Very sad to know what this school USED to be like and to see what it has now become. My oldest began Kindergarten here and attended thru 3rd grade, while my youngest only attended Kindergarten thru 1st grade. It used to be such a great charter school, but as soon as the original receptionist left and the principal changed, things rapidly went downhill. In our last three years at White Pine, the attitude and atmosphere here became so progressively toxic that we saw and experienced things I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy. After realizing that nothing was ever going to improve under the current administration/staff and that my kids and I were in a living hell, we ultimately decided to leave White Pine and never look back. Its still one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

I went to this school for five years of my school career. It was the best school that I have ever gone to. The teachers were all amazing and helpful and they allowed me to work at my own pace and they even allowed some of us to be in an advanced group in our separate classes. This school helped me to actually learn which is something that I valued. If I had the chance I would definitely go back. I remember learning the school song and I thought that it fit the school perfectly. White Pine Charter School, the best place you can be, White Pine Charter School has lessons just for me. At our charter school the teachers are the best. White Pine Charter School W.P.C.S. oh White Pine Charter School W.P.C.S. Yes!

I hate the school my children have had nothing but problems here my 10 year old daughter was not allowed to leave the classroom and ended up at peeing in her pants. I also found out that my younger daughter gets put in timeout multiple times a month and I am never informed about it. How am I supposed to help keep my child in line if they dont tell me whats going on. I ended up pulling my kids because their grades were bad and the teachers wanted nothing to do with me in helping them get their grades up. I do not recommend this school to anyone!!!
