It honestly saddens me to write a review like this about the individuals that take part in molding and educating our children. On the other hand I have to speak up, since enrolling my child in this school its been one issue or another and it all has to do with the staff. My child loves school and is and has always been an honor roll student but the staff that works at this school are extremely RUDE and very disrespectful. These are the individuals responsible for helping us mold upstanding individuals but how are they to do so when some of them are not themselves. I can honestly say that the other negative reviews have some merit because I have not had anything but negative experiances since bringing my child to Spring Lake. Again this saddens me and you would think the administration would ensure that their staff would treat all students and families with respect and some regard, but unfortunately that is not the case; being that some of them are the problem. I moved my child to seminole county because I wanted her to learn in one of the top counties in Florida and be provided an upstanding education but evidently that comes at a price. I am learning now that unfortunately all schools are not created equal.

If you have a child with special needs please steer clear of this school by all means. The staff is not in the least bit helpful. They pride themselves on doing bare minimum as required by law. The Principal Kuniak is on her way out so the school may turn around for the better but as of right now I would not feel comfortable leaving anyones child there under her supervision.My 4 year old Autistic son was suspended from this school due to documented behaviors. When asked why he was suspended the schools response was In hopes that the parent would teach different behaviors at home.I am so sorry I do not know the recipe to the potion that makes your Autistic child not have Autism anymore!

Probably the best elementary school Ive seen to date. The school is very well maintained (at least when I was there) and is very well designed. I had awesome teachers, shoutouts to Ms.Cinato, and Ms.James as my personal favorites when I was there (not sure if they still teach here but why not give them props) Also as far as the cafeteria goes, other then 1 other school I went to this place took good care of the cafeteria, and it wasnt discusting like many other schools.

My niece goes to the school.She says its the best school ever! She is in 3rd grade in Mrs.Mercks class.
