying at Emlers for a while!

Our daughter Aria loves this place! She’s 10 months old, but she has become so comfortable in the water unless she’s cold lol. We love being at Emler Swim School In Allen!! Everything have been super easy from signing up and the couple teachers we have had so far have all been awesome. Anyone on staff is always able to help even if things get a little busy. We will continue to go here and just started our 2nd Semester !

My daughter has been going here for a year and she loves it! I love it as well! The teachers are trained, teach well, and are very pleasant. We never have an issues, but if we did, I am sure it would be taken care of quickly. Everyone really cares about the progress of your child. So glad we chose Emler!

Emler Swim School of Allen is a GREAT environment for your child and fosters a love of swimming all the way around. We started there in the water with our child and have watched her grow from being fully dependent on us, to swimming the length of our pool at 2 years old. She has never used floaties or puddle jumpers. Ms. Jenn is THE BEST and takes time to know our child. She is more than capable and we truly love her. Our child likes to play Ms. Jenn in the pool and pretends to be a swim instructor. You are treated like a family member here, you are cared about here, and your kids actually learn to swim. You will not be disappointed.

My daughter has been in swim lessons with Emler for 2.5 years and loves every minute of it. I wanted my daughter to learn to swim in the safe and clean environment with teachers who care for children. I saw Emler swim school on my way to work one day and I asked one of my coworkers who had a kid going there about it. After hearing how good it is, I thought to give it a shot. Well, Here we are. Very friendly staff and my daughter loves it there!

Elmer has taught all four of my kids to swim. Their teachers are outstanding as they carefully explain swim techniques and encourage my kids to keep trying. Currently, My youngest is in waterbabies with Callee. My daughter did not enjoy any of the lesson on our first day, but Callee was patient and kept encouraging her to take little steps of progress to increase her comfort in the water. After about 4 weeks, my daughter is more confident and independent in the water. I am pleased with the progress that she is making.

We have been with Emler since our Daughter is 3 months old. its been a great experience with the staff, managers and families that have become friends for our kids. We have now enrolled our son too and it is been good.

We love Emler! My kids 4 and 6 started their swim class a month ago, and they look forward to going every week. The teacher is so patient, and makes them feel comfortable in the water. I also love the set up of the actual Emler facility in general - its convenient, and hasnt gotten too crowded so were always comfortable observing, and helping them change afterwards. Definitely recommend and looking forward to more swim lessons to come :)

My daughter loves it here. Her instructor, Ms. Katlyn is very patient and so nice to her students. The facility is clean and all the staff are accomodating and friendly.

My 2.5 year old son has been taking swim lessons for almost a year now. He can hold his breath up to 9 seconds, has learned to love the water, and now has the upper body strength to get out of the pool. He looks forward to his weekly lesson and is always ready to jump in the water. The teachers are excellent and there are always many eyes on the kids making sure they are safe. The rest of the staff are always friendly as well.

This is our families second year attending Emler and we will continue coming back.Consistently, all of the Emler staff make it a point to greet everyone by name. We genuinely get a sense that they all enjoy working at Emler and take extra care greeting the children and showing love and patience towards them. Nicole and Lindsay are amazing and always go the extra mile to ensure the kids are ready to graduate to the next level and are also very warm and welcoming. My shy daughter loves them! Another thing we appreciate about Emler is that there is consistency in the instructors. Low turnover. The kids get to keep their instructor the whole semester. My kids have been going to Emler Swim School for a few months now and we have really enjoyed it. My daughter is six and has made some major improvements with the help of her dedicated teacher Ms. Sophia. She started out not knowing how to swim and now she can! My son also goes here. He is 3 years old and would cry when we dropped him off. Luckily the staff knows exactly what to do and helped out so much! Especially Mr. Andrew and Mr. Donut 🍩. Now he is happy to go and is actually spending time underwater. I think as he gets older he will progress even further. Every one at the school from the receptionists to the substitute teachers have been awesome. I would definitely recomend Elmer Swim School.

Both of my children have loved the classes and teachers they have had at Emler. Over the past few years, I have enjoyed watching my children grow with their swimming abilities. They have become so much more comfortable with bodies of water, and they love going to class each week.

We started swim lessons early so so our little one would have a positive relationship with the water. We have class with Kaylyn, and she is fantastic with the babies! She makes sure to engage them and does a great job of managing multiple little ones at the same time!

Emler has been a great experience for our family. We started with the newborn class and continued through the toddler classes. I did not want my kid to be afraid of water and to know what to do if he ever fell in the pool. Emler has given my kid the knowledge he needs to be safe in a fun environment. The teachers are patient and caring.

We have been bringing our daughter here since she was 6 months old and we absolutely love it! Jen is the best instructor and she has been our daughters teacher from the beginning. The staff is always friendly and helpful as well!

Our two kids enrolled in the swimming class at the Allen site, but the older one had difficulty being engaged in the class (she was constantly crying over several classes), so we decided to hold the class for both kids after the teacher failed to show up in the scheduled bonding class. The site refunded us credits for future use, but the numbers did not match our calculations. We were trying to contact the site to clarify it. We sent many emails, made many phone calls and even went to the site to have a face to face discussion just for this issue, but none of them worked. They promised to us that the manager would call us, but it never happened.

Since my daughter has been attending Emler since she was 2, I have become very fond of the staff and there dedication of teaching my little one how to swim. I love that they keep you informed of the progress that your little one has made and making sure that she succeeds in becoming a strong swimmer.

This school used to be great, but since Covid they have went down hill. The people responding to their emails gives incorrect and contradictory information and they only care about taking your money. If your child does not fit into one of their levels they will find a way to blame it on your child instead of taking responsibility that they dont have a good class for 2-3 yr olds.The waterbabies class was great when my daughter was 10 months old, but at 2.5 years old she wasnt benefiting from me bouncing her up and down in the water. When I asked for a refund after ONLY 1 class, I was denied and she was shoved into a class that was not appropriate for her. Then when she spent 20 minutes crying because she was in a new part of the pool being held by a stranger without mom in the water, I was told it was because she was afraid of the water. She spends over an hour most days in our neighborhood pool and the only time she cries is when we have to leave, she is definitely not afraid of the water. I told them this, and it was also very obvious she was trying to get into the water at the stairs when she arrived, yet this was their determination because she didnt calm down when she was being held... by a stranger.I am not just a parent, I am a behavior analyst and my career is working with children. Their lack of understanding of child behavior and how to transition kids to new class levels is not acceptable for what theyre doing. They say that they provide the BEST swim lessons, and while that certainly used to be true, Im sad to say their focus is no longer on being the best for the child.Id also like to say that Im not upset that they dont have the perfect class for my daughter and I wouldnt be writing this review just for that. We took one class, I saw it was not a good fit and asked for a refund for the remaining classes, which could have been the end of it. We actually would have been happy to return next summer when shes more comfortable around strangers without mom being right there. We are now at this point because they refuse to give refunds and instead pushed her into a class that was beyond her comfort level and skill because they didnt have anything else. That is not safe or ethical and that is the reason I do not recommend anyone to attend this school.

We have been with Elmer for a year & our son loves it. All staff are extremely friendly, personable and make us feel welcomed. Our son is learning water safety in a fun engaging way. When COVID hit, they took extra safety measures and got us back in the water as soon as possible. We will continue to use Elmer for years to come!

Been part of the Emler family for over 5yrs. Were very happy with the staff and trainers. They are very friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. Our child has made great progress over the years.

Definitely recommend! The staff is very caring. Makes efforts to know every child’s name, makes you feel at home. They cared about the progress our kids were at. I do wish their policy on make-up classes was better. But we look forward to going back after sports.

Austin took his time evaluating my grandson and gave a thorough recommendation, along with options for classes. Nicole worked with me to set up a time for private lessons. Bailey is my grandsons instructor and she did a great job keeping him engaged and focused. I am pleased with my experience and looking forward to seeing the progress my grandson makes.

My daughter went to school at the Allen location which is owned by this location. My daughter is on the autism spectrum so we thought it would be a good idea to take her to swim school. We had her in group classes with 3 other students for 4 weeks. She did not have the same instructor the whole time and half of the time the instructor was looking at an instruction booklet the entire time he was trying to teach. We voiced out complaints to Austin, the man the runs the location and he suggested that we should to private classes. We decided to do this even the the cost is considerably more expensive. We paid for 2 private classes and went to the first class we got the same man that does not have much experience, who looked at the book while he was trying to teach her. The whole time through all 5 classes, they were not able to get her to do anything that showed any type of progress towards swimming. After the last class, it was obvious that what they were not capable and their teachers did not have the proper education to teach a child with specials needs. We decided to go a different route an not attend the final class. The program was sold as Satisfaction Guaranteed and lead us to believe when we signed up that if our daughter did not make any progress towards swimming that we would get our money back. Not just for classes that we did not attend but the entire amount. So after the class was cancelled, I reached out to Austin to request a refund and he denied any refund, even for the class that was not attended. He said the the guarantee was that they would work with us until we were satisfied and that there were not refunds. I told him that this was unacceptable and asked for his superiors phone number to which he refused. II told him that I would find it myself then to which he asked if he could call me back if he spoke with his superior before I did. That call never came. I was able to locate and contact his boss, to which she refused to refund the class that was not attended. We were never told that the classes were not refundable. All that was offered to me was more classes that I did not was with a Master instructor as they called it. If they were so concerned about our satisfaction, then maybe they should have tried that when we expressed our first complaint instead of using someone with little to no experience. I am more than disgusted with this company and the lies that were told to us. I was able to take my daughter to a private teacher that had her swimming in 5 days. She made more progress in one day with this other teacher that she did in 6 weeks at Emler.

Instructors are so good here! They know all the tricks to help your infants & toddlers & you as parents and grandparents to help kids get over any fears & learn water safety. And theyre just darn nice too. 😁

Our daughter did not do very good the first class because she did not want to get in the water. We let her do whatever she wanted that day and the staff was very understanding. The next class was very different and she started doing all the activities. Every week got better and now she loves going to her swimming class. She progressed really fast, and now she feels more confident around the water. The staff has done an excellent job!

Great place to host a party! Safety was obviously the number one priority and I always felt that the kids were in great hands. Facilities were clean and the party area is a separate glassed off room so it was cool and comfortable for parents (unlike many indoor pool parties weve been to where the reception area is in the humid pool room.) Austin was great with the kids and wed definitely recommend Emler of Allen.

I simply have to share this story with you all. This past summer I moved myself and two little ones in with my parents here in Plano while my husband is deployed with the Air Force to South Korea for a year. My son struggles with low muscle tone and is late to speak. I wanted him to learn to swim for two reasons; first for safety because my parents have a pool in their backyard and second because I thought it might help as a type of physical therapy. I chose Emler because it had the best reviews and seemed more structured in its teaching approach. My husband has agreed but has been reluctant to spend the money. Last week, my husband was here for his first visit in 5 months and was outside playing with my 3yr old son. My son was backing up to catch a ball and fell into the deep end of the pool. To our surprise, despite the cold water, he managed to swim himself to the surface, locate the wall and make his way over to it. Neither of us had to dive in to save him, my husband simply reached his arm in and pulled him out. We couldnt believe how he kept himself together and seemed to impulsively know what to do. I know this is 100% a result of his training from the incredibly friendly, patient, skilled instructors of Emler (Allen)! My husband is now committed to continue lessons for our son the duration of the year we live here!

I just got off the phone with Nicole, and I’m extremely impressed with her customer service skills. I accidentally called the wrong location, but she still was happy to help me. Great first impression of the company. Can’t wait to start classes (will be at Fort Worth location) but I just had to give some positive feedback to good customer service.

Came in for a look before I register for my kids. Nice staff. Good deal. But some new teachers look kind of confused and don’t know what they are teaching. This place is Chaos when they are switching classes. No.

The entire staff does a great job of assessing the need of swimmers and alter their approach. The deck managers have been great in recognizing and interacting with our son in a short amount of time. Highly recommended.

We love Emler Allen! Instructors are top notch and are so great with our kids. They offer so many different time slots that scheduling is always a breeze and we always have a time that works for us each semester. We love this school. The staff is wonderful and always are friendly. It blows my mind the one lady at the front desk always greets my son with his first and last name.My son has done great learning to swim. They really have a great program. I like there is only 4 kids per class. They also teach boat safety. It is a clean and well taken care for. My son started when we moved to the area and wish we had one when he was a baby.

I have two children enrolled in swimming here. Our three yr old and one yr old and I like it alot. All of the staff is friendly and warm and that is a plus when it comes to dealing with children. Our three yr old is trying to take off before the time is coming to swim. I just hope she grasp the games as well as the lesson being taught.

I was bringing my daughter here when she was 3 months old. Everything went smoothly until she graduated to the next class. Now my daughter is deathly afraid to get in 1 foot water beside her bath and kiddie pool outside. She starts to flip out and grab onto me saying no over and over. I believe with all of my heart it started here at this school. When they graduated to the higher class they let the babies go underwater and swim back up on their own. Being a teacher or instructor they should know when I baby is struggling. I believe Sophia got scared from being left under the water to long. The teacher never caught on or mentioned anything about this or bringing her up sooner. If that’s their job why not do it correctly. We haven’t been back since and she is now 1 1/2, almost 2
