Incredible service, equipment and expertise! AYC set us up with Surprise (Beneteau 38) for our 4 day/3 night cruise through the San Juans. We found the staff to be well-prepared for our arrival, the boat clean, ready and stocked as advertised. After a short orientation video, we did our boat checkout with Colleen who was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. She graciously took the extra time to ensure we felt comfortable with the systems on board and even made a clutch recommendation for one of our overnights. We will definitely be back.

The best place for chartering a yacht for the San Juan Islands and beyond!

As you can see from the photo (from Cap Sante park facing East), the scale of the cruising area is immense. That little red boat is an oil tanker. You wont run out of things to do or places to go. Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor are great and hiking on Stuart and Sucia islands is not to be missed. Victoria is within reach if you have an extra couple of days and feel comfortable crossing shipping lanes and entering a very busy harbor. Sheltered anchorages and mooring balls are abundant and not overcrowded.The staff at AYC were all very nice and accommodating and knew what they were doing. There was a minor problem with the boat that was handled efficiently and professionally. The measure of an organization, as with people, is not that theres never a problem but how they respond to it. I have no doubt the folks at AYC will bend over backward to make things right. One of our best vacations ever. Highly recommended.

Boat chartered had defective motor controls that they refused to remedy

Our family of 7 chartered a 39 foot Leopard catamaran sloop for 6 days in September. The checkout and briefing were thorough, the boat was clean and everything worked. We had a great family experience and would recommend Anacortes Yacht Charters. Especially helpful were the dock boys who helped with our extensive luggage and supplies. We had chartered with AYC before - once for a month - and have had good experiences each time.

We have chartered boats around the world and Anacortes yacht charters is one of the best. These guys are pros, their checkout captain Terry knew the individual quirks of each boat in the fleet. That kind of attention is priceless. We were impressed and will be back. Hats off to Anacortes yacht charters and the beautiful San Juan Islands.

The people who work for Crown Yacht Charters are great. We chartered a Catalina 36 for 8 days and it was a great vacation. If you are picky it is best to spend a bunch of time getting to know all of the systems before you go. Our boat, Amarantha, needed a bit of attention but nothing that really distracted from the vacation. Having owned 6 boats before I found it nearly impossible to get everything working at the same time and charter boats are no exception.But the bottom line is that I would charter with this company again without reservation.

Anacortes Yacht Charters—Great company. We contacted them a lot prior to our voyage and found AYC to be easy to contact and easy to work with. The staff was professional and helpful. The boat was clean and in good working condition. As part of the check-in process, AYC provided a local area video, which helped us become familiar with the San Juan’s. The boat check-out was thorough and pleasant. We like these guys.

At the fuel dock waiting for fuel at Cap Sante we were verbally accused of lcutting in front of Ana Cortes Yacht Charters boat and that we had just pulled out of our slip to cut in front of Ana Cortes Yacht Clubs boat and they came at us at the dock as if to ram us out of the way when the dock fuel helper told us to come in. We had been waiting off to the side after coming in from fishing. When we told the two young male drivers that we were in line and there before them one told us we were not in the line the correct way as the line was over by the Ana Cortes Yacht Charters CustomerService boat.What a joke that the young men felt they needed to accosted an old couple like us. Thing is, we will tell 10 friends and they will tell ten more . . .
