I cannot recommend this school enough!. I am a working mom whos a little older, and I needed an education that was thorough and concise - and thats what I got at Pro-tech. The accelerated course clips along, and if your ready to put work into learning (like anyone should do when learning to SAVE LIVES!) then Pro-tech will get you prepared - both for the NREMT exam and for the real world experience! The instructors are VERY knowledgeable, ready to share their extensive experience and are full of love and compassion for their students.Big shout out to Daniel and Brad - thank you both so much for all the time and effort you poured into me and all the students in my class. This course is a great investment!

Brad really cares about his students. Not about the money! Such a welcoming atmosphere, very family oriented. He also teaches us things that other institutes lack that’ll help us be a better EMT in the long run. I recommend him to everyone interested!

Theyre super knowledgeable from their own experience from the field. They actually care about your learning. Not money, or grades. Daniel and Brad are cool and chill teachers. I had a lot of fun getting certified here. Best learning experience ever.

This is by far the best EMT school around. Trust me, I know. I unfortunately attended a different school before going to Pro-Tech. That other school was non stop power point reading for the entire class with minimal hands on skills. Pro-Tech on the other hand, is hands on and interactive with their lectures. I cant begin to express how awesome Brad, Daniel and Glenn are. They do everything in their power to make sure you are retaining and understanding the information they are giving you. The skills at this school are also taught by Care and their training officers. The instructors over at Care go above and beyond for Pro-Tech students. National skills testing was a breeze because the instructors made sure we were prepared. If I could give this school more stars, I would.

I recently completed the EMT basic course at Pro-Tech and it was a truly great experience. Dawn, the primary instructor for my course, was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Dawn brings years of experience in the field to the course and it showed, she kept the course both educational and enjoyable. The course was a great mix of hands on and lecture. The class sizes are kept small with an amazing student to teacher ratio. I was thoroughly impressed with the course, and would highly recommend it.

I attended the January 2018 Monday and Wednesday night class. This is a great program and highly recommended! If you are interested in a program that is well structured and taught by highly qualified people then definitely consider this EMT school. I work full-time Monday-Friday so the structure of this class worked great for me and the price is very competitive with the schools in the area.

I would highly recommend Protech to anyone looking to get their EMT certification. The instructors are all amazing and truly want you to succeed. The course absolutely prepared me to pass the National Registry. The good class sizes and hands on activities really helped me master the material.

Reviewed a few EMT schools in Orange County and this particular course was economically sound. Have a few instructors who provide different perspectives from their personal experience in the EMS field. I work Monday through Friday which was manageable with the class. Definitely recommend this program and this class has been wonderful.

It is alright. Perosnally I felt like i paid a grand to teach a class. He says its a different way to learn but that way of learning was not for me. Also I would suggest reading the book before taking this class if you are a slow reader or have no experice in this feild. And take notes at the same time. Because you go through around 15 chapters a week which can be overwhelming.

I did the accelerated course at protech. The classroom dynamic is good, still a work in progress being relatively newer than other emts programs around, but nevertheless the curriculum and teachers are very knowledgeable have good didactic skills and promote critical and inquisitive thinking ability, you don’t leave asking yourself I dont get it. Im one to know going through the program twice once at west coast and here for my second. The class size it small having great teacher/student interaction. But the sure fire point that makes this school stick out are its skills instructors and their commitment to really equip new students to get out in the field.

I decided to change careers. I worked in a world where I was comfortable and excelled at my job. I traveled the world, managed professional athletes, went to Olympics, World Championships and witnessed amazing sights and feats. Change is hard, uncomfortable and at times very challenging. I was making good money, respected within the industry but something was missing. I was truly not happy with the direction of my life. After months of soul searching, I finally found what I was looking for.... an industry where you can help the community, be active, be part of a team and help save lives.I researched several schools to attend and stumbled upon Protech. I was hesitant at first as the school was fairly new. After reading a couple reviews about the style of teaching and the environment, I knew this was the school for me. Their heart is in the right place and truly want people to succeed in this profession and life. Their passion for this industry and people shine through and make for a successful class and environment. The interaction with students and making sure they do not become wall flowers is key to a successful class. The skeleton, heart on the ground and presentations were instrumental to learning. I still have my skeleton hung on the wall and look at it everyday. Building the heart on the ground was key and helped me understand the flow on how blood travels through the heart. I loved the presentation as it got me to be creative in delivering the information to classmates. The skills portion of class was amazing. Being able to interact with CARE and all the utensils brought the book to life. I am a visual learner and found the hands on discussion with all the gadgets to better my knowledge. The test were difficult and at times hard to follow. To be honest this frustrated me. Reflecting back on the final, all the test and how I barely passed. I believe the test could be written a smidge more clear but realize these test/questions are to prepare me for the NREMT. I have already taken 2 practice NREMT test and found that I am going through all the correct and appropriate steps in order to answer the question correctly.I can not thank Brad, Daniel and Dawn enough and hope all the best for them. They are evolving with the new generation and causing other schools to question their methods. They keep an open mind to learning new things, rethinking the EMT training process and improving it. I have nothing but good things to say about this class and would recommend this school to everyone. If you are looking to get into this industry, invest in this school. They are not out to take your money but to make sure you succeed in the industry and life!!!
