Where do u find the ppl u have working for you? thats my first question. secondly i went into the store in alton illinois ok homer adams parkway 2nd time ive had issues with employees just pointing at somthing and saying YUP this will fix all ur problems this last time they sold me a 70 dollar laptop charger saying this was the one so i bought it and sprung for the $14 dollar warrantee But nope it was not the correct charger in fact if i had plugged it in a friend says it would have fried my laptop so i take it back within 30 min and they said my money was placed back on my debit card and in fact it was 5 days later except for the 14.99 warantee so thanks office depot for almost toasting my new laptop and keeping my 14.99 BTW just because someone can act like they know what they are talking about dont mean they actually do goes back to that old saying Dont judge a book by its cover in other words just cuz someone looks like they big harry potter fans and can say big words while they wear velcro shoes dont mean they would make great employees it just means they stuck in they childhood know it alls who are to lazy to tie they own shoes! I called the photo department just to check the updates of my orders. I politely asked if they can help me checking any new update and they talk like I m making it up until I gave them my order numbers.. they didnt even ask my name or if I have order numbers at first. They make me feel like I m annoying them. I only called once and now I dont want to order anything anymore from this place.

I particularly enjoy shopping at the Alton IL location. The staff is friendly, super knowledgeable, and excellent at problem solving and office solutions. As a business owner Ive time and again benefitted from their assistance, and feel like theyre business partners with a stake in my success.

I had a cookbook binded from hardback to spiral. Was expecting to be expensive and wait for a week or to to get back... I was surprised. They did an awesome job.. Very reasonably priced. Only took a couple days. Because they has a few ahead of me.. They take pride in their work and are very friendly.. Thank you office depot....

I must say, this group of employees are the best you can as for. They are VERY PROFESSIONAL. My travel there is well worth it...I can not say this enough and the young lady CAT is remarkable...she cares about her work as well as the customers. Office Depot need more employees like them!

There store is nicely set up. Everything is organized as it should be. Someone did offer to help me and was able to get me what I needed immediately. Unfortunately, after I got back to school the product didn’t work (not Office Depot’s fault though). That was highly disappointing.

I love this store. I live in Missouri but I shop at alton because they take care of me. I recently needed some pink copy paper and they didnt have at store by me. I called alton and they not only had it they pulled it and I got a great price. Thanks Liz Flynn and rest of staff. 👌👌👌👌👌

The employees here are truly kind and care about giving you excellent service. I highly recommend this location. I have never had a need that they couldnt help me with, and if it wasnt something their store carries, they always have told me other places that could help. Im impressed with these people

Overall, good store.Clean, well stocked, knowledgeable staff.If you have something special you are trying to do or set up, ask for Sarah. The level of customer service she brings to the store is absolutely first rate. If it can be done, she will find a way. She is the reason I drive to the store, and pay sales tax instead of just buying stuff on line.

I absolutely love every time I do print services here. I dont do it often but when I do the service is great. I called before putting in a print order and Cat was so helpful and did a great job. Gave me a few options to work with which was way more than expected being that I just wanted an image printed on some cardstock. I always get more than I ask for at no extra cost. Glad I chose the Alton store to do my printing.

I use this location (printing department) for a lot of my business needs, they are always so helpful. This last time I used them it was for invites for a client. We needed them ASAP so I couldnt use the print lab I normally use. I was a little nervous because this job was for a client. I delt with Mark mostly, he was amazing through out this whole process!! My client just called and told me how much she LOVED her invites! Its so comforting knowing I have a print source that is knowledgeable with quality work and fast return time! Thank you to Mark and all other employees!

Cat was the best!!! Her customer service is next to none. She deserves a raise no matter what she is getting paid. Always take good care of great employees .

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The service was awesome. They greeted you with a smile.

Not much in stock. I went in for desk trays, and found only one of most designs. Since this is a product you usually stack a few of I found that frustrating. This is what generally leads me to shop online rather than waste time in stores, but I do try to support them if I can. I wanted 5 trays, but only found 4 that matched, and not in my first color choice. They werent ones you could mix and match, so Ill have to hope theyre in stock in another store.

The employees were friendly and helpful. The price I paid for my item was reasonable.

The workers here are very nice. Anytime I need help somebody helps me find what Im looking for. I brought my laptop in to get some stuff fixed on it and the guy installed my class files to my laptop.

The associate we dealt with was amazing. He made everything we needed done seem easy.

Helpful female associate helped me pick out a new printer. No guys to help me load, a guy in the parking lot help me, not an employee.

I was very satisfied with the service I received. The cashier was prompt and very freindly. When a cashier gives you a smile while she is helping youthat makesyour shopping more enjoyable.

Everything you need for an office can be found. The staff is helpful. Slightly over priced on some things. The rewards program isnt helpful at all.

The lady that check me out went out of her way to help even called otherstores to see if they had what I needed a quick claim deed

I bought a few computers from this place. The Brand New Lenovo Flex 3, the first one 8 bought, got it home tried setting it up took an an half cause the Hard Drive was damaged(New out the box) even with Tech Support. I took it back, and hot another one, same brand, got it home, same problem, called tech support n they took over my laptop trying to fix the problem, finally told me the Hard Drive was no good so I returned it and got a refund. The store manager, a very short bald headed creep told me that I couldnt purchase another laptop from their store. Went to Best Buy and bought a top line Asus for half the price and have not had ONE single issue. As for the creepy bald headed supervisor, well he doesnt know that my mom is very good friends with his District Manager.

Poor customer service. Every time I try to use my rewards certificates the Alton location cant seem to get it to go thru. They just hand you a brochure and say next. Office Depot has a very poor rewards system when staff cant/wont help and thr corporate help availability is very limited. Working people have no opportunity to reach out for help to fix problems.
