Called City College to get more information about their nursing program. Secretary who answered was very pleasant, however the advisor I spoke to was awful. Greeted me with “ what Information do you want about the program “ after I told them I was looking for information about the nursing program.Well essentially since I’ve never been to the school I need all the information..,. Cost.... length of program etc. and wasn’t given that.Disappointed on the presentation of information. If you want students to attend your college you need better representation of it.

Extremely disappointed , my daughter was going to go to this school and this school advisor basically told my daughter it was too hard and that she wasn’t cut out for it . Parents if you have a child who wants to go to this school i advise You not to go they are extremely disrespectful and rude and put my daughter in a position where she was told not to pursue her dream pretty much ! I’d rate this a 0 star if i could

I just finished my first semester here at City College, and its okay so far.. But 5 stars to Dr. H Barbara, my microbiology and micro lab instructor. She is the best instructor any student will be bless to have. She is extremely intelligent, and caring. Also, I would like to give 5 stars to Mrs. Gettings, she was my English teacher who taught me Not to write to be understood, but write so I will not be understood.

I just completed my LPN to RN transition at City College. Thanks to the small classroom and the personalized attention, I was able to pass my boards on the first try with only 75 questions! For anyone wondering if they can still work and go to nursing school, its tough, but possible. It will likely be the toughest thing youll do in your entire life, but if you put 100% effort in it, youll succeed! Our class schedules always make it possible for me to still keep my full time job and support my family while in school.

I attended this school awhile ago and seven years have passed by and still havent received my degree. I started out in the EMT classes when the school was on 436. The person that ran that program during that time was awesome. I got in all my hours and finished on time. My down fall was that I missed the state test( mother passing) and I was told that I had to retake the whole course ( more money). So I decided to stay in the school because I thought that it would be easier to keep my credits within the school. So I transferred to the medical assisting program, BAD move. I passed all my classes and the teachers where good. The bad part..... I work a full time job and that being said they could never find me a place to do my internship hours because of me working. The one place they decided to send me was a chiropractor office,( not much medical assisting done there ) in which the doctor was arrested while I was there. So, I am now stuck with a student loan which is over $30,000 that I have to pay back, but no degree!Would I recommend this school to a friend or family........NO. Too much money and a broken dream for me :(

As a attending student here at City College in the business program, I had the chance to further my goals and my life. Though its not always perfect the staffing makes it possible for each and every student to fillful there dreams and make there goals possible. If it wasnt for RJ in admissions I would have never been able to figure out the process to go to school, he really cares about each student and takes the time to walk you through everything step by step(no other college does that). Thank you guys again for changing my life and making my dreams possible.

City college is a great college, im currently a nursing attending the college, all I can say is great things, they care about you and the most important thing it is a small school, you get all the attention you need from your instructor. If you think its a private school you will be getting easy grades, then go somewhere else cause they dont take Cs, only Bs and up and you have to work for it. Actually PJ one of the admission counselor is awsome he is the coolest admission advisor you could ever ask for, He would help you with small things that would make you remember the school. My battery did after night class and he stayed late and helped me restore the battery until it was safe to go home. I really appreciate that. The staff is nice. Miss Donata Johnson too OMG that woman is amazing she is the dream admission advisor you could ever ever ask for. Well I recommend City College to everyone who would like to persue a carreer.

I am not even enroll and I had a nightmare with the admission, just to enroll. Very bad communication, everybody is lost. They just want your money. They makes me waist my money and time for nothing, not a good place to expend 40k for 2 years, when the graduation rating is a 12%, ridiculous!!!Not recommended for anyone..

Disgusting college to say the least, My nephew has told me horrible stories about the unprofessional staff there. Hes mentioned to me on several occasions about some parenti instructor who is in her late 50s and tries to be seductive around him wearing scantily clad forever21 clothing showing her pasty osteoarthritis knees. he says its difficult for him to focus because hes constantly thrown off by her attire, unsure why the college allows anyone to dress in that manner considering its supposed to be a medical learning facility. Also they force classes on you that are unnecessary just to gain more profit. Just despicable, completely and utter trash. All they want is your money, truthfully any private college is only after just that.

I attended this school for several years, a couple years ago I decided to take a term off due to personal reasons and asked for a leave of absence which I was granted. After 1 term off I tried to return only to be told there was a $100 readmission fee that was never discussed with me. After deciding not to go back my husband convinced me that I needed to finish my education. It has now been 4 months since I graduated with my A.S. degree and have yet to receive any sort of diploma. In addition I have decided to continue my education with a more reputable school just to find out NONE of my credits will transfer. Literally over 30k in student loan debt and 2 years of my life down the drain just to hear it was all for not. I have been trying to get answers from the school to no avail, the staff turnover rate is higher than most call centers. My suggestion to anyone considering this school, save your money and go to SSC or Valencia.

I recently took a tour here at City College and was very satisfied with my experience. I was guided by the wonderful Ms. Yolene, who was very helpful and straight forward with me in the most respectful and loving way. I ask a lot of questions and she literally answered every question that I had and if she couldnt she directed me to the person who could. There were no secrets. This college is very clean and everything is in order it is NOT overcrowded and nasty at all. Unlike the school I go to now this College, from the things that are presented in the classroom are VERY VERY VERY hands on. The equipment that they have is up to date and very professional, they also supply you with everything you need. Unfortunately because I am moving a couple of hours away I wont be able to attend this college which sucks. BUT!!! because I was guided in the right direction by Yolene I was able to make a decision about the right career in EMS. So my overall experience was amazing I was blown away by the things I saw and everything this college offers. People like Ms. Yolene are here to lead you to success this is exactly what I wish I had before going to the school I am currently at now. So thank you so much Ms. Yolene for giving me truth and guidance. I really appreciate your time and what you did for me.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I got my degree here and its meaningless if you ever want to transfer to a real college or university. I have had to take 4 classes (so far) over simply because their credit hours dont match up to real schools. Not only that but it costs almost 1.5 times somewhere like SSC per credit hour. We also had to travel 1.5 hours from Altamonte to Lakeland for our clinicals. Dont bother. These people are salesmen and crooks.

Dont wast your time with this school.. I had 3 classes I drop one mind you I never stepped foot in that class the director telling me not to drop it but Im telling her its to much. Once they let me drop it I have to take an F for that class and pay 3000 to take it again.. A state university class dont cost 3000. Oh yes.. if you do fail a class you have to pay that 3000 regardless.

City College has left a bitter taste in my mouth. At first it was a wonderful experience that convinced me to sign up, unknowingly to me that the advisor decieved me, telling me i was approved for financial aid and i just had to sign the papers so i signed the papers only to find out much later they were for students loans. After attending for a semester i figured the school and career choice wasnt for me. I left the school and began to receive mail asking me to return. When i did not reply i began to receive emails and facebook measages from one of the advisors asking me to return to the school. I replied asking him not to contact me anymore, only to be receiving phone calls asking me to return. Even 2 years after i left the school i still receive mail, asking me to return, even though i have moved. I would not recommend this school to anyone. I feel that i am being harrassed by this school even though i have been withdrawn for the past few years.

I was attended with a quality of care that any person would be proud to have. After taking the TABE test, I wondered if I could commit to finishing my Associate in Private Investigations.I started City College almost twenty four years ago, but could not finish due to being employed as a PI and traveling alot. Afyer Seven Heart attacks and two back surgeries, I have decided that I must finish my schooling and get my Diploma of Graduation.Being an Investigator, I used my talents learned from City Colledge to enter this market long ago, and it has taught me that if you want to become an investigator you must commit to finding the truth and the facts that will inevitably lead you as a person to the closing of your personal case, to adapt and overcome is what you will need to become a full fledged investigator.Good luck,it is well worth the studying and the lack of sleep, to be able to one day show your badge and credentials that saids so and so, Private Detective.
