While five star has had some turnover lately but so has every business in the current economic situation, the general manager Christina has been doing an incredible job in keeping the customers happy and making sure the students are taken care of, regardless of age. My son has been going there for 3 years minus a 9 month absence due to concerns with Covid. Also my 14 month old baby and I have been swimming together since she was 6 months old. My son can swim the entire length of the pool and they are working on his technique currently. Also my baby loves the pool. I completely recommend this business but ask that you have patience and understanding. Everyone is hurting with staffing issues.

I started taking my sons here off a recommendation from a friend, and glad I did. Both my sons have no formal swim lessons (one is 4 the other 12) and in each class the instructors take their time and help them. Yes, all the instructors are young and some new but Christina runs a tight ship! She keeps the place decorated and fun for the kids but clean and organized as well. Its really amazing to see my two boys being able to swim and improve each week. Christina is absolutely amazing, give this place a try.

To start my first impression was wow there are only young kids working here. So didn’t look like most instructors were late teens and maybe perhaps one who was closer to 20. Safety wise I find that a bit concerning.They also had multiple levels going on at the same time which I felt was distracting.My daughter is only 6 months old so this was more like play time no actual life saving skills will be taught here. The instructor was very friendly sang lots of songs.I have been to other group swim lessons for with a 6 year old and myself and I could say this place is not very organized and these are not well taught swim instructors for the price you are paying.Last which was important to me the place was dirty I had no place to change my daughter in the locker room. There is one changing table which is the only suitable place to lay a baby and the station was extremely dirty. Dirty hair etc all over. I had to try to hold on to her with one hand and pull her swimsuit off with the other then dry her mid air and dress her. Unless I wanted to put her soaking wet in her car seat. And imagine doing this in a cramp space with other moms their kids and other levels all finishing at once. This is a nice place for pool party or play time not actual swim lessons.

This was my childrens first swimming lessons. For a 5 and 7 year old it was unbelievable that they would be placed on the 5ft side of the pool for lessons. They were told to jump in and swim to the side. I had to pull my daughter out of the pool. They never swam before, how could they be told to swim to the side. The instructor did not show them any breathing exercises nor told them how to hold their breath. This school may be for children who already have swimming experience. My 2 sons were with an instructor that had 5 kids. I was ready to pull my kids out of the pool within 10 minutes. We were sitting at the edge of our seats because the instructor would turn his back quite frequently. Will not be returning.

Instructors are very patient with difficult kids like mine when they dont take a nap. Christina went above and beyond to help my oldest when his regular instructor left to go off to college.

Tessa was a great instructor! ...My son struggled with learning how to swim for years, and she actually taught my son how to tread water.

We love this place. We joined July 2019 and my son who was 7 (about to turn 8) at the time could not swim at all. We are now in September of 2020 and he has excelled tremendously he can swim, like actually swim. He’s in the advanced levels now- he excelled very quickly. He loves all the teachers there but his favorite is Tessa so we always try to stick with her.I recently enrolled my 2 year old daughter a little over a month ago and she has Niceiry as her instructor and we truly adore her. She is so patient and sweet and my ‘overly-shy’ two year old daughter is drawn to her. In such a short amount of time, again, also, my daughter is doing great. She can even put her entire head under water!Overall I am happy and will continue to bring my children here and I definitely recommend this swimming school to everyone!*Note* The instructors really boost my children’s confidence and make them feel happy and proud of themselves especially when they reach a milestone and that makes me feel so good that my husband and I are able to send both of our children to a wonderful place like this!

I had an bad experience on my first day, a school boy, who is instructor, to my kids, is horrible. He is not even talking or interacting with kids. Not so energetic or happening. He is just killing the time, he even sit ideal for few minutes doing nothing. I have been to another swim school for 1.5 years and moved to this area last month. So, just going a chance to this school but its way below than my expectations, even though price is still the same. From my personal experiences, I dont recommend this school.

Christina and Tessa are ALL THAT!!!!! They both have given my daughter confidence and encouragement with learning how to swim and have been so patient with her that she now is a shark 3! They are funny, friendly, and are great people!! Thank you so much for all you have done for my daughter!

I bring my children here to learn swimming lessons. A very clean and organized place. The work staff are always pending. It has free parking, and is also close to the main highway. We recommend you to bring your children here, they will have a good time.

They will pick and choose what parts of their agreement and take your money. I requested my sons lessons to be cancelled 2 months in a row. They charged me for both months. Then refused to refund my money and kept my deposit. This place has a business plan that forces their customers to continue paying.

My little cousin comes here for lessons and she absolutely loves it! The instructors are amazing and are very patient with the kids. My two year old daughter loves coming here! Once we hit the parking lot she cheers with excitement because she knows exactly where we are. The staff is wonderful! The classes were a big help! They made her comfortable with the water and swimming. We received lots of comments this summer on her swimming skills for her age, we owe that to Five Star Swim school! Can’t wait for our next class!

We absolutely LOVE this swim school. The staff members are incredible with the kids, and the parents. They all made us feel welcomed immediately. I felt like Ive known them my whole life. They are extremely knowledgeable. They are quick with corrections to make sure the child they are working with uses proper technique. They take every precaution to make sure the children are safe at all times. I have two children ages 8 and 4. They each learned so much and picked up very quickly due to the fantastic instructors. I also cannot say enough positive things about the manager as well. Heather has been nothing but professional, respectful and always helping to accommodate class scheduling. We are very pleased and look forward to more swim classes at this facility.

My son, Owen, started his swim journey a couple of years ago at Five Star swim school, Lehigh Valley (on Lehigh St). He has come so far! Initially, he would cry and not go in the water without me. The instructors were very patient with him. They encouraged him to keep trying and now he loves to go swimming! He even goes under water now. I like that the classes are not crowded too. Miss Crystal was his main instructor this past summer and Owen really enjoyed her. She was patient, kind and had fun with the kids.A special thank you to Heather, Five Star’s manager. It wasnt until high school that my 14 year old daughter realized she needed to know how to swim (and not be embarrassed) for her unit in gym class. I did my research and found 5 star swim school in the Lehigh Valley. From the moment we walked through the doors, Heather and the rest of the staff made my daughter feel at ease. This enabled her to be more confident in the water and thus moved through all 4 levels within a short period of time. The overall environment and affordable pricing makes this a great place.

I’ve been bringing my daughter here since September. The progress she has made in such short time is just simply amazing! I’ve been to other swim schools in the area and some of the ratios there can be 5:1.. however, here at Five Star the ratios are 3:1 which gives the students more time with doing each set of skills! I couldn’t ask for a better facility to bring my daughter. Looking forward to seeing what skills she may learn next. Thanks Five Star!

My wife and I bring our 7 year old daughter here. She absolutely LOVES it. She’s moved up 2 levels in just about a 3 months time. I’ve never seen instructors so passionate about wanting to teach kids to learn swimming. And if you pick the right time, there’s even open swim not too long after class where we can swim as a family and practice the skills my daughter learns. Five stars for Five Star! Highly recommend.

My daughter has been enrolled in Sea horse classes since the summer and so far so good! I hope to see her learn more and move on up! Her teachers so far have been Heather, Christina and Annabelle and theyre all great teachers! The water is very clean and also the shower rooms. The only thing I dont like is that the shower room while showering and getting ready can get really hot in the room which makes it uncomfortable. But other than that its a nice place and staff are very nice!

The staff is nice and the building is painted nicely. Seems to be kept pretty clean. The ladies locker room is too small and there arent enough showers or places to sit and change. Theres also a lack of non slip floor mats in the two bathrooms/private changing rooms. Overall satisfied with performance.

We came for open swim, and we loved it! Clean place, very friendly front desk ladies! If you are looking for a nice place for swim, this a the place! Warm salt water water, locker rooms! We highly recommend it! By the way their open swim is only $5, we got a punch card for 10 open swims for $40, you cant beat that price for such a great place!

I love this place- the water is a warm, salt water is nice, there is a relaxing unique atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. We go there for open swim- its big enough for laps or to float around. Evening & Weekend hours, affordable pricing, & attentive swim instructors. My daughter went from being afraid to get her face wet to swimming laps solo in just under a year (1/2 hr. class 1x/week). Highly recommended!

My son has been taking lessons for 6 months and he just loves it. Heather and all of the staff are great. Classes are small and instructors are patient with the kids. I would give them a couple of extra stars if I could.

Cant say enough great things about this awesome facility. Friendly staff, clean pool and changing/showering area. With the teacher to student ratio, it was like getting private lessons without paying for the private price! Teacher Heather was amazing. Her encouragement and friendly demeanor gae our daughter the confidence to build her swim skills. Our daughter went from not wanting to go under water or even jump into the pool, to asking to go all the way to the bottom of the pool to retrieve dive sticks--all thanks to Miss Heather! :) Our other instructors were great too. Always patient with the kids. A lot of learning in just a short time!

My son attended here for a few months, age 3 and within those short few months he learned to hold his breath under water, float, jump in the pool by himself & most importantly the basics of swimming. He can now can swim by himself and is not scared! Staff is friendly. Great place to teach your children how to swim and to be confident in doing so!😊

This place truly is 5 stars. I signed up my 8 year old daughter and my, then, 6 month old son for lessons after a positive experience during their trial lesson. My daughter knew how to swim and wasnt insterested in learning anything new in the pool, until she came here and realized there is so much more to learn. My daughter has been moving up to higher levels in short amounts of time. As for my son, I have never seen an infant love water as much as he does when he is swimming. I had no expectations for my young one, but he is now 8 months old and will kick his legs and swim across the pool as I hold him. I reccomend coming here. The ladies are nice, the area is clean, and they are very accommodating. It does get a little hot in the changing rooms.

I been to the one at lehigh valley and found that the manager there heather was very knowledgable and helpful throughout the process. Great people people and shiny star in the school sucess. Highly satisfied.

There open swim punch cards expire in TWO MONTHS for some unknown reason. In a time where everyone is getting rid of expiration’s all together (because they are annoying), they have decided to ridiculously shorten there’s. They also just increased the price by 25% so it’s no longer that great of a value. Lastly, sometimesthe pool will get over-filled for open swims and it feels like even less of a value.

Enrolled our 2 boys in swim class never thought the experience would be so wonderful. The General Manager Christina has been so helpful with working with our schedules and even when our kids were on and off sick. Amazing does not even begin to cover the staff.
