I liked it a bit. No that very much!

Parents please beware of how they treat your children!I prepaid for a year for my 3 children and they attended this center for 6 months, they did advance a bit in math and reading so the program does work. A rule that the head instructor (whom also happens to be the owner) has is that parents have to wait outside because kids tend to focus better when theyre parents are not in the same room. I was in agreement with that rule until I became really concerned about the way they were treating my children when I was not in the same room. One day back in January after my kids attended the center, my 11 yr old daughter told me that the wife of the owner, also an instructor, threatened to pinch my 6 yr old son for not getting answers right in math. I confronted her, she became very defensive and said that it was a misunderstanding. I reported that right away to the Better Business Bureau and told my kids to please watch over each other when they are there, I also started doing pop up visits. About a month later my 11 yr old daughter was so excited to show off her new hydro flask that she had been wanting for a while. The husband instructor took it away from her and said that he would not give it back to her until she started focusing on her work. He finally gave it back 2 weeks later. I wanted to quit the program and pull my kids out, the owner did not allow that and he was firm on not giving a refund. My kids continued to attend. In April my 11 yr old noticed a mistake that the instructor made on her corrections, I brought up the mistake in an email to the owner. The next day that he saw my daughter, him, his wife and another unknown person cornered my daughter, yelled at her for lying to me in front of everyone and told her to come tell me that she lied. When she walked to my car, I saw her face like she wanted to cry and held it until she got in the car. That was the last straw! She did not lie, we would always go over corrections together. I went in, yelled at them and pulled my kids out. I have been in contact with Kumon headquarters, Mary from the complaint department and her supervisor, to help me get a refund for the remaining time that we did not attend. They seemed like they wanted to help me in the beginning but now they just ignore my calls and they are always away from theyre desk. Parents please dont leave your kids alone no matter how old they are. My thought was that my kids are old enough to talk, its ok to step away for a little bit and trust these adults to be alone with my children adults that I know nothing about. Huge mistake! The fact that these instructors think that its ok to treat other peoples children this way is beyond my understanding. My kids do not at all feel comfortable returning to this place and while they did advance in curriculum I am very regretful for enrolling them and putting them through this nightmare.
