My 9 year old son has been attending for 1-1/2 years now and we are beyond grateful for such a great learning environment for him. Sheril and Eric are both so great with the kids! They not only teach the skills but also respect and determination.

I started Training late last year. Central Michigan BJJ is a great gym to learn Jiu Jitsu and to challenge yourself. The coaches work great with all ages and experience levels. I highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants to learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and would like personal growth.

Eric and Sheril are wonderful instructors, the kids class and adults classes are great experiences. Both are very wise and know what they’re doing when it comes to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. If you’re considering martial arts, or even just a workout, I highly recommend CMBJJ!

My son had shown no interest in anything but screen time & after one session with coach Sheril he wanted to keep doing this and now since many elementary school sports have been thrown away for better or worse my youngest is competing as well and loves it. After a couple of months of regular training the members and their families feel like an extended family. Sheril is awesome with the kids and Eric when he does work with the kids they look up to him so much it’s great. If they ever closed it would be an immeasurable loss to the community and to my boys for sure. I did not know Eric or Sheril before this and as of now they have my utmost respect and appreciation. We could not ask for better.
