A very unprofessional business with poor customer service. The studio owner is very stubborn and does not listen to parent concerns objectively. Our patience has ended with the drama and group of toxic parents that are now spilt between two age groups making a lot of parents miserable. The parents are unfortunately studio “favorites” as they are prop parents and the moms that assist in the dressing rooms. It is discouraging to see friends leave the studio and hear of others like us planning to leave at the end of this season. Our child has had enough mistreatment. We just endured another shutdown due to a large Covid outbreak amongst the dancers from a trip out of state. This studio has lost their top dancers year after year but they continue to make the same mistakes. The final straw was an event where a male tap teacher passed out drunk during a competition while supervising the children. We were appalled to find out that it happened and that the teacher was still teaching classes. We will be moving on in a few short weeks but we felt obligated to inform others before they pay the high prices to be mistreated like we were.

I really had hoped to enjoy this studio more with such good ratings. The focus and care is for the competition team and not recreational dancers. My child was cycled through 3 different instructors and a dance changed about a month before recital. No AC during the Summer, the kids were suffering in the heat. If you wish for a good experience do not go here.

The routines and outfits coming from this troupe are not appropriate for the age group at all. It is really sad to see such provocative moves and skimpy outfits for innocent kids.

We have been involved in many youth competitive sports through our children over past 15 years, and I must say that our experiences with Dance Precisions were the worst youth sports experience we ever have experienced. I will try to make the point short here…Our daughter joined their All Star cheer team in July 2014 (Dance Precisions owns Cheer Precisions, same owner, same locations / office). The approximate cost of the cheerleading fee was over $2400 (paid up front… our first mistake), which should covers uniforms, cheer shoes for competitions, warm-up, national / regional level competition fees, and 1 week long summer camp. The monthly tuition fees were additional and not included in this fee. By August, the one week long summer camp was substituted to a two day choreography camp. Once the competition season started in December 2014, our first competitions was substituted to high school / pop warner level competition and our third competition was unable to participate due to Dance Precisions failed to register the team on time.By January 2015, the main coach left the team at the middle of the season and the owner of Dance Precisions (Edith Montoya) became a temporary coach. From January through the end of March 2015, the team only participated in 3 competitions (one was downgraded to a local high school competition) out of 7 originally scheduled / paid by parents. We had requested partial refund in February based on breach of contracts by Cheer Precisions / misuse of our paid fee (not participated in scheduled competitions, undelivered goods: no warm-ups no cheer shoes no make ups were provided for my daughter at her exit in January 2015). We had made numerous attempts to contact owner (Edith) however, she had never once contacted us back regards to our concerns or request of refunds. We had spoke to their reseptionists and the accountant numerous times and I must say that they were trying to help us at their assigned work capacities by answering to our concerns. They refunded us $300 out of our request of partial refund of $880. I believe that our requesting refund amount ($880) is reasonable considering $2400 fee we paid up front, and 4 out of 7 missed competitions by our team (each scheduled competition has a per participants fee of approx. $100 each), all the undelivered promises (summer camp and paid but not delivered cheerleading gears). Long story short, we contacted Cheer Precisions through our attorney and still no responses from Edith (owner). After over a month and half of not hearing from them I finally got hold of the accountant of Cheer Precisions. Her answers to us was that their attorney supposed to contact our attorney, therefore, she doesnt have any answers nor cant discuss. I had asked for their attorneys information since neither we or our attorney had heard from Edith or her attorney for over a month, they simply refused to give me their attorney’s information. And once again, the owner (Edith) was not available for our call even though she was at the office. It sounds so naive, but I never expected that locally own youth sports organizations could conduct such a scam within our communitiy and completely refused to bring the matters to the fair agreement. The youth sports should be mostly about kids but Cheer Precisions sure make it about them profiting by shorting their athletes from their proper trainings and promised competitions. Simply very disappointing experience!
