This is a great place for kids to learn, grow and make friends. My son enjoys his time at Goddard State Bridge tremendously. Staff took the time to work with him on getting acclimated and now I cant get him to leave most days! Its so great to see how much fun he is having each day. I take comfort in knowing he is in a place that facilitates positive engagements and individuality.

Their curriculum truly is the best! I come from a long line of educators and I must say, my son had the most enriching curriculum experience I have ever seen! They were so creative! Our son learned colors, animals, shapes, multiple languages, manners, self discipline, and SO much more! The owner and staff are amazing! Marian, Tom, Debbie were all super friendly. We have enjoyed having our son there and appreciate all of the work they have done and the wonderful progress we have seen in our son while he was there. It is because of all of their hard work that we see our 21 month old progressing so rapidly!Thank you so much for nurturing our son!

I’m so happy with my decision to move my 3-year-old to the Goddard, that’s next to his brother’s school. He’s doing a lot of hands-on learning. He transitioned into the class very well.As a previous teacher and school counselor, I love his classroom because it’s bright and colorful like a kindergarten class. His teachers are actively involved with the students. They have STEAM activities for the students. The 4-year-old classes that he will go to over the next 2 years both have a SmartBoard in each room, writing journals and Writing Without Tears writing workbooks.I like the fact that they’re more academically focused than the previous daycare. I love how much he is learning which coincides with some of the work that I do with him at home. I appreciate the frequent pictures that I receive on daily basis to see what he is learning in each subject area. It has been a great experience, thus far.Update December 2020-My son is currently doing virtual learning. He started advanced math a couple of months ago and has recently been tested for the gifted program at his elementary school. The high educational standards at Goddard attributed to this along with the extra work that I have given him to do at home the last few years.

My two boys go to the Goddard School off State Bridge and my husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about the staff, the facility, the owner, the directors, the teachers, and just everything! We have been at two other day cares due to moving and job situations and by far Goddard is our favorite! They listen to the parents, the teacher really help you with your kids! I highly recommend this school for any working parents out there needing help!

I cannot fully state how much we love this school. We have actually made decisions to stay in this city based solely on keeping our son at this location of The Goddard School. He loves his teachers and is happy to be dropped off each day. His Goddard family truly cares for him and shows him love, affection and genuine excitement at his presence. It is such an amazing feeling as a mom. We love getting his daily report cards to see all the educational, social, physical and art activities he is doing. It makes us feel better about being at work when hes getting an incredible education.

This is the best school that my son has ever attended. It is hard for me to find the same quality again for my son and we moved so far away. I love all of my sons teachers. They are so knowledgeable and love my son from their hearts . The owner, Mr Tom, is the best of the best. He is always there, very caring and responsive. My son loved being there which made it so much easier to drop him off in the morning. No words can describe how satisfied I am in making the best decision for my son by picking this school. Thank you, everyone.

I currently have two children enrolled in The Goddard School on State Bridge road. My son was in another daycare for two years before Goddard and he cried every single day at drop off. Now he looks forward to going to school and gets upset when he cant go on the weekends. The teachers are absolutely amazing and I feel like there is great communication with my husband and myself. I love all the awesome security features and technology that is integrated into the curriculum.

I love this school! Both my girls go here and they loved it from the first day! You can tell by the energy of the kids, that they have a great time there. I enjoy reading the daily reports and to see how the classroom activities relate to each aspect of my child development. Mostly I feel secure when my kids are at Goddard because they are always happy when I pick them up and is evident that they have fun while learning

The Goddard School on State Bridge is the bomb! We have had our 3 year old there for over a year now and it has been a fantastic experience! Tom and the front office staff are amazing and really put the interest of the students above anything else! Our three year old has transitioned through a couple different classes now so we have had the chance to witness different teachers along the way. Hands every teacher have had contact with has a genuine love for their students that I have never seen before at a preschool. I highly recommend this preschool!

Our 18 month old daughter has attended the Goddard School since 3 months old and we have had a great experience with them. Our daughter loves her teachers and social time with all the other kids, and she loves to go outside and play! Tom, the owner, is very personable, knows all the kids names, and keeps up with how they are all doing. I would definitely recommend the Goddard School for childcare for your young children.

My husband and I are so glad that we chose The Goddard School for our little guy. Going back to work and taking my first born son to daycare was not an easy thing for me to do. However, the owner of the school and the ladies in the infant room made this transition so much easier & more comfortable for us. They send us pictures throughout the day & provide daily activity reports. The owner, teachers, and staff are so personable and have a genuine interest & care for the families at the school. We love the ladies in the infant room. They are absolutely fantastic. He is always so happy when I drop him off in the mornings and happy when I pick him up in the afternoons. We looked at other schools and I know without a doubt that we made the best decision choosing The Goddard School. We couldnt be happier!

I had just moved into Atlanta with a two month old and did a ton of research around the area regarding his daycare. I visited over 10 schools and talked to many co-workers and friends for their recommendations. One name kept coming up, Goddard on State Bridge. As first time mom, I was very nervous about daycare and wanted a place that was an extension of home. The infant room is awesome. They provide a variety of different activities to keep the little ones busy learning and developing. I have a crazy schedule with work and often drop him off/pick up at odd hours (in and out when not expected) and I have only experienced the highest level of attention and care from the staff. They collaborate with me regarding sleeping and feeding schedules and I love being able to dictate each day a schedule change based on how he did overnight. My son is engaged, happy and thriving, who could ask for more.Childcare is a very personal choice for everyone, I highly recommend Goddard on State Bridge.

We love the Goddard school! Our daughter went there for 6 years, starting at 6 weeks old. The teachers are loving and nurturing and its obvious that they love the kids. Our daughter had a great foundation when starting school and we cherish the time she spent at Goddard. Tom is a caring owner at the school and is always responsive with any questions or concerns raised. Her first day there was especially rough for me leaving her for the first time. Tom made sure to send me pictures and keep me updated throughout the day which made such a difference! Awesome school, I highly recommend it!

Great experience over the last 2 years with my son who is now going to elementary school. Tom and his team (Sabrina, Debbie, Marianne) and the teachers did a great job preparing him for school with his reading, writing, etc. His teacher Jamal was great as well. Very convenient as well but most importantly provided a safe and positive learning environment that both Matthew and my wife and I enjoyed!

Our son is 2 1/2 years old and has attended The Goddard School for the last two years. We decided on Goddard due to their outstanding care and core values. We felt that it was an environment that our son could thrive in. We have not been let down in the two years he has attended. Our son loves to go to school each day and loves his teachers. The owner is on site each day and that is important to our family.

Goddard was like home for my daughter and I. She attended Goddard since she was 6 weeks old. She has been in every room and experienced the same teachers more than once. Once she got to the preschool room I saw her development sky rocket. She was writing her name at 3. The Junior Kindergarten program is exceptional. My daughter learned so much and will be at the top of her class in Kindergarten thanks to The Goddard School. Mr. Jamal, Ms. Sabrina, and Ms. Nancy were excellent teachers. We were extremely sad to leave Goddard. We left due to moving to a different area. If we didnt move, my daughter would have stayed at The Goddard School until she couldnt go anymore. We loved the school and everyone who worked there who showed my daughter so much love since she was a baby.

Dropping your child off at Daycare for the first time is one of the most intimidating actions a parent can take (especially for us as new parents years ago). I can only imagine how hard that can be for most people. I can say after 4.5 years as our time at Goddard is winding down that we have never had the slightest hesitation as the Team at Goddard School Alpharetta has loved and cared for our daughter far beyond my personal expectations. I rated them 5/5 because there is no option to rate them 10/5. Tom, Debbie, Marianne, Stephanie, Maria, Wendy, Erica, Madeline, Sabrina, Cherie, Gloria, Miriam & Krystle have been members of our family. They have poured their hearts and souls into our daughter and our family is eternally grateful. If you are considering a day care provider anywhere remotely close, I urge you to please consider Goddard School Alpharetta. As hard as it is to watch your kids grow up so quickly, it will be even harder for me to say goodbye to our Goddard Family.

My son attended Goddard from the age of 11 months all the way through the pre-k program. I always new he was in good hands at Goddard and had peace of mind every day at drop off. The teachers and administration maintained good communication. The time he spent at Goddard appropriately prepared him to begin Kindergarten this year. Most importantly, my son loved it there!

My daughter went here for the first 2 years of her life and we loved it - we had a very bad scare where my daughter quit breathing while in class and Tom treated her like his own daughter - called the ambulance who got there in minutes - stayed with her and was crying as hard as I was by the time I arrived. He loves the kids and runs his business very well. I would highly recommend to anyone. As an edit, we are now back at the school with my son: I like the consistency and professionalism - school leadership is very transparent and quick to take ownership of any concerns. I dont worry about my children when theyre in the schools care - I have peace of mind and know they are well-cared for. My children have said more positive things about this school than any previous school attended. They are happy and emotionally well-balanced when they come home and have developed genuine relationships with their teachers. This is truly the best early childcare center we have ever attended and the only one I would recommend!

My grandson is on the spectrum and the teachers and Tom, the director have been instrumental in starting my sweet grandson on the right path to his education. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this center and cannot wait until my new granddaughter is old enough to attend.

We absolutely love State Bridge Goddard. Having had been at various schools, this has been the one place where we felt 100% comfortable that our son is in good hands once we drop him off. The entrance is secured by two security doors, one with a facial recognition system, and there is always someone at the front desk. You dont find this so much at other schools. The school is well-managed... two words--OWNER PRESENCE. It makes a huge difference. The common areas and classrooms are clean, and the playground is secure with new equipment. Love the synthetic turf on both playgrounds--no mud on his clothes at the end of the day. And the teachers have been great... loving, caring and professional. Also love the learning activities... he knew his alphabet by 2 1/2 and now at 3 can count to 30 by himself. Best of all, we get a detailed report via email at the end of the day of everything that was done/learned, as well as how much he ate and slept, along with a daily photo. I highly recommend this school. We have nothing negative to say about our experience--it has been no less than perfect!

I have a B.S. in Infant and Child Development and a Masters in Elementary Education, so I have a pretty good idea of what an exceptional daycare should be, and this school is it!!! Being a first time mother and new to the area, Tom (the owner) and his incredible staff welcomed my infant and I with open arms. The Infant Room is vibrant and my son loved coming to school everyday. The teachers were very organized and abided by the daily schedule I gave them everyday. Another thing I absolutely love is how everyone must wear the booties or crocs they provide to enter the classroom. They are aware that the infants crawl and dont want them to come in contact with the germs! I love it! Leaving this daycare was one of the hardest things I had to do! Tom worked with me and I am forever appreciative!

We were moving to the area and payed a $1600 deposit at the Goddard School run by Tom Barone. One week later we were informed by multiple people involved with my oldest child that dealing with a move and switching daycare at the same time would probably be detrimental for him, so we decided to keep him at his current daycare for at least a few months. When my wife informed Tom of this the same day he stated he did not want to set a precedent by refunding our money, and was not sure that the deposit could be applied to a later start date. After two weeks, I called and suggested Goddard keep the registration fee as well as a weeks worth of tuition (since we held the spot for all of 6 days). We are now eight weeks on and have received absolutely no refund even though our children have never attended the school and we held a spot for one week. Throughout the process of trying to get a refund we have been told multiple excuses by employees of the school as to the lack of communication from the owner, and most of those excuses have later been contradicted by the owner. Tom has also stated multiple times he would refund the money if the spots were filled, but after talking with my new neighbors who have children at the school they have told me the school is full.

My Child is almost 2 years old and attended Goddard School for the past year. We could not be happier with our experience. The school is kept in great condition and is always clean. The wood floors throughout the school are a nice touch and always well-kept and clean. Our daughter learned so much during her time at Goddard. She would always come home and show us some new form of sign language or yoga, and was already starting to understand colors and numbers. The Goddard School is definitely on another level when it comes to the education they are instilling in the minds of these children. You will not believe how much your child will grow intellectually in such a short period of time. The outdoor area is also clean and well kept. I also liked the fact that the playground is made of turf and very kid friendly. Lastly, the faculty was amazing! The teachers were so kind and caring for our daughter and made sure to keep us up to date on everything they were doing. The daily email report of the activities our daughter did throughout the day, things she learned, and a picture of her was nice to see. The owner, Tom, was also a pleasure to deal with. He was always more than willing to help us if anything came up and always greeted us warmly when we walked through the door each day. I would definitely recommend Goddard School!!!

My wife and I went to check out the facilities. They have a nice playground and it was packed with maybe 30+ 2 year olds and 4 adults. The adults were all in one area and as we walked up we saw one child push down and start wailing on another kid. The boy was on the ground crying and holding his punched ear. After a few minutes of watching, the adults didnt notice the wounded child but did notice my wife and I watching. The adult came to us and when we explained what happened she didnt seem to care.

My 2 year-old son started at The Goddard School on State Bridge almost a year ago and I cannot be more happy with our decision to send him there. Not only is my son learning at an accelerated pace, but he loves going to school every day. He always wants to stop by the office of the owner Mr. Tom to say good morning. The Goddard School is like a family, they all know my son by name and I feel so comfortable leaving him in their care.Since he started last year, my son has learned his colors, can count to 20, sings the ABCs and spends every afternoon telling mommy and daddy all about his fun day at school. He is in a phase that he says no to everything, but whenever we ask if he had fun at school the answer is a resounding, YES!We could not ask for a more nurturing and educational environment for our son and we would recommend The Goddard School on State Bridge to everyone!

As a previous Preschool Director, I am well aware of the standards and guidelines centers need to abide by, and had extremely high standards for where my daughter would attend pre-school.We shopped around the Alpharetta area for daycares for our daughter and after seeing a bunch, we knew right away that The Goddard School would be the choice for us. Its a feeling you get - the warm & fuzzies if you will. The moment you walk into The Goddard School you know you are in great hands. They have the best, most up to date security methods in place from a pin-code entry, double doors, cameras, and facial recognition BEFORE you can even get to the children. The lobby area alone is just breathtaking. IPad Stations, a Large TV with childrens photos, books, and an area for families to sit.The entire facility is CLEAN! It smells clean, it looks clean, and they have impeccable sanitizing methods in place in every classroom. It seems like they are ALWAYS getting new equipment for their classrooms to keep the children engaged. Turn over is extremely low, which is hard to find especially in a daycare! Tom, the owner, is onsite daily and takes the time to engage and get to know each family. An onsite owner was one of the things many of the daycares in the area lacked. Their curriculum is unmatched! My daughter has learned so much and looks forward to school every day!If you are looking for a pre-school for your little one and a place that will become home to your family, I highly recommend visiting The Goddard School on Statebridge and see excellence for yourself!

I went on a visit to the infant room and something did not seem right .While everything seemed in order I decided to swing back around and observe from the parking lot ...I was shocked to see that a teacher kissed a child in the mouth .While I am all for affection that is a health concern for me .I also witnessed the neglect of a little boy that was crying for a good five min before calming his self down .the ratio of children to adults was a bit concerning .at one point the infants were taken back inside and a 2 class group exited from two seperate doors I counted 27+ children however there were only 2 teachers present and another young lady that exited and entered the playground frequently .I observed children playing with sticks and placing things in there mouth all while the teachers chatted amongst there self ..I decided to ask a parent that was exiting how they felt about the curriculum .I was shocked to learn that she just had an incident where her son hit his head but it was not reported until she came to pick him up she was mad but held it together pretty well ,especially considering the fact that he was asleep when she arrived ..I felt so bad for her .that was all I needed to here

My son was in the Tigers (12-24months) program for 6 months. During this time he had 4 different teachers. I expected a little transition period at first. However, the last 2 or so months I would have to drag him into the school as he would not even want to walk in. while on vacation, i had other family members drop him off and pick him up. They were NEVER even questioned or asked for ID. My last draw was when i got there they were outside, he was screaming and crying holding his hands up to a teacher. She was so engulfed in a conversation with another teacher, she was completely ignoring him.

When it comes to daycares/preschools you really do get what you pay for. My son started out at discovery zone off jones bridge which cost only $204 a week but it was awful. My son was unhappy and not being cared for properly, plus they werent teaching him anything. I have 2 daughters at The Goddard School and we are very pleased. The entire staff is very nice and things are uber organized. I feel comforted with the level of security (theres a code to get into the lobby from the outside as well as facial recognition to get into the main building from the lobby). We get daily reports of their activities via email and one of the teachers even sends me pictures of my daughter as she participates in various activities throughout the day. I was a little unsure about the fact that there is artifical grass outside however this has turned into a benefit because the kids get the feel of grass without the stains! :)In the spirit of providing a balanced review, a couple of cons are:1. Cost - Its not the least expensive place but we visited several in the area and it seemed to be the cleanest and most organized. Ultimately you get what you pay for and I am very happy with our decision2. Lunches arent included in tuition - You have the option to bring lunch or order lunch from a separate companyLastly, the owner is very involved and is onsite every day. He knows everyones name and they all genuinely care about the kids.
