Terrible experience. First off, the books that were provided looked as if they were printed from a copy of a copy. In addition they essentially tell you to memorize about 900 questions and answers. Such an awful system and experience. Well things got busy with Covid so I didn’t have a chance to memorize 900 question. When I started coming around to it, I reached out to the business to see if they had onsite assistance. They immediately turned me away starting it’s been 1 year and I need to purchase it again. I didn’t recall the contract I signed starting it’s only valid for 1 year so I reviewed it and yup, don’t specify it. So, instead of arguing with them to go through their awful course, I just went through another schooling, Contractors Intelligence School. It’s online through an app you can download on your phone with a lot of content and audio files to review. If you get an answer wrong during the pretest, they provide the right answer with the code going in-depth to why it was that answer.

I have high standards for individuals and companies in this trade. Either be work wise or go flip burgers. Advance definitely held up to these high standards. Everything from day one was laid out to me, not just the program, but the rolling on line with icc, book ordering, time management, and the educators working at Advanced know there trades. I would quiz them to polish up on my skills and they took it to another level and got me the extra mile. I appreciate and respect what yall do.Thank yall from Texas

I’m writing this review on my experience with Advanced Contractor and Inspector Training. I’m a Veteran and am using the VA Vocational Rehabilitation benefits. This school is a certified school by the VA and you are able to use your GI Bill, Post 9/11 and/or Voc Rehab benefits. When I first made contact with Tony Dottore, he explained to me how the whole program works and gave me a quick tour of the school and introduced me to one of the tutors that the school provides. We filled out all the paperwork and told me to have my VA counselor get in touch with him so I can begin attending. That’s when the problems started. Dealing with the VA is…stressful. I called and emailed Tony almost daily for an update. Tony kept reassuring me that he had dealt with the VA before and to be patient. He was very professional in every step of the way and continues to check in with me from time to time to see how my courses are coming along. But anyway, once the VA finally did their part, at least the paperwork portion, I began attending class. It took the VA a couple months to pay the school for the courses and for the books that I needed to complete the courses. Tony told me I could still attend class and take the blueprint reading portion of the course I was taking since I didn’t need the books for that portion. Again, I was beginning to lose my patience, but Tony told me to relax, the VA will eventually pay up and they could order my books. The VA paid for a few courses and my books and my journey to become and Inspector began. Having been out of school for a couple years, 20 to be exact, I was a little nervous and wondered if I was even capable of learning something completely new. I checked in with tutor and he explained to me how to be successful in the program. The tutors they have are very knowledgeable and eager to help. This course is designed to help you pass, as long as you put in the time and effort.I have been attending class every chance I get and can’t wait to complete all the courses I signed up for. I have met new people here, everywhere from 20+ years in the construction field to people like me with zero experience. This school is 100% Veteran friendly. Tony makes it a point to thank me for my service every time we chat at school. I definitely recommend this school, not just to Veterans, but to everyone that’s looking to get into the Contractor and/or Inspector field. Thank you to Tony and all the great staff at Advanced Contractor and Inspector Training.

What a joke. Their class is just outlining the book, then your supposed to be able to find the answers on the test. Well it doesnt work, there outlining isnt accurate and they dont teach anything.I took ICC masonry. Will never use again.

I signed up myself and three other people in that school. They made sure that I regret of my decision! The most rude, racist school administrator ever!He picked up a fight over the fact that I asked why their watch is not showing the accurate time. They let you study only within their school time frame and you can’t take any sample questions to home to review and study. You are under camera surveillance as if you are seating in prison. At first seemed I had no choice but to sign up, till I learned there are some amazing inspection schools out there.Never again going there or recommending anyone!
