One of the best Martial Arts places I have ever experienced. They have true integrity and know the meaning of respect.

I had to leave another review because Today I was being picked on and one of those people grabbed my wrist! After that I used a self defense that master Gorino taught me! If anyone is reading this review and thinking to join master Gorinos Teakwondo I would highly recommend!

First day of instruction, and felt right at home. I have never taken martial arts before. As a complete beginner I have confidence that Master Gorino will turn this old guy into a good Taekwondo student. Looking forward to my future!

Great place for children to learn discipline and have fun. The teachers are great and the kids had a blast. Many nationally recognized instructors. Highly recommend.

I started TaeKwonDo 1 and a half years ago from today, but when I got to blue stripe I left because of COVID! While I was home I always thought to my self when am I going back, I sat in my room doing nothing but lay around watch tv. But January 15th 2021 I jumped back into action! Very fun & challenging

I have belonged to Master Gorinos school for 5 years; in this time I have grown mentally and physically. Master Gorinos positive reinforcement approach to teaching is genuine and appealing to me. Yes I can take care of myself, but it is much more than being able to defend myself. Master Gorinos school is filled with amazing people and we feed off each others energy, compassion and desire to lead full lives. If you think I am joking then come find out for yourself; it will change your life:)

Great place for learning how to exercise and hone your body, if you make 50k+ a year. Its the best Karate Mill in Buffalo, but still a Karate Mill. They charge you large amounts of money for small goods or services every step of the way; just like every other school. The staff all instruct you a bit different, which can be very helpful and sometimes confusing. And so progress toward honing a single technique can be very slow. Master Gorino holds his own local tournament, where he rakes it in. He encouraged me to go, and even gave me a discounted price. Later on for the next one, he announced to the class and newcomers that the first one is always free. Mine wasnt. Shady business were they act like theyre supporting you. You may think the few thousand dollars in tuition is doable, but it quickly climbs by hundreds of dollars to continue - with mandatory participation in purchases. Master Gorino is an excellent role model; one who talks to you equally and wisely. He teaches valuable and easy to digest life lessons as you go. The environment is great, and the staff members are very friendly. Very good environment for children to learn discipline and start the martial arts at a young age. Ive learned enough of basics and intermediate to take that knowledge to Youtube to further my knowledge. That may sound dumb, but if you study for enough years and hone your body, then it can certainly be done effectively. Im done with the abusive relationships that Karate Mills offer.

I have been going to Master Gorinos Tae Kwon-Do for almost 3 years. It has truly transformed me; physically, mentally, and emotionally. It is a lot of hard work and a investment both in time and money, but I have enjoyed every minute of it. You earn everything and nothing is given to you. They have a true support system and we are like a family who is always there for one another. No matter how young or old you are, you will thrive in this school and have fun doing it!

I have found Master Gorinos a great place to train and there are multiple well educated instructors to learn from. My family looks forward to every class we go to as we are provided with a multitude of positives including self discipline, attitude changes, a great workout, contributions to different organizations such as western ny heroes, and overall producing productive members of society.

My wife, two children and I have been training here for almost 10 years. We love the consistent high quality, professional instruction as well as the amazing Tae Kwon-Do family that weve joined. One day I was randomly invited by a friend to attend a women’s self defense class! I loved it so much that I joined and am now a yellow-stripe Tae kwon do artist! My son brcame a member of the master gorino team about a month ago and he loves it, all the instructors are so patient and nice and they start with strengthening the mind than the body i love it! They also touch on anti bullying!

Master Gorinos is an excellent school! He is flexible and very respectful, with a great sense of humor. It really helps build respect in the dojang but also for home and school. They are taught defensive skills and anti-bullying talks often. They are firm but because they care so much. The families of staff and students are there for each other. My daughter has ADHD and ODD and while I always knew that martial arts was going to help, it took awhile to convince her of that. Even though weve only been a part of the family for 2ish weeks, I can already notice a difference. Its really subtle right now and I know the changes will get more and more noticeable as time goes on, but its still there. They are extremely patient with her, even on bad days. Master Gorino and the other instructors try everything to engage her and build up her confidence with positive reinforcement, all while teaching her respect. I know that the right decision was made bringing her to Master Gorinos because of his massive amount of experience, both with children, and with Tae Kwon Do. Thank you!!

I have been taking TaeKwon-Do for a little over a year at Master Gorinos. I really enjoy all of the different phases of his classes. Self defense, great workouts and kickboxing drills. Im in the best shape Ive ever been in and feel better prepared to defend myself. Theres alot more but a huge positive is the comeraderie and family atmosphere. I started with a free month and its the best thing I ever did. I would recommed this school to anyone looking for good martial art training.
