Beautiful bright clean space that’s constantly updating to keep things from getting boring for those of us that have been coming often ever since they opened! I recommend getting the annual family pass so you can use kids town as your rainy day, it’s too cold outside to play day, I don’t feel like staying at my house day plan:) when people come to town it’s one of the first places that I take them if they have small children. We are extremely fortunate to have a place like kids town in Idaho Falls

Great place for young kids. Age 1-9 would be the best age to best use the facility. Lots of hand on activities and an enclosed area for 24mo and younger so they cant wander away. Staff was disinfecting the entire time we were there. The preschool there is so cute and imaginative. There are 2 bathroom stalls. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

It seems that each time I go there its dirty. The staff is never helpful either, simply telling us that it isnt cleaning time, far too overpriced and it isnt any safer than an actual playground, there is often nobody at the front desk to check us in, when you do see the staff theyll ask you to make sure you watch your kids and keep them from running but they never enforce this, making it a miserable experience, even my son doesnt want to return.

We just moved to the area and are so glad we found Kids Town. We signed up for an annual membership after our first visit after I had a hard time getting Eli and Piper to leave after being there for hours. I love that they let you bring in your own snacks and food. The facilities and play equipment are very clean and well kept. I would highly recommend Kids town to any family in the area with young kids.

Way fun place to go for indoor entertainment for children! They have an area to drive little cars, a pirate ship, a submarine, a fairy-tale castle, a volcano, dinosaur and even a musical area. So many fun and different play areas so there’s a lot of options of fun activities and toys. For a year season pass it’s only $125 which I think is an incredible value. This place d is going to be our go to indoor winter activity.

This is a great place to bring younger children (0-10 years old) for birthday parties. There is a ton of fun things to do. There is a large castle, a pirate ship, a post office, a fire station, and a large dinosaur with a slide. In addition, there are lots of stations where kids can interact with race cars, air pressure tubes, and oversized blocks. We rented a birthday party room for our daughter and we were privided with a karaoke machine, a puppet show booth, and picknic tables. The price for 2 hours was about a hundred bucks. All in all, all of the kids in the party had a great time. Im sure well come back.

Very cute place and fun for little ones. A few things were broken, but there was lots more to play with anyway. They have a mask policy, but dont enforce it at all, especially for adults, which was frustrating.

My 3 year old loved it. Our 6,8, and 10 year old? There’s really not much for them to do. Especially because several of the exhibits were broken and/or missing crucial pieces. The fact that it cost us over $40 means we won’t be back. I wouldn’t recommend for families unless you only have very young children and don’t mind spending $7 per adult to simply follow them around.

My kids have had birthday parties there the last 2 years. They have different characters to dress up as my boys really love seeing the dinosaur and Batman characters. The kids had so much fun that they didn’t want to eat the pizza and cake. They set up and decorated the party room and cleaned it up afterwards causing me not to be stressed about anything at the party.

I thought this place was very clean and lots to do for a range of ages! My kids (2&5) enjoyed it. I get that its still fairly new but I also felt like it was a bit empty and could use more toys/activities. I was mostly bothered by the fact that adults have to pay so much. I dont think it makes any sense AT ALL to charge parents seeing as theres not really much adults can do other than simply watching their kids. Especially since adults cost MORE than a child! (Like what??) We would come here a lot more if adults were free or just $2 I guess for taking up space. So overall 4stars because its a fun place but maybe not budget friendly!

This place is the best for my almost 3 year old. He loves it. Super worth the price of a membership. The place is immaculately clean. The staff is constantly cleaning which I appreciate. I only wish two things: extended hours so we could go after dinner for an hour or so, and I wish they’d play some quiet music or something in there. It’s good to be able to hear your kids but hard not to be accidentally eavesdropping on all the other parents trying to have a private conversation.

We had a great first experience at Kid’s Town. It is definitely busier before lunchtime, and pretty slow from 1:30-3:00. They have plenty of stuff for all ages. We had 9 months up to 12 years and everyone had a blast. The employees were going around sanitizing everything and putting toys back in their designated play areas very often throughout the day.

Why do they charge for adults? Dumb.Other than that, this place is pretty awesome for 5 years old and younger. My 8 year old used the guise of playing with his 1 year old sister to have fun. He was too cool for it before that. :PMy 11 year old autistic son loved it.

Its a decent place for kids to play. They also charge adult admission just to supervise your kids. A family with two children will pay almost 40 dollars. I thought that was a bit silly.

My children enjoyed their time here. Its fun. I cannot give it five stars though because I waited for several minutes for an employee to come to the front desk. I was about to call the place and request that someone come help. Also, too many of the activities had broken or missing pieces. For the same entrance fee to other places in the state, employees help make sure that toys stay in designated areas so they are there for other kids rather than spread out and unavailable. I strongly recommend that Kids Town begin using a similar practice so that toys are where they need to be when they need to be there.

My kids, 5 and 2, love kids town. We purchased a annual pass because it will pay for itself after only 6 visits with 2 children and one adult. Bonus is that our pass is for our entire family of 6 so all of us can go anytime, though I dont think my 9 or 7 year old will be entertained there for more than 30 minutes. So definitely geared towards the younger kids. My boys love the dress up in the pirate ship and little town. We meet up with friends and they have a blast. The staff is great and love interacting with the kids. My little ones beg to go over and over!

I agree with some of the other reviews. Why am I being charged to stand around and watch my kids? Also, if your children are older than about 4 dont bother, this is really meant for small children. On a positive note, it was clean and had a good variety of activities. Its nice to have something in the area for kids to do while its cold out.

Paying $7 to watch your kid play is ridiculous. I realize you offer discounts on your slower days, but for a lot of people, Saturdays are the only time some parents are able to do things as a family. I get covering your costs but a lot more people would come if they werent charged an arm and a leg to watch their kids play. $2-3 for a parents entrance would be more appropriate.

Stop charging adults to watch their kids!! That’s ridiculous! My kids like this place but with that said I won’t be going back... I went in on a Tuesday. There was a special going on it was $4 a person. The girl at the front desk charged me full price... $23. I also told her I wasn’t staying, my SIL was watching them. Because we didn’t want to pay 2 adult fees! I brought it up to the girl at the front desk that I thought it was supposed to be $4? She said, “Oh I forgot” then ran my card for the $23 instead of it being $8.... so then she sat there saying she didn’t know how to refund me. I asked for a manager to come help her she said there wasn’t one there... then she charged me the $8. Now a week later I have an $8 charge to kids town and a $23. I called to talk to a manager... it took me calling twice and all they said was sorry that’s how our systems work? Didn’t try to make it right or anything... customer service goes a long way kids town!! Great idea, owners aren’t the best and taking care of customer issues...

The idea that an adult has to pay $8 to enter the building to watch their children play is quite ridiculous! None of the other places--IJump, Play Land, etc have a cover charge, and there is much more to do at those places. It is probably great for children from 24 months to 6 years; however, any older find it very hum drum. Also, much of the play equipment wasnt working. 😳

I know options are limited during the winter. So if you decided to take your kid here expect them to get sick. I dont think it is the staffs fault I saw them washing the floor. I just don think they can sanitize fast enough. I heard rumors about it before I came and then my kid got sick and still is. So be for warned, my kid did love it. It just had consequences

We got there at 5:45 and the close at 7:00. We were charged $7 for me and $7 for my boyfriend, and then $5 for my son. We had to pay over $20 for an hour for my son to play. I dont understand why they charge adults. We have been there a few times and each time they have less and less toys. The town itself is cute but the lack of toys was very unimpressive for the price they are charging. The school had a single empty desk and a broken ATM machine? The doctors office had only a couple medical supplies and the pirate ship was bare with only a single treasure chest with a couple outfits. Very disappointing...

Okay for kids up to 8 if they have a good imagination but 6 and under is probably more realistic. It is pretty spendy, especially when adults pay too. My poor 11 year old had nothing to do. The only activity was chess and it was missing both knights and a couple of pawns so we couldn’t even play that together. We were hoping for more of a children’s museum. If that’s what you are looking for too this is not it. Overall clean and lots of room.

I was initially sceptical getting a membership a few months after the grand opening. But since that time My children and I have grown to love our time at Kids Town. It’s a Fantastic place for kids to use their imagination for play and to explore. Annual membership is a fraction of the price to other similar kid focused local facilities. It’s a breath of fresh air compared to most places in town allowing parent labor to relax and not stress while the kids blow off some energy. The kids and I are also avid “IJumpers” but that’s a whole different level of activity including high risk of injury and a battle to find the best time to avoid a crowd of “big kids.” Blast off and Leo’s Place are enjoyable from time to time but could use work on food quality, cleanliness, and safety through rule enforcement. There’s no comparison to the over priced and obnoxious Little Gym of Idaho Falls which is a completely idiotic concept.

I was so excited to have my son enjoy kids town yesterday when i dropped him off, were from blackfoot an there isnt anything hardly descent for toddlers to do around here, an hes the only baby in the family right now,so he dont have friends an he dont really socialize with other kids his age. The staff was sweet tomy little sister an my son , very helpful,so im greatful for that. But i dont understand people around here 8n blackfoot an obviously idaho falls too, why is it that you parents keep your children from even looking at my 2yr old son, let alone talk to him...95% of the adults ive came in contact with at the park, walmart, wherever it may be, make it very clear that you dont want my son around your kids..yesterday at kids town there was an elderly couple who musta had there grandkids that were the worst ive seen an it hurts my feelings to see my son only be able to look from afar an never get that chance to know what its like to have a buddy of his own..I just want every one of u too know that , that kind of attitude an behavior is exactly what i will not raise my son to be like,u guys inspire me to raise a human with a heart for others..it gets so old to watch my son get denied an im so hurt im angry ..To those handful that have taken the time to let my son know he matters,,thank u so very much we love u

We carefully planned our daughters birthday party here with plenty of time in advance. We gave a deposit and reserved the backroom for our guest to have a nice and private time from (3-6). Everything went as planned up till we where told we needed to leave at 5pm due to them double booking the room. All they could do is tell us sorry and that we needed to get out as soon as possible. Being that we are not ones to cause a scene we appologized to our guests and left it as is. We do want everyone to know we will never be back and will encourage people not to have any event here. I hope this serves as a lesson not to blame our spouces for lack of communication as that was the excuse we where given.

Extremely expensive. The cost for an adult to go in to watch their kids play I felt was way over priced.
