I only needed 1 more week and a month of externship to finish with the program when the school all of a sudden was closed, The staff in the school Ms Ferrante, Ms Donahou, Celine all lied to the students making lies after lies, not providing us with any updates what so ever. Even after receiving a letter from the New York State Educational department saying that the school is closed the staff keeps on holding saying that it will open up, they’re not in the same page with proving the same information some say it’s closed other day they’re waiting to re-open, Brandford hall was unprofessional since the first day of class and I regret ever going to that school. They just care about the money!

After our classes were completed, we were going to our externship sites i did 115 hours and then got hired on a condition if I complete my externship hours had a few more hours to do then I received a call from school that school is under new management and they don’t have insurance to run the school so i can’t go to externship site anymore where i am about to get a job. I waited so long my manager from the externship site was so stressful and so was I because they were trying to run a business and i was trying to get a job. After 1 month my externship site decided to go out of the contract and hire me without externship hours completion i got lucky from there but still i don’t know how do I complete my graduation. I am so stressful now i have to contact another school for transfer and pay them extra plus what i have already paid. This school didn’t even sent a notice that we are closed but I received a notice from New York state of education board that they are closed and dumped us. I am gonna follow up with a lawyer. I don’t recommend anyone to even look at this school.

Ms Ferrante is extremely professional knows a computer better than anybody. She works more hours than you could imagine and helps all students concerns. She got her position because of all the hard work and years she’s been at the school all the sacrifices and dedication she deserved it MORE than any other person!!!!!! She is always busy and works way to hard to be criticized by lies she don’t even leave to take a break she eats when she’s able to get a chance that’s how hard she works.. most importantly her position there’s nobody better than her who can do it because she relates and knows how to talk to us students, one of the most professional people who is an inspiration to all of us.. a true role model someone who you can always go to and know she’s got your best interest she’s dedicated her time life etc for her position! Facts stop with the insults! She’s one reason why I keep coming to school and I can speak of most of the students it’s her motivation and genuinely cares.

After completing and paying for this school, it closed and was unable to complete the internship.. nobody has the students back.. extremely unhappy and will be following with a lawyer...

They lied to their students about the school closing down. Emptied the building without informing any of the students whatsoever. They kept signing up students knowing that the school was going down. Teresa Donohue and Stacey lied to the students about opening again.

It is a false representation of Ms.Ferrante, she is a true gem!Ms. Ferrante always strives to do her very best and puts her heart into every situation that she handles. She is constantly at the school working, even when she doesn’t have to be there. She treats everyone with professionalism and respect. She is always checking up on students and helping anyone with open arms.The comment about “wasting company time” is an ABSOLUTE LIE! If anything, she puts in way more time and doesn’t even leave the school for her lunch/dinner breaks...I didn’t know eating dinner (ON HER BREAK) with hot sauce would cause someone to write a nasty review. I believe the comment was written with malicious intent and it shouldn’t be taken seriously because it is false information.Most of the staff here are very great people and they fill your toolboxes with what you need to succeed! It is all up to you at the end of the day!!!!

Branford hall amityville is such a great school the environment is so professional everyone is so welcoming and caring they make sure that you succeed! This was a great choice for me to do I’m a medical assistant here and I’m achieving my goals all because of the great teachers staff administrators!!!! One particular person who has always been there to help me succeed and guide me is Ms Ferrante special thanks to you because seeing you everyday keeps me coming to school your so professional and you help ALL the Students and you handle any concerns issues we have!!!! You work so hard and you deserve everything that you worked so hard for. Great role model and we all look up to you because your such a strong women and go over and beyond for the school... Haters are your motivation they want to be like you because your such a beautiful women there’s not 1 thing anybody can say bad about you because you do your best!! Omg this is school is amazing I’m telling you that my experience going to Branford Hall is a life change they teach you everything you need gives you the help and most of all they care for your future trust me when I say this school rocks and I went here for both programs

I been going to Branford hall MS. FERRANTE, MS SMITH N DOCTOR LEROY are my favorite teachers, they push you to do your best, Ms ferrante is always willing to help people and is always there to talk if need be, I def recommend Brandford hall

Very unprofessional school instead of treating students like the adults they are, they belittle you and treat you like children. Cut you off mid conversation and call you disrespectful for trying to regain control of a conversation in which they would interrupt.Miss.Stacy claims to be your partner but only proves that she’s really against you considering that doesn’t even have time for the students to assist them for externship she pushes you to the next day but the next day never comes,but you’ll always catch her outside smoking cigarettes. Disgusted and let down.

Today i have the job that i have and i want thank Branford Hall for that... So I will like to give a shoutout to Mr. Tapalla ,Dr.Leroy and Ms. Ferrante And Mr. O for there Pushing and Guidance!!! They give it there all and makesure that there Students are taught well!!!

Branford hall is honestly one of the best experiences that I have ever had everyone took good care of me while I was there teacher made sure I knew what I was doing while I was there and Ms. Ferrante was one of the few who knew how to handle situations when they would occur there, she’s very well capable of handling a computer and as for that whole comment I just saw about the hot food contest she is allowed a 1hr break so I can grantee that she would never steel company time even tho it’s been awhile since I’ve been there I see that the staff has not changed at all all still caring love and very supportive they all mean well even if they might not show it. And for the people using this review page to bash the school you know where the office is go handle it like an adult not everyone’s experience there is going to be the same either you put up or shut up everyone’s there to do THEIR JOB and just in case we didn’t catch that I’ll say it again ok stay with me now they’re there to do their what oh yeah THEIR JOB!!!!!!!!They’re not your friends their job is to supply a education and provide an externship site that eventually turns into a job opportunity nobody in that school is out to get nobody

I’m a currently a night student and i have to say this is such an amazing school I’m in my 4 mod and by far the best experience. I went to Hunter and it was horrific they don’t teach you the staff there is unprofessional and what a disgrace Hunter is!!!! So when i say coming to Branford hall in Amityville is fantastic there all professional they actual care and do there best. When i see reviews on there nothing bad you can say about this school and if your a student saying anything bad about the school staff administrators faculty or the most kindest care professional Ms. Ferrante who is always attending and handling students and professors concerns then you as a student are not here for an education because she’s always the person who handles any issues with students and professors. Ms. Ferrante your amazing and haters are going to hate because you SUCCEED let that motivate you. Coming to school and seeing Ms. Ferrante is a blessing she makes the school a great place to be!!!!!!!!

I can honestly say that Branford hall career institute in Amityville was the BEST decision I ever made in my life!!! This school by FAR has been my best experience ever! From the moment I enter the campus I knew I felt at home they are so welcoming and supportive it’s family they go over and beyond to assist whatever concerns you have. If you are a student and want a great career BHCI is the place. I don’t go based on reviews because I once attended Hunter and it was the worse decision I made. I have to say Miss Ferrante she is inspirational she treats all students the same and she has an open door policy no matter how busy she is she is going to be that person to guide you in the best possible direction she truly is an Angel. I am a 56 year old student here at branford hall since Sept 18 and I have made the right choice to get my education here at branford hall , I am in my 6th module learning phlebotomy and venipunture right now and all my teachers have reminded me of my professors at college the way they teach and encourage my participation , most importantly Miss Ferronte , Miss Jeane, Miss Donugue , Candice , Miss Stacey have all been so encouraging and helpful since the first day I walked into Branford Hall, I made the right decision to come here , I can walk up to any one of them at any time and ask them for help or just to talk , and that means the world to me , Miss Ferronte as well as everybody has been nothing but encouraging and supportive since I have been here , I am almost done to become a medical Assistant and it is because of the teachers and staff and the support system they provide here is why i am going to be successful , if anybody who reads this post is serious about medical Assistant or medical biller there is no better place to be at , i highly recommend this school and i highly recommend to come here and see for yourself , i am a current student here and it is the best decision i have made in the last 10years , come and see for yourself , because if i can do it , you can to.

I THINK I MADE THE BEST DECISION BY ENROLLING IN BRANFORD HALL CAREER INSTITUTE. AT FIRST I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT THERE, BUT A DAY LATER, I FELT LIKE I DO BELONG THERE, THAT WAS MY PLACE. THEY HELPED ME OVERCOME MY FEARS, THE SCHOOL BELIEVED IN ME MORE THAN I BELIEVED IN MYSELF. THE TEACHERS ARE VERY HELPFUL, VERY PROFESSIONAL, THEY ARE ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU. AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT STUDENTS NEED. I NEVER SAW MYSELF AS A MEDICAL ASSISTANT, BUT NOW I DONT SEE MYSELF BEING SOMEBODY ELSE. WITH THE HELP OF EVERYBODY I LITERALLY MOVED THE MOUNTAINS. COMING FORM CLEANING HOUSES FOR A LIVING I NOW WORK IN A MEDICAL FIELD, TO ME IT IS A LOT. I HOPE IT WILL SAY SOMETHING WHO HAS DOUBTS BY GOING TO SCHOOL OR NOT, THAT BRANFORD HALL CHANGES LIFE. They have some awesome teachers that work here it just seems that the administrative staff dosent care too much tho.Cant reccomend it

Great school, staff is very supportive nice and will help in any area even if it has nothing to do with school. Extern placement and job placement. If you give 110 expect 110 in return. Recommended to those who are serious about thier future.

Terrible customer service! I needed a transcript to receive financial aid at college. I called and they transferred me to the director who told me she would ask the financial aid lady and call me back. Six weeks later and multiple attempts at calling and leaving messages and being told she was not available, I gave up. I called the cooperate office whom I paid my ridiculous $500 debt too, and they were happy to help me. I only went to this place for a week and left because they were a joke. So glad I did not stay.

I completed this school in 2012. Trying to get transcripts from them is like pulling teeth. They have NO idea what they are doing. I have been calling them left and right!
