We started our BJJ journey in January of 2019. My son was really wanting to try BJJ and after his first class he was hooked. Coach Mike and Coach Alex really know how to get youths attention and to focus. My son has ADD and BJJ has help him learn to focus and calm his mind. My daughter and I started in June and cant be happier. Kayla decided to quit cheer and gymnastics and only do BJJ. She gets upset if she misses a class and begs to go on Saturdays.The confidence that we have all gained from our training at Infinity BJJ is unmeasurable. I am not as stressed at work or at home in our crazy elementary and high school crazy life schedules. I have toned up and trimmed down.At Infinity BJJ age is not an issue. I was 46 when I first stepped on the mat and I never felt uncomfortable or intimidated. Everyone is welcoming and encouraging. Several times I just could not figure out an exercise and other teammates quickly came over and worked with me to help me get it right. Everyone respects and encourages each other. Everyone is family.If you ever want to feel like you are part of something that is more than just a work out - this is the place for you.

BJJ isnt for everyone but EVERYONE can do BJJ. If you are interested in BJJ and have ever wanted to try it this is the place to do it. We hear it often in class the most important person in each class is your training partner you happen to be rolling with. In other words there is mutual care/respect given and received for everyone in class. What I have experienced in spades from Infinity BJJ each class I have attended is a sense of community/camaraderie, a great workout, technical BJJ skills, encouragement, and great time!! The only way you will feel pushed at this gym is when you are training and that push will be to dig deep and keep going-building fortitude!

Infinity BJJ Alvin has been a lifesaver for my son (age 14). He is not athletic at all and the gaming world is taking over his social life. When he visited Infinity, he found his spot. He loved it. He is more confident in himself and it has helped to build his self-esteem. I am super proud that he is doing a physical activity, learning self defense skills, building muscles, making friends and having a great time. He has two awesome coaches…Coach Mike and Coach Alex. They give him individual attention to help develop the moves he is learning. Blessing that he is not sitting at home…gaming… He is learning life long skills that he will need of for the rest of his life. Infinity BJJ Alvin is a family and we are proud to be a part of it.

Infinity BJJ in Alvin has an awesome environment. I was brand new walking in and everyone is very welcoming but serious about their own self development. My daughter has trained at multiple gyms and she loves it here. She feels relaxed and focused. The coaches are great and treat each student with compassion, authenticity, and accountability . She has been training for years and no one ever noticed that she was left handed. Coach Mike recognized it immediately and made adjustments that helped her tremendously.

This gym and its staff have been a blessing to my wife,daughter, and myself. Coach Mike and Coach Alex have worked wonders for my daughter. To me this is the place to go because you have to earn what you get nothing is given.

First Class for all ages, gender, etc.,,,,,, I took my 6 & 10 year old nephews there to play in “open play” he offers as well, no cost & had the time of our lives there for a few hours. I started training at Infinity Bjj in Alvin about a month ago and it has been amazing. Training in Bjj is teaching me to step outside my comfort zone and push myself and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I can’t say enough about the amazing people I’ve met. Infinity changed my sons life. He went from barely making it in school and sometimes being bullied to having tons of confidence and learning skills that he can use throughout his life. Jiu Jitsu teaches him to be calm and at the same time letting him unleash all the energy he needs to release. The team including students, coaches and family members are all like a big family. I walked into Infinity BJJ in Alvin on the first day and was greeted by several people. One gal had trained there several months, it was one gentlemans 1st day and another was my vet! They answered all my questions and were very helpful! I also bombarded Coach Mike and Coach Alex with tons of questions since I had no idea what Jiu jitsu was. After my 1st class (self defense/ jiu jitsu) I was hooked! They take their time to show you everything! You move at your own pace and they encourage you the entire way! Im completely addicted, my body feels fantastic and I love all the people here. They are all friendly, helpful and professional! I am so grateful I walked in the door! Highly recommend and encourage others to just come try it! Hope to meet you one your 1st day! Who would have thought I would start training in Jiu jitsu at 39! (So glad I did)

This facility is AMAZING! The kickboxing class with coach Aaron is phenomenal and I havent felt this great or had this much energy since I was a teenager! My daughter is in the kids jiu-jitsu program and is loving every minute of it. Not one day has she not wanted to go. The staff is very friendly and is really a team and has wonderful moral standards. You feel at home when you walk through the doors. Highly recommend this facility!!

I popped into Mikes place about a year ago because it was close to where I lived and a teammate recommended it to me. This teammate was highly skilled and decorated competitor so I took him seriously. Mike was a super nice, welcoming guy. Over the past year Ive seen Infinity develop both a program and a competitive team that will change the face of bjj in the Alvin area. Highly recommend this place if youre a beginner, or if you want to continue your jiu-jitsu journey.

But Im here to tell you, I dont know these people from Adam, but on my first day visiting this school, these wonderful people have been amazing!!! I truly love the family atmosphere and how everyone makes you feel welcome. I have never trained in Bjj before and I was a little skeptical, but everyone, no matter their rank was willing to show me every move step by step. Infinity BJJ in Alvin, Texas has been such a life changing experience for me. I had been off the mats for 2 years and was really nervous about getting back into Jiu Jitsu but after talking to Mike about my fitness and Jiu Jitsu goals I decided to come back to Jiu Jitsu. I’m so glad I found this place, the coaches, Mike and Alex “Fast Lane” Lane are fantastic coaches and both still compete at the sports higher levels, so the information we receive as students has been tried and tested in competition. I personally have lost 40 pounds and at 56 years old, feel better than I have in a long time. If your looking for great jiu jitsu come join our family here at Infinity BJJ in Alvin Texas

I cannot remove my previous review , so I have to leave this here... I was a member of Infinity Jiu Jitsu in Alvin. I am not and never was a member of 3rd coast jiu jitsu project, and since I was never a member, cannot recommend this place. Infinity is closed, but 3rd cost Jiu Jitsu Project took over ownership of infinitys website and facebook, and has all of the reviews previously posted for Infinity.

Ive been a member at this gym for about 4 months. Ive never been a very athletic person, but Coach Mike and my training mates at Infinity are patient, encouraging, and knowledgable as they teach me more about the awesome sport of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I leave each class excited about a new skill learned, sweaty from a good work out, and a little more confident than the day before. If you are looking for a welcoming atmosphere for all levels of BJJ, check this place out!
