If I could give it a -5 I would. This school is a waist of time and money. They promised that they will do a lot for you and help you out in anyway they can, But that’s a lie. After being at that fraud of a school for 3.5 years for Surgical Tech, they said that they help me with placement that was a lie. I didn’t have a car at the time and I had spoken to them about it. They told me not to worry that everything externship was in the Allentown area. That was a lie m, they place me 45 min -1hr away. Knowing that I didn’t have transportation. The reason they send me that far was because hospitals in Allentown were not taking students. Why because the school its self was apparently accredited but not my program of Surgical Tech. Hospitals were no longer taking students due to the program not be accredited. Now Im stuck with loans. Worst school to have ever attended!!

How much I wanted to sue this college, when I did not know enough English and I told them that if it would not bring me problems with the classes and they told me that they would give me English classes, I passed all my classes with good grades, when I was going to take the classes Practical Medical Assistant classes that I had 4 months left to finish my degree, they expelled me for English, but I already had 1 year in college, in the end I got in debt, I went to another college that if I finished and they did not serve me at all. Mccann credits, it was a trauma for me, I didnt want to study, I had to go to the psychologist, it was very traumatic for me. I do not recommend it at all. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

I considered going to McCann, but decided to go to another college. Since then, they have contacted me relentlessly via text, phone calls and emails. I have repeatedly opted out and asked to be removed from their lists. I have blocked numbers and email addresses. And still, they wont stop.

I contacted McCann for information but decided to go to a different college. They continue to email, text and call me despite me repeatedly asking to be removed from their lists. I have had to block their numbers and email addresses to end the harassment. Eventually, they will run out of numbers to call and text me on, I hope. Just know that if you ask them for information, you are basically signing up to be contacted relentlessly, forever.

The CDL A training class of this college is simply the best. I dont know about the other classes but this school stands out.The teachers really make every effort in training you how to drive a tractor trailer.I highly recommend this school. The sucess rate (students that pass the road test and get the CDL-A license), are the best

I am a graduate from 2012. And let me tell you it was the best experience ever! The instructors and faculty team always cared about you and your current situation in life! Their goal is/was always to see all the students including myself be successful! The career service department set me up with amazing career right after I graduated.. They way I see it... What better way to invest in yourself and future career! They are flexible and they are always willing to work with you depending on your current life situation! It’s college it isn’t high school.. College life you must be determine! This school was awesome with me and to know when I went to Strayer University some of my credits transfer! Better then none right!!! Awesome school!!! I would recommended anyone to McCann for sure!!

Please I advise everyone to do your own independent research before signing up to this pyramid scheme of a school. They told me since my program would be accredited and allow for me to transfer my credits to any school that would take them. I called up a few schools like Northampton Community College, LCCC, Kutztown University since its a state school. Long story short, all those schools denied my credits from being able to transfer because my program was not accredited by the school. Not even your local community college would take my credits, thats when I just decided to stop attending and took myself out before things got worse. If you have intentions to move out the state for any reason, those credits will not follow you wherever you decide to pursue a higher education. That school is meant to keep you trapped in the Lehigh Valley. Youre better of getting a degree from a community college because atleast they will not give you a hard time when you decide to transfer to a 4 year school to pursue a higher degree.

I wish I can rate it lower but any medical programs through this facility is extremely expensive. I went through the phlebotomy program & now I owe around $17,000 for a 9 month progam when they told me it would be $12,000; which is still too much I recommend Bethlehem Area Vocational - Technical School if you are interested in phlebotomy. The instructor for McCann phlebotomy program was great very helpful & well educated on the subject. The administration at McCann just matters about the $$$. They will make you feel like you need them rather than the other way around. By the end of the tour you would talk to the director to see if you are accepted. Truly they feed off of your emotions so you feel like you are making the best decision.

I wont even give this school a star. After being at that fraud of a school for 3.5 years for Surgical technology, they proceed to tell me in my externship meeting that I would have to with draw myself due to being pregnant and I could return after having my baby. My doctor signed off on me being able to go out and they refused to send me. So I followed on what they said and attempted to return. All to find out that I would have to start from scratch and add another 30,000 grand to my already 30,000 grand worth of loans. The school its self was apparently accredited but not my program of Surgical Tech. Hospitals were no longer taking students due to the program not be accredited. Now Im stuck with loans and have nothing to show for it. Once I find out the attorney used for the class action suit, I will be suing myself. Worst school to have ever attended!!

I had some ups and downs but over all it is very very good school. I am in the Clinical Medical Assistant Program and my medical instructors are absolutely great! They have the experience and are very flexible. They go out of their way to help you here at the Pottsville Campus. I started in April 2016 and just a few months down the road they asked me to be a work-study student so I am getting paid to help out in Career Services. I really needed a job and they looked at my dedication and realized I was a good fit for the job. I am about to graduate next month in May. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it was an amazing journey. I met some wonderful faculty and students. I am grateful for this opportunity.

Id give it no stars because they do not deliver on there word ever they will say anything to get you to go to school here but will not live up to it. They will say they work with YOUR hours and then when you cant make a class will tell you it is your fault and that its not their problem if it interferes with your work or any home duties you have. They do not get you paid externship they expect you to pay for everything like gas and everything but they dont care if the hours they have get you fired from a job that was paying you.

Although I had a teacher that cared, this school is a waste of time and money. Early on you will be sold on job placement and hands on education. Also, they like to make you believe that when it comes time to pay back on the financial aid, that you can pay back whatever you can afford. Everything will be presented in a positive manner and you get sold. Then after a while you take virtually the same class over and over, with no hands on experience. I cant think of any hands on experience come to think of it. After you graduate, they follow through with job placement, but mostly its for jobs that you can get without going to McCanns and jobs that are financially bad choices. Its been 4 years since Ive graduated and my student loans are not what I was lead on to believe theyd be. Dont believe you can pay back what ever you can afford, there are stimulations that dictate your monthly payment. Any one looking to go to McCanns should stay far away Dont waste your time or money. I feel embarrassed about my degree. I will continue to not recommend this school. They may have good teachers and faculty but at the end of the day they are a business trying to get your money by selling you on a dream.

I used to go to Northampton Community College and 2 years later decided to take a break and within the break Mcann business school called me and I would pick it up just in case it was an interview for jobs but it came to a point where it was daily; having 4 calls a day and if not 5 and if I was lucky one to zero. Before all the calls I never knew this place and its funny because I always told them on the phone that I wasnt interested and that I was not looking forward to get back in school for a bit but they still called me with different number and all + I used to go for College for Fine Art which for sure I know they dont have my major but still have the audacity to tell me they would work out someone or that they do have it. I call this harassment and yet that are soooo lucky because I am not even reporting but instead giving a bad review because this is not OK and I wouldnt blame anyone to never attend there.

I graduated from the Wilkes Barre campus back in 2016.I was told then that all credits were transferable, and that McCann is an accredited school.About 3 months before graduation, I found out that McCann is NOT an accredited school.I’ve been to several other colleges and universities, and they all told me that McCann’s credits are NOT transferable. When I called the Allentown location, I asked about the credits and the accreditations.I was ASSURED that McCann is accredited and that ALL credits are transferable. But when I brought up the fact that “Hey, I’ve been down this road before, and what you’re telling me is completely untrue”, the guy on the phone was stumbling over his words. He was trying to make up excuses that made absolutely zero sense... and I’m a fairly intelligent individual with satisfactory comprehensive skills.Speaking of that... I graduated with a 4.0 GPA.And yet I was NEVER assisted with job placement. McCann never got me an interview, not even one.In fact, they never even helped with my externship placement.Instead, I had to struggle to find a place last minute because I was lied to and strung along. This entire school is a complete scam, and every campus needs to be shut down.

I dont know about any of theyre other programs, but i can tell you if your looking to get your CDL i would recommend this school. Shout out to Rich and Jim these guys are awesome CDL instructors. You will be stretched and taken out of your comfort zone, but its for you to succeed. Tips: Do your research and learn what the CDL career is going to demand from your time and life make sure it is something you absolutely want to do. Once you graduate from the program your going to have to take whatever CDL job till you gain experience and that can look like a 2nd shift start time working 12-14 hour shift. Again do your research. Other then that i had a good experience with my training at McCann but not a good experience trying to land a job. Few companies will require that you have anywhere from atleast 3-6months on road experience, but most companies will require that you have 1-3yr on the road experience. Ill say it again, do your research. I hope this somewhat helps somebody or anybody whos looking to get into this career. Hopefully it gives you a bit more clarity to your desicion and puts things a little bit into perspective for you. McCann has a good CDL training program and i believe the lest expensive out of all the ones you may find.

This place does not help you find a career and credits are not transferable to any proper college or university. I graduated from here with an associates degree in marketing and management.I had employers tell me they would sooner hire someone with real experience before someone with a degree and that business school isnt college. While I met some great fellow students, my experience in the school itself was unimpressive. It felt more like 13th grade than higher education. If i could turn back time, I would not of pursued an education here. It was an expensive mistake and I regret it.

I wasted my time and money going to this school and you can only transfer your credits to desales and cedar crest colleges. Their tuition is much higher and they only take certain credits which means if you taking English and college algebra, you would have to take it over because their not equivalent to regular colleges. I am very dissatisfied and hopefully I can finish my credits online. These people should be shut down. There is no job placement whatsoever. They sell you a dream and then your stuck paying high interest loans.

McCann is NOT an accredited school, McCann’s credits are NOT transferable.I was told that McCann is accredited and that all credits are transferable, they LIED.McCann never got me an interview, I applied and found an interview myself. They did help me find an externship but the externships are suppose to be 10 weeks long and I had to do it in 4 weeks because they failed to find me an externship in time.If I could turn back time, I would have NEVER went to McCann, it was extremely expensive, a huge mistake I regret it. This entire school NEEDS to be shut down. If your looking to go into phlebotomy DO NOT GO TO MCCANN! Health Network Labs just opened a school, low cost eight week program with an internship and prepares students for the ASCP phlebotomy technician certification exam. MCCANN PROGRAM IS 9 MONTH, with completely unnecessary classes.

McCann is a great school.I attended The McCann School of Business & Technology in Allentown PA to obtain my Class A CDL license.Their tuition is very reasonable in comparison to other schools. They have day and night courses which makes it convenient for anyones schedule. The teachers are very flexible, firm, but fair. They go out of their way to give students any extra time and help that they need to pass their drivers exam.I recommend anyone who is looking to obtain their CDL license to check The McCann School of Business and Technology!

I attempted to go to McCann a while ago, and ended up not attending because of financial and personal reasons. Ive spoken to someone on 3 separate occasions and Ive told them that I am attending college somewhere else. To this day still? I am getting phone call after phone call and theyre using different phone numbers each time I block them. And someone gave out my Facebook, and they are contacting me through there as well. Ive already told them why I cannot attend and now I do not wish to, ever. This is harassment which is illegal. They arent getting the message. Looks like Im going to have to report these actions because this hasnt stopped for a couple of months. Why keep calling and messaging on Facebook when I am not a student? And how they got a hold of my Facebook is beyond me. Total violation of privacy and unnecessary calling.
