I was in the first class ever held in 2012. Learned so much mentally and hands on. Graduated class, hired in instantly. Went far inside the company and became a team leader. Fabricated, welded, inspected, ran cnc tables, it all started because merrill institute. I credit Jason north for my career then and in the future.. The time and patience he has with students. Excellent course. Currently a welding supervisor at a different shop. Training people myself daily. To see the spread of knowledge and impact one person can spread in the world is incredible. Great job Jason

Graduated from here in December of 2019, absolutely incredible facility to learn and practice welding. Jason North and Trent are amazing welding instructors with a vast amount of knowledge and skills. Attending here was fun and hard work but well worth it. Highly recommend going here if you want to learn the welding trade

Merrill Institute is a fantastic place to learn to fabricate. Going in to the program, I had almost no experience. After 12 short weeks, I was ready for work. Merrill hosted a reverse job fair, where I met and talked with my current supervisor, about all the ins and outs of what I now currently do. Jason, Adam and Alex trained me in the basics and gave me all the tools I needed to get started in the world of fabrication. They continue to help me, even 2 years after the program. Attending Merrill Institute was one of the best decisions I have ever made, and if you are looking to get into skilled trades, I would strongly advise you to consider Merrill Institute.

I graduated from Merrill Institute of welding and now have a job structural steel welding all over the country. The training and knowledge I was able to obtain through the school has made me valueable and wanted in the field. The instructors were more than amazing and full of knowledge. The head instructor is one of a kind and has continue to assist me even after school when I have questions or new things I must perform. I would not have chosen any different school.

Merrill Institute was a great experience. I had already worked in the field for 10 years before attending. I really wanted to get a much better understanding of the fundamentals before taking my CWI exam. I got exactly that plus more. I was able to pick the brains of two instructors that have more combined knowledge then any duo Ive been around. Jason North a CWI and Manager of Operations at Merrill Institute, is a true wizard when it comes to the science of metals. Alex Teselsky is Jasons right hand man and the one that is with you 24/7. I cant say enough good things about Alex. He doesnt like to admit it. But hes also a metals genius. If youre looking for a school where you dont have to go 4 years. Pay 25k plus. Have to take classes where you wont retain 75% of what you learn. Then Merrill Institute is the school for you. You will truly learn all the main processes of welding. And if you want to go the extra mile and learn more in depth processes or more positions. Jason and Alex will do everything they can to make that happen. Thank you Merrill Institute for everything. I recommend this school to anyone that wants to learn a trade. Regardless of what you already know.
