Unrealistic bill due dates. Bad customer service if you call for help. My bill gets to my mailbox about 7 days after the billing date. The bill is then due 4 days later. If I mail a check the next day after I receive it I get a late fee. How can they not give you a reasonable amount of time to pay your bill? Seems like they intentionally want to collect late fees. I called and asked them to adjust my billing date and they would not help and really did not care. Then I tried to setup auto pay but could not since I had a balance from the late fees.

Asked twice to have 2 bills combined into one. They have the sewer on my late husbands account which he never had one and when the upgraded their software BAM there it was an account on a deceased man. I called and asked if I could combine them again and explained he never had an account that I did. She put me on hold for a long delay then come back on and said she was informed that I would have to talk to drainage about it since it was a double lot and they both have sewer drainage. I dont have time to go from person to person just to take care of their damn mistake of adding another account on a dead man. Ridiculous

I was rarely able to get ahold of someone because they were “experiencing such high call volume” EVERY time I called. Someone might call me back anywhere from 3 days to one week, and that’s IF they called me back. It took them 5 months to get my payment figured out and my address correct. I finally had to go down there because I couldn’t get anyone on the phone. It was a ridiculous experience. I think they definitely need to hire people that take pride in their work.

These website changes are so frustrating!!!Just when you think you have it finally figured out, you dont. And now I gotta jump through even more hoops just to pay my bill. This is way too complicated. And absolutely ridiculous!

I clean office. As much as I dislike paying utility Bills, I know I will have a friendly and pleasant experience when I stop in.

Took forever to talk to someone. First person didnt want to help so just so she put me back on hold. Next person hated her life and I just inconvenienced her that much more by asking questions. Get someone working there that knows how to talk to customers that I wont inconvenience with my need for water.

The upgrade to the system has been hell. Cant view or pay my bills. What a huge pain

OCT 2020 - DOUBLE BILLED $ 25 (= $ 50) for New Service. Bad first impression of Amarillio Utilities. The $ 25 overcharge was acknowledged and assured an adjustment of $ 25 would be made. However, my online account still shows the unadjusted amount to be paid. Im hoping this doesnt turn into an argument;It didnt. Billing adjustment done by end of day.
