This university is already off to a bad start with me at least. I have been trying to get in contact with admissions for their nursing program the past week I probably called them 15 times and they never answer. I sent one of them an email stating that I been trying to call for a school tour and she completely ignored that part of my email and just told me to send the school my teas transcript, which I had to pay $27 and still no answer whatsoever. I’m getting pretty annoyed that I can’t even get in contact with them and I’m not even enrolled in the school. I’m highly reconsidering going to another school and at this point I think I will have to if the communication is already this abhorrent. Seems like they don’t really care, but on the bright side the one time I did talk to someone she was very helpful and nice but that’s not enough there should be no reason I call that much times and I still can’t get a reply. That’s pathetic.

Technically I am a student out of the Green Bay, Wisconsin location- however I’ve had the pleasure of doing some work with the Orlando FL University location as well, and it’s been an amazing experience. The Academic Dean is more than helpful, and being apart of this University location has been nothing short of wonderful!

Rasmussen is an amazing school. The staff and instructors are always so willing to help whenever questions or concerns arise. The nursing program is one of the best in the area. I personally had a great experience and would highly recommend anyone who is looking to further their education to look into this University. You will not be disappointed.

Rasmussen University is definitely a hidden gem. Ive visited this campus several times, and have always thought its such a beautiful campus in the heart of Altamonte Springs. They offer great programs in-person and online. Prior to COVID-19, I had the chance to participate in several of their community engagements that they hosted on campus and was able to connect with some great people. Their campus director Sharon Richardson is very down to earth, and make a point to engage with everyone in the room. You dont find that at other institutions, I highly recommend their nursing program for anyone who is looking for a career in that field.

This has been the smoothest transition into school Ive ever been part of. This was a phenomenal experience. Jerome Shaw has been an exceptional guide and continues to show great hospitality today. Anytime Ive needed answers, I got them. Everyone staff member I encountered made sure my college experience was beneficial. Thank you Brian Keller for the birthday wishes.

Im very much glad that I chose Rasmussen University. I recently enrolled in the school, and the process has been very smooth. All staff members have been accommodating. I love the professor, and they go all way to help with your questions. It would be more helpful if the cost of the degree were more affordable, but I am still satisfied with the experience I had so far.

Absolutely loved my experience here at Rasmussen. My advisor Jerome has helped me tremendously throughout the whole enrolling process and made a huge effort to guide me and help me in whatever I needed. I admire the support and love I received from all my professors in all my courses and look forward to enrolling again to further my degree.

Please find another nursing program. It’s mandatory to get a level 2 on every ATI in order to graduate the nursing program which is not emphasized when enrolling. They won’t let you sit for the nclex license exam even if all courses were completed unless you get a level 2 on every ATI by a certain deadline or you won’t graduate. Many students have complained and protested over this. No other nursing program requires this, do not waste your time here because they don’t make it realistic to graduate despite overpriced tuition and fooling people into believing they will be able to get their nursing license with the indirect misinformation.

I started at a student at Rasmussen University in 2015, when I obtained my CDA. After having such a great experience, I couldnt imagine another college to continue my education at. I have had an amazing experience, from my admissions advisor, to my advisor, to my professors and peers, everybody has always been my biggest cheerleader, and incredibly supportive if Ive needed them. I have successfully attended college as a mother of three with a full-time job, and have never had a doubt in my mind about being able to do it. Thank you to everyone at Rasmussen University for always letting me be heard, supporting my education journey, and pushing me to do my best!

Honestly one of the worst schools I have ever attended. They are so unorganized and lack support for students. Their virtual graduation, it was just a recording, and the audio was messed up. They didn’t even have all of the names of the people who graduated for that year, including mine. I was disappointing to say the least. They switch your schedule when ever they want and except you to be able to just do anything at the bottom of a hat. Everything they said at orientation was a complete lie. Don’t waste your time or money going to this school. I’m so glad I never have to deal with this school ever again.

Nursing school is not easy you will have to put in the time , they provide what you need to be successful. For the most part i had great instructors ( to many to name). Lakena my advisor was there every step of the way. The dean DR Hamilton also was always available to help. Im so happy i chose this school! Marina G :)

Worst university when it comes to get the students stuff together. You will get financial aid approve and they won’t release your money till after 3 fingerprints with the excuse they don’t use UPS after they actually give you the info for them then they send you to a sketchy place and make you pay out of pocket. Have a problem with a professor advisor will do nothing neither the school. This is the worst school so far.

I am a current nursing student and they are the most on organized unhelpful school I have ever gone to in my entire life. Whatever you were told before you sign up is a lie. Currently today I get an email at 3:38 PM Sunday afternoon telling me my schedule for the next quarter that starts tomorrow which does not match the schedule that is in our system. This is not the first time this is happened. I have been scheduled to be in two classes same time, I have had my schedule changed days before class, and now my schedule is being changed hours before class. Here is the biggest problem as most people I have a job, I have spoke to the advisers and they tell you information and then it continues to change. Do not waste your money or time at the school. My biggest mistake was after the first quarter not leaving and going to another program. I did not want to have to start the nursing program over again but now I wish I would have

I am current nursing student at this campus and I have been to information sessions, orientations and even attended a class for other numerous accelerated programs and traditional nursing programs around the Orlando area and this location is the best! Nursing school is not easy but this school gives you all the tools you need to succeed! With this campus I felt the sense that the faculty and staff truly care about the success of their students because they all are always available to help anyway they can. This past quarter all classes were online but there was no disconnect with education, all my professors taught their classes in a way that worked wonderfully and I was successful. Thinking ahead, after I receive my first degree from here I still see myself attending this school to achieve more, it’s THAT AMAZING here! This place is a rightful investment for anyone who is seeking higher education.

Overall, I had a good experience with Rasmussen. Getting into the program was quick and easy and the programs expectations were doable considering I have three children and had to work part time. I had some amazing professors who truly cared about my success and I feel as though the program really prepared me to pass the NCLEX. The only drawback I would say is that sometimes I would not get my schedule until the week of the semester starting, so I had to be Very flexible.Just like everything, there are pros and cons and the pros outweighed the cons for me, especially because it is super temporary. Worth the investment!

7000 a semester for 11 week nursing classes that provide little resource support, the board staff don’t care about the students but only the professors, and don’t waste your time attending this private school, the anticipated graduation date constantly changes as they alter everything weighted to set us up for failure. I’m not proud to say this is the school I’m stuck in.

Rasmussen college of Orlando was indeed a great school they do work really hard to make sure you get what you need to know knowledge wise to be successful on NCLEX and I know that’s all of us goal is to be a nurse. I have enjoyed my professors the most and they were very good to me. I rate the the program 4 just because the schedule was always mess up some how and never change throughout the whole program and I think that’s what they need to work on but I really recommended Rasmussen if you don’t want to waste your time at a community college

When starting my classes I was very nervous because I had not been in school for many years. I have to say in my experience with Rasmussen staff they made this entire pursuit of higher education effortless. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. The administration works hard to ensure your success with the enrolling process and the professor personalize your experience to make sure no one is left behind. I thank this wonderful staff for all of their help. Because of all of you I will proudly achieve my goals. Thank you all!!!

What can I say? With all that is going on in the world, Rasmussen stepped up to help those whom were furloughed or lost employment due to the current pandemic. I am one of those affected. I felt this was a time for me to reinforce my professional skills but with the convenience of being online. I am glad I have made the decision to attend. From start til now there were some bumps but I cannot complain. Good response team: admission, advisement, and financial aid, etc

I have now been in the Rasmussen college nursing community for a year! I have 3 quarters left in the Accelerated Bachelors of Nursing program. The faculty have been helpful since day one even from just passing the Teas test. Nana Osei-Bonsu worked with me since day one for success into the nursing program. He among the other staff members always greet you with a smile and really go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need to succeed. The Dean of Nursing for Rasmussen, Dr. Alyson Hamilton and the Campus Director, Miss Sharon, have been of great help to myself and my peers to succeed and to encourage us to never give up and keep moving forward through the trying times as nursing students. This school has really made me feel at home. They have a lobby where they allow people bring and leave food/snacks for each other. This is just one small example of how this college is a community. The professors strive to help the students understand the material to apply to real life scenarios in our future as nurses. I look forward to the rest Of my time at Rasmussen and would 10/10 recommend it for Future nursing students in the Orlando area. :)

Rushed me into enrolling, and felt like I was taken advantage of. I came to realize that they’re a FOR-profit, private college and really just want my money. When I un-enrolled my “advisor” who was once very nice and supportive, became completely rude and judgmental. I never got any email confirmation saying I was successfully un-enrolled, and I’m scared they’re going to try to pull a fast one on me.
