I cant say enough about what Ken & Allison have done for my daughters confidence and situational awareness. Coach Ken is in the Martial Arts Hall of Fame! Who wouldnt want to bring their kids to be coached by him. He is amazing with kids makes it fun and but most of all teaches constructive self discipline.

Weve been students here for 5 months now with my wife, 12yrs old daughter and me. We practice self defense abduction scenarios like punch, arm grabs, front and back strangles, etc. We also practice knife and guns defense. The key in defense coach Ken stresses is to always observe the people and your surrounding. You have to defend yourself before the attacker even have a chance to do any harm. We practice and practice until it becomes a reflex rather then thinking under stressful situations.

I have been training with Ken for years now and I can honestly say that I love his classes. I started out in the kids program and as I got older moved up to the adult class. I now help out with the kids and still participate in the other classes. He shares valuable lessons and information with all the classes and overall I find his krav classes are very useful and practical!

I have been training at Anaheim Krav Maga for a year, and still look forward to every class. Krav Maga is a great workout, and more importantly, it prepares you to defend yourself in a dangerous situation. I have learned to be more aware of my surroundings, and I have confidence that if I am ever attacked, I will have a fighting chance. The people who train here are diverse, friendly, non-intimidating, and fun to work out with. Master Ken cares about his students and pulls from his extensive martial arts background to teach us the most effective techniques for stopping an attacker. We train for real-world scenarios and have fun doing it!

My experience with Anaheim Krav Maga started with a free trial. I also brought along my young daughter. I was searching for something that was effective for self defense for her because she was getting bullied at school, and for myself I wanted to train to be able to protect my family. Master Ken is great with the kids because he is patient, caring, and ties the curriculum with games to keep the kids engaged. The adult classes are great too. There is a beginner level class and an advanced level class. I look forward to each class and working with the other students on techniques. Master Ken has a wealth of martial arts knowledge and he will provide additional extra credit if asked during the daily partner lesson. Ive been a part of the Practical Martial Arts family for almost a year and I have learned so much! I was hooked from my first class. Master Ken is approachable, knowledgeable and makes the class fun and accessible no matter your level of experience. He teaches not only the self defense moves, but also gives excellent insight on how to avoid dangerous situations all together. In addition, the school offers a great selection of class times, fitting various work/school schedules.I feel blessed to have found a such an excellent instructor, and a great group of fellow students, to teach me how to better defend myself.

The instructor is friendly and very helpful. My boys were skeptical on taking a defense class but the instructor made it fun and knowledgeable. My boys are now motivated and enjoy being here to learn how to protect themselves.

Started my krav journey almost a year ago and have enjoyed it every step of the way! Master Ken is so funny and informative. He takes the time to learn your strengths and weaknesses and enhances your learning experience. The classes are full of non judgmental people and have an extremely positive vibe.I am close to advancing towards myborange bemtand am looking forward to getting my black belt in the future! Use to be one of my favorite places to relieve stress, Ken (the instructor) is great. Hes a Martial Arts Hall of Famer who teaches you well. You never really forget what he teaches you since its all Muscle memory.Had to drop out after a year due to financial troubles, although I due to wish that he took my offer up of letting me train there for free in exchange for me cleaning up the studio (sort of like the Karate Kid) hahaha.Just an FYI that he will train you not only in Krav Maga, but also Boxing, Muy Thai, and even Brazilian Jujitsu at times.Theres only two things that are preventing me from giving him a 5 Star Review, and thats:1) He definitely needs a bigger studio, its too cramped in there.2) Be careful in volunteering for his demonstrations (in fact avoid it at all costs), he almost choked me to death (literally im NOT JOKING) even after I tapped out he continued (he either got carried away or didnt realize I tapped), I ended up spitting out blood in the bathroom and my neck has never really felt the same afterwards.
