My son has been coming here since he was 2 (now 5) and my daughter has been coming since she was 6 weeks old (now almost 2) and I love the staff! I know my kids are taken care of, and are in a good environment with the staff. The rates are affordable, and it’s in a convenient location for the ABE area.

My son who is 8 started going to bright futures in March of 2019 my experience has been very well so far I am glad bright futures is a daycare that is accomadated for working parents especially those who Work late evenings Maria and the other evening staff have been so helpful warm welcoming and understanding I am a single mom who works 3-11pm and this was the only daycare I have found that stays open late to be great. They have welcomed my son and made sure he was safe comfortable and had everything he needed it really is a good daycare. To any working parent it can be hard when your hours change and you need to work later than usual bright futures was there for me and my son I hope this daycare can continue to care for the children they serve in our community. Thank you.-mom

My son went to this daycare from the time he was about 4 months old until the time he was three. I’m a single mom and had no choice but to put my son in daycare when he was only 12 weeks old. I initially had him in another daycare (which is now shut down) and it was a nightmare to say the least! At that time I worked until 10pm and it was so hard to find a center that was open that late. I had a friend refer me to Bright Futures and I remember meeting Ms. Dorothy (the director) and she understood my needs and my concerns. I appreciated the security cameras they had in place and the staff seemed nice. Since I worked late my son was always with a staff member Ms. Maria who was always amazing! I felt she treated my son as her own and I still send her pictures of my son to this day and he is 7! As a new mom it’s so important to feel like your child is actually being cared for and I could see that he was. I never picked him up with his nose dirty or a soggy pamper. As he grew older I also appreciated that they had a few hours in the morning that actual learning occurred. My son was very advanced and articulate to be so young and I think it has something to do with the constant reinforcement on minor things such as colors and shapes and so on.The one issue I did have were some communication issues between staff when the shift changes. (I’ve experienced this at other daycares as well). I never knew it’s some sort of state policy that the kids have to go spend some time outside even in colder weather. (This is not the only daycare who has told me that). So during the winter months I wouldn’t allow my son to go outside. When I would pick my son up in the evening I would ask if he went outside for that day and sometimes the answer would be I don’t know which to me wasn’t acceptable. I scheduled a meeting with Ms. Dorothy and made her aware of what was going on and how I was unhappy and she made sure that he was kept inside everyday during the winter months and it was always put on his daily report. I appreciated the fact that she was able to listen and then take an action on my complaint that I had. I would laugh because she would come to me when Spring started and ask me if he was allowed to go outside during recess. Is any daycare or center perfect? Of course not, but Bright Futures is an amazing center with great staff who actually care and that’s hard to find. I don’t love close enough or my son would still be there.

I worked for Bright Futures Child Care Center for almost 4 years. This establishment is wonderful place for your child to grow and learn. Students get the exposer and the skills they will us in school and get to do so all through play. Exploring the world around them to better understand it. If you are looking for a safe, friendly environment for your child to develop and learn this is the place!
