Great shopping experience! The store was empty! Got what I needed and left!

Went to this store this morning at about 9:30am. Upon entering, I was met with this horrendous smell. It smells as if something died in the store or like a serious sewage problem. I had to grab some paper products but after walking to the back of the store, I felt nauseous. The smell is so bad that I felt like I could taste it and thats with the mask on. Left without purchasing anything. Problem is that I visited this same store maybe 3 weeks ago and it had the same problem. Needless to say, I wont be going back again. The owner or district manager of this store should be embarrassed. I really wanted to call the Village Inspector, OSHA or the EPA regarding the working conditions that the employees have been subjected to but during this pandemic, I know jobs are hard to find. Hopefully someone in a position of authority or decision making reads this and does the right thing and corrects the problem immediately. I wish I could rate the store a negative 5.

Its ok but its need more help in that store in Alsip,il.

Their running out of garbage bags and that they have prices so high 🙄 its sad you cant afford to buy 😔 it

This store is an absolute mess. I wouldve taken more photos but couldnt because there was no way to navigate the crowded aisles. If there was a clear pathway through the aisle a stray box was abandoned there. I understand that their shipment may have come in but theres no excuse for a mess of that magnitude. I couldnt find anything that I was looking for.

Very Rude Store Manager, The place is dirty, not organized, normally out of stock on most things and some of the employees are rude. I went in and spent ALMOST $40.00 on items out of this store and I took a conference call in the parking lot. Instead of one of the employees coming out and asking me to move, THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON ME! I was SO UPSET! The Police Officers AGREED THAT I WAS PLAYING IT SAFE TO TALK ON MY CONFERENCE CALL IN THE PARKING LOT, *****KEEP IN MIND WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO TALK AND DRIVE***** I WAS IN A PARKING LOT WHERE I SPENT ALMOST $40.00 IN MY OPINION I WAS SAFE TO TALK ON THE PHONE THERE. I WILL TELL ANYONE WHO WOULD LISTEN NOT TO SHOP AT THIS FAMILY DOLLAR Also I will be notifying the corporate office the the RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGER was on her phone having a very UNPROFESSIONAL CONVERSATION IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS....

Listen its fine but I went so far apart and both times it smelled like theres a dead body in there. Idk how the employees deal with it. Whatever it is it cant be safe to be breathing

Not good customer service. I Had to stand in line for over 30 minutes with 8 items where the clerk would not call anyone to come help him!

The smell was bad and not a very clean store...needs improvement badly

Male clerk was very helpful when my Paramedic partner and I went there to get folding chairs. He needed a larger weight bearing chair and this guy found him an unopened box that could hold him though it was not on display yet. Clerk was upbeat and friendly. Great experience. EMT-P partner and I left happy.

Good sales and always have most sale items in stock. Always friendly staff

Customer service was great, however the store had a terrible odor. With all of the cleaning products in the store, Id suggest them to clean and use something to clean the air

What an amazing experience I just had while shopping at this Family Dollar on 122nd and Pulaski Delores Stewart Hall and employee was so nice she went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for she had a great spirit I will make sure to always shop in this store because of her. She was wonderful and there should be employees like her everywhere!!!

Today April 29,2018. The staff was very rude. I SIMPLY ASKED DID THEY HAVE FLASH DRIVES. NOBODY IN THE STORE KNEW IF THEY EVEN SOLD THEM. They gave me the run around for about 10 minutes sending me in all different directions. There were 3 associates one was sitting down not doing a thijng the other two were running me around. This is unacceptable. I wont be back here anytime soon. Sincerely pissed off customer.PS DO BETTER.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not apply for a job here youll hate it! The hours suck & the managers suck. Corporate? No such thing. The district manager Ana Marie doesnt give a damn about anything so youre basically wasting your time. The turn over rate is super high, managers and assistant managers and employees quit constantly back to back. There is a new manager every 3 weeks. Theyll hire anyone just to make them a manager. I have came prepared to work one day and the store was closed nobody informed me of anything. There is no structure at this store the store is a hot mess customers complain but the manager doesnt care to fix it. She just wants Uboats done.

The young black manager or so call manager has the worst attitude ever. Ask for a price check and she replies wasnt there a price on it, i wouldnt have asked if it was.

This store has some good deals but its always messy they have a lot of change of staff they have some really good people that used to work there thats no longer there. The store manager was always rude it was times you came to the store and the store is not open on time.
