Alvin Community College is a beautiful campus. Very well lit at night and a spacious parking lot. Located just south of the city with a few means of egresses from major roads. ACC is one of the best community colleges in the area.

Today was the first day and everyone and the staff members were wonderful..

I go to walk! I like it for the most part...sometimes I hate when people let their dogs poop on the walking trail! Dogs should only be allowed in the grass/ dog park and not on the walking areas! Idiot owners should have to pay for their animals because of the few that dont pick up after their pets so that someone can be paid to clean the mess up! Nice people! Great walking area!

Keep Alvin Beautiful greeted at the Alvin City Fall cleanup. Texas Pride and others showed up 2 collect all kinds of trash and recycle. Really impressed with everybody that I got to work with as they had a great attitude and even though most were new to the event they jumped in and made things work well. Really proud of everybody who participated and made this a great event and keeping our city sparkling

The volunteers, they made the Halloween so much fun. My grandson noah loved it, he was so 😊 happy.

Great place to take classes. My son takes classes here in the summer to transfer to his 4 year university. He has enjoyed all of his professors. I like the school because they have a great enrollment process. Theyve got a waiting area and they call you up by name and clearly post your name on monitors. I only give 4 stars because of their police department. If you pull through a parking space-ticket. They watch every vehicle and the slightest parking lot infraction can bring a quick ticket. Theyre using it as a money generator. Youve got to read their police handout. A lot of rules are in place that arent posted and a visitor can quickly find themselves ticketed. Weve switched to College of the Mainland and weve been happier.

What makes ACC an awesome school is all the support and tutoring for any of your classes!

Perfect for what I needed it for. I took the GED classes and then was able to test there for all four tests. The lady that monitors all the GED tests super nice too. The two GED teachers were both nice and helpful whenever I needed it.

This school was once good. I received my associates degree here and had no issues. I recently came back for the summer to take an anatomy class and have had an awful experience with the professor. When I went to the Dean with several other classmates, absolutely nothing was done to even try to help us in the slightest. Save your money and go to San Jac where they actually care about your education.

Phenomenal Education Center they offer a very wide degree base everything from welding and your career tech classes to law enforcement business education and of course they rank in one of the highest nursing schools in the whole country ACC has something for your educational needs sign up for classes or take some online. Huge amount of parking local apartments close by for out-of-town students. Up-to-date technology and up-to-date facilities one of the best community colleges in the country hands down.

My journey here is almost to an end and I am compelled to say that I will truly miss this school. The staff cares genuinely about their student body, I have always received such positive reinforcement from my professors. I felt like I belonged here, and never dreaded coming to class. Dr. Barnett is beyond the sweetest professor Ive had. She is constantly urging students to stop by her office or call her with any questions regarding the course plan and any material in class you arent so clear on. Shes willing to help in any way, shape, or form to ensure every student gets the help they pay their hard earned money for. I love this place!!

I was told by the piano professor to go and die. Im now suicidal. I was also severely bullied and innapropriatley groped. The staff does everything straight off the book. Poor education level. I feel blessed to have gotten out of there and gotten my degree. Im glad the bullying is over.

Front office is great,financial aid office messed up and lost some of my transcripts, but overall its a good college. My online classes some of my teachers post assignments but dont put on there how to send it in, that is very frustrating to me.

Two hours I waited in the Math Lab to get tutoring for the only class I had trouble with, no one could be bothered to come over even after I had confirmation that someone would be with me shortly. Ended up leaving because I had to go to work and tried to do the class on my own and failed the courseDNF my degree because of this, the student run parts of this program are terrible

Regret so much transferring from my community college to here. I thought since is smaller it would be more one to one with Professors.2 of my 3 professors suck. Big NO! First my online professor sucks at communicating, posting things on blackboard etc. NO COMMUNICATION. My old college we had notifications of things being posted or open on blackboard. Takes forever to reply back. Second, don’t take any science class there. They don’t even have communication between their professors. My professor didn’t even have their turninID for us to post our paper. Department didn’t even give them our first test. They had to make their own. Really? What kind of management is that? Lastly, you can’t even park reverse 😂 $10 ticket. Does it even matter how you park if us students are there to get an education. I mean if I was parked in a faculty parking I get it. Maybe have some signs around campus that says “no backup/reverse parking”.Only good thing about this experience is my lifespan psychology professor is awesome. Professor helps you out. Motivates you. Down to hearth.My first & last semester going to ACC. Better off at SanJac, heck even COM would probably better.FYI they charge $7 for transcripts request.

Is baytown considered out of district ? For your campus and if so what are your fees
